Actor Brad Davis(1949-1991) He was in a couple of mini-series in the 70's.(Sybil and Roots) Also famous for the movie Midnight Express. Sadly he contracted HIV through intravenous drug use before becoming sober in 1981.

Although the announcement said he died of AIDS, he actually died of an intentional drug overdose. Near death and in severe pain in a hospital, he opted to end his life on his own terms. With his wife and a family friend present, he committed assisted suicide. So sad.:(

Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison in "The Doors" He was dead-on as Morrison but Meg Ryan was totally miscast as Pamela. As usual Oliver Stone totally went over the top on the facts in this film. Keyboardist Ray Manzarek really panned the movie because Stone only portrayed Morrison through the entire film as a spaced out zombie. Yes, Jim was a stone alcoholic by the end of his life but he did have some redeeming qualities which were entirely ignored. Anyway, Val did a very terrific job in spite of Oliver Stone in his portrayal of Jim.
