I don't think Ta-Tanisha was unattractive. Beautiful dark skinned woman who can sport an Afro. I have to disagree on this one.

She wasn't that bad looking. I don't think they gave her a good makeup job. She looked much better less than a year later when she was on the Puppy Love episode of What's Happening.

JJ had uglier dates than her, I just can't think of them off the top of my head.

I don't think she looked like a dog at all. Maybe normal looking but not unattractive IMO.

Hey I was reading a couple of post of where it talked about James being replaced, if I would have been Lear I would have brought in Hal Williams Smitty from Sanford and Son and Lester from 227 and let me tell you why, first of all he has appeared on two episodes in getting up the rent and that other episode where JJ was giving Art lessons to his son where he looked like he was having hipertention moments where Florida had to calm him down, and he could of have been more tougher then James I would say on a scale close that would have been my choice they did the same thing for Fresh Princes where they replaced the original Vivian with a new Vivian the light skinned lady, but I wanted to let you all no that Mill Creek will be releasing Good Times where I assumed they brought the rights from Sony where they might included all of the original close caption and deleted scenes which could have been cut I do not no because I have never bought non of the season but they might be doing something with it if you go to www.tvshowindvd.com and read all about it
