Two Things. If you re-read my response to her coming out. you will see I lean towards the likely hood that at her age she is NOT having sex. Second. SEXual preference is described by the terms straight, homosexual, lesbian, bi-sexual, trandgender (who THEY prefer is ANYONE'S guess). It's all about perspective. Sex at 70 may seem unappealing to someone who's in their 20's, 30's or 40's, but they may think differently when they get to be that age.

If so Penny has not denied it. She could sue. They reported that she was sick and she denied and then it turned out she did have cancer. She now says she is in remission but she still looks like a very sick woman.

I know that they did that semi-autobiographical made-for-TV movie during the late-1970's about their rise to stardom, and they had a scene where Rob's character offered sex with Penny's character in order to help her with a sex scene for a movie or play, or something like that:

Rob Reiner did come to visit when Penny first got sick. Rob did cheat on Penny. He made some kind of statement that it was an open marriage to him anyway. Penny never said anything about cheating on him. The relationship with Art Garfunkel was off and on and he did offer to marry her. Penny's response was that they fought all the time. Art did marry after that. I still don't know what that woman does. Art has this kid in his early twenties that left home at age 15 and lives in Germany. A few years ago Art and his wife had a kid with a Surrogate. Art at age 72 has an eight year old. Penny said that Art was nice and just eccentric. I guess Penny never mentioned the gay thing in her bio and it was a late in life thing. I Agree that her generation was part of the free love generation. Penny had a daughter in college and never had a chance to explore options.

Honestly I don't know if this is true or just some lie released by the trash-loids as I like to call them. But even if she is doesn't really surprise me honestly. Also who cares, it's her life as long as she's happy that's all that matters. People dwell to much on this stuff.

I dunno. Sometimes the Enquirer is utter crap, some days they hit the nail right on the head. Whatever the story is, I just hope Penny is happy.

To me, the biggest doubt in the Enquirer's story is that Penny's autobiography came out (no pun intended) in 2012 and while there were some unflattering details and less than shining moments, Penny never presented herself to be anything but het.

TVFactFan, you apparently don't know that Cindy and Penny couldn't stand one another during the last few seasons of L&S. From the stories that I've heard, working on that set was a miserable environment.

I think she said that because it was two single women living together and spending a lot of time together. Also sleeping in the same room and not seeing any men that often

Penny was solo the last season. She said that a lot of the fights were a result of Mark Hudson, Cindy's then husband, interfering. Penny and Cindy have since made up. I think it is kind of strange that Penny would pick the National Enquirer to come out. She complained about them when she was sick. Neither Penny or Carrie have come out to the main stream media.

I read her autobiography. She LOVED guys her whole life. Like, seriously loved the heck out of them. She has lots of friends, some guys and some girls. But never once in her autobio did she give ANY inkling that she was a lesbian. I have nothing at all against LGBT people. But Penny is known as a brutally honest individual and has low tolerance for BS. In her bio, she is very candid about her failed marriages, her abortion, her daughter, and even her rocky relationship with Cindy. She is also an advocate for gay/lesbian rights. So if she WERE gay, I do not think she would hide it.

Also what is the source that Rob Reiner cheated on her? I have never heard that rumor in my life and I have been semi-obsessing over Penny for a long ass time, since 1997.
