While I may agree that Rosanne was probably the best in the 90's, I have to disagree that there hasn't been one as good or better since. I really like Everybody Loves Raymond. In fact I prefer to watch that then Rosanne. JMO though.

Roseanne was probably the best sitcom in the 90's for about 5 or 6 seasons.

The last season was a complete train wreck, but the show was otherwise excellent, and one of the best sitcoms of all time.

There have been good sitcoms since then, in my opinion. Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Grace Under Fire, Seinfeld. Not many, but several.

Definitely had the best Halloween episodes.

The 90s was really the last great era for sitcoms (Seinfeld, Roseanne, Fraiser, Friends and so on). The sitcoms today are okay - but nowhere near as good as a couple decades ago.
