LOL Sorry! I didn't see your earlier post. Paul has always been my favorite. It's hard to decide who was the better singer. They all had different voices. John was better at pure rock and Paul was a better ballad/ love song singer. I really like George's voice too. He had some good songs with The Beatles. Something, Don't Bother Me, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Here Comes The Sun,etc. Ringo? Not so much but as a group they were unbeatable! I always thought that Paul was the best looking. I could never hate a fellow Beatles fan! And I liked John a lot too! But I've always had a lot of respect for Paul . He was a family man. He took his wife and kids on tour with Wings. Yeah he was pretty hot. I liked him in Rosemary's baby as Guy! ;) I loved that movie! Mia was so good in it too! The remake recently wasn't nearly as good! And the guy who played Guy (haha) wasn't nearly as hot as John.

Poor Jan, she really did have self esteem issues. Second daughter syndrome ! I am the second daughter in my family, but I am also the youngest , the baby of the family so it wasn't as bad for me. Back to Jan, they always portrayed Marcia as being so perfect! IMO as Jan got older in the later eps, she was just as pretty , maybe even prettier than Marcia! My high school graduation was the same day that Robert Kennedy was shot. So I remember it well.:( Jacqueline Kennedy was my "idol" back then. (still is , actually!) With all of their flaws they still were special. They brought youth, class and style to the White House which was sorely needed. Jackie did a marvelous job renovating the White House. My dad didn't like her but he did admit that she did a great service to our country. She was an invaluable asset to her husband(especially in foreign affairs) and he knew it.:) Well, sorry. I have turned this into a Jackie tribute but I adore her!:)

The part when JFK was killed was really emotional, tears were running down my cheeks. I had tears through a lot of that movie. OMG you could just feel Jackie's pain at losing her husband in that scene! Than they moved on to Lyndon Johnson, and a bit of comedic relief, they portrayed him as being a goof ball! I think I have read every book about the Kennedy's. My favorite is the book written by Clint Hill,Jackie's secret service man. He really admired her and the President. He was devastated when Kennedy was assassinated. He was the man on the rear of the car in the motorcade in Dallas. He gives an in depth account of the Kennedy White House and November 23, 1963. It's very interesting. He really never recovered his depression after the assassination and retired soon after.

I purchased Glen Campbell's greatest hits not too long after my Mother passed away! When "Galveston" comes on I am in tears! My parents were big Glen fans, they must have had all his records. As a little girl I thought Galveston was the most beautiful song I ever heard. Still do , it is a really pretty song. I remember asking my Mom "What is Galveston". She told me it is a city in Texas by the shore. ;) ( I didn't know at the time, but the song is actually a Vietnam protest song, a guy leaving his town of Galveston and leaving his girl to go off to war). So when I hear Galveston it really reminds me of my Mom. The other songs remind me of my Dad, who is doing very well in his old age, and I get sentimental , but not in tears sentimental . Oh yes!!!!! Ponch is my BABY!!!!! :) So glad METV put Chips on!!! Except it is on at 6;00PM out here in California, so I am running in the kitchen during commercials getting dinner together, and the hubby gets home around 6:30 and depending on his mood. My husband is a really big Packers fan , that is how I started following them. When Brett Farve left and Aaron Rodgers took over that was the first thing I noticed, his pretty eyes. Also in these movies John Curtis is not even mentioned. Back in the 80's a Waltons movie was made in which MaryEllen was in a dilemma about marrying Jonesy because she couldn't have anymore children. Then miraculously in a 90's reunion she and Jonsey had 3 children! But John Curtis is no where to be seen!:rolleyes: And in another movie Ben and Cindy's daughter had died (no explanation) and the son that they had in the last season of the Waltons is not mentioned. In that movie Cindy is depressed because she hasn't any children. I cannot understand why Earl Hamner approved of these stupid scripts! :confused:

My dad was a huge fan Of Dark Shadows! He loved Quentin's Theme. In fact he bought the sheet music to play on the piano. I remember one summer he and my mom went on a 2 week vacation and he couldn't watch Dark Shadows( no VCR's then) So before they left my sisters and I had to swear to watch every episode and to keep a written journal of each episode! :lol: We did and when he got back home we filled him in.:)

Still on the subject of Dark Shadows, even though this is a good looking men's thread I must comment on how beautiful was the evil Angelique and Barnabas's true love, Josette. And Kate Jackson as Quentin's love, Daphne. I think that this was Kate's first tv acting role.
