As I am fond of both ladies, I mean it as a compliment :) It's their shared accent, head shake, widened and squinted stares, shrugged shoulders, smiles, etc. that I find reminiscent of each other.

I don't see/hear a real resemblance. Now, Rosie/Penny, yes. And Kathy Griffin does a good Rosie O'Donnell impression.
