TV Vet Michael McKean Joins AMC's "Breaking Bad" Prequel "Better Call Saul"

"Laverne & Shirley" alum Michael McKean is packing his briefcase and heading to New Mexico.
The actor is the first new cast member to join AMC’s "Breaking Bad" prequel spin-off "Better Call Saul", our sister site Deadline reports.
McKean will play Dr. Thurber, a sharp lawyer who’s limited by an unusual affliction. He joins Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks, who already have signed on to reprise their "Bad" roles.
AMC will bow "Better Call Saul" in November.
