I read somewhere that after season 1, a new piglet played Arnold each of the remaining 5 seasons.These piglets were smaller than the original Arnold who in season one appeared to be an adult pig.The reason for a new piglet each season is that for whatever reason they wanted a small pig and the piglets grow pretty big be the end of each season.I believe 1 person trained all these piglets.I'm not sure whatever happened to the original Arnold.

Arnold and the other animals on the show were trained by Frank Inn who also trained Ellys "critters" and Duke on THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES and the dog on PETTICOAT JUNCTION.
