Has anyone seen this commercial lately?

Gary's Arnold character appears in the TV commercial, thinking that he won some money and says; "Whatchu talkin' bout?" when the people show up.

He thought that they were there to give HIM the check, but they were there to give it to Willis instead. That is when he utters his famous line. Hah!! :)

C'mon -- why discourage people from posting by calling their topic stupid? With the exception of some of the more popular series, this site is like a ghost town. Some sub-forums go years between posts!!

The Publishers thing has been discussed on other boards as they've also used Robert Reed, Bob Denver, etc. in their ads.

No and stupid thread topic

I don't think that it was stupid. Then don't read it.

Good point which is why I will allow the topic to continue. Solomon, you can't bully people on the boards, brother. That's a no-no. :p

I have seen it and like that commercial it was funny. I like that Mike Brady, Gilligan and Skipper also won. LOL. This gimmick was a clever one. I wonder how much it cost them to lease the rights to use the clips and characters? I hope the commercials continue to get more and more air time. It is a way of nostalgia back to people along with promoting the PCH Sweepstakes. Clever move.

Did Gary filmed this commercial before he passed past away??? I'm confused :(

You are confused because the person who started the thread made no sense.

The thread was started in a way that makes you think that Gary Coleman is alive.

If you feel that myself or the thread makes no sense, then why on earth do you come back here like a bully to post?

Don't get mad with me. Blame Publishers Clearing House, They are the ones who made the commercial.

And BTW, it is a clip from his show, Diff'rent Stokes when he was a little boy, and everyone knows that he was fully grown before he died.

It is certain times of the year when Publishers Clearing House has the commercials on TV.

Usually to run their Sweepstakes campaign. That'd be about 2 or 3 times a year. ;)

As it turns out, some celebrities like Marilyn Monroe and Elvis seem to have "appeared" more posthumously than when they were alive...!

and Tupac Shakur recently had a "live concert".

Most of the dead celebs are sometimes featured in commercials as though they are still alive.

Robert Reed from The Brady Bunch is also in one of the commercials, and he's been dead for years,

And speaking of Gary, the 3rd anniversery of his death is coming up in a few days.

Wow, time really flies. I still haven't seen this commercial, but I hope to. I liked the one with Robert Reed.

Let it go Solomon. It was clear to most of us that saw the commercial. I don't know for the life of me that you dislike this topic. I'm enjoying this topic. A nice, little fun topic to read and laugh about.

I gotta remind you about how you would watch DS on BET those JG Wentworth ("It's my money and I need it now") commercials would air during the breaks on the show and you would post topics about the commercial. LOL.

As far Larenz09, he makes perfect sense. Trust me, there are people that I know on this overall website that make little sense. You and I know them...but not Larenz. He's all right.

I was explaining to another poster why he was confused and then Larenz started coming at me again. lol

That's because he thought you were being rude to him again based on the original comment. Think about it. Just show him that kinder, gentler side. Give him a free episode of some old show with commercials. LOL.

You said that I didn't make any sense.

I merely asked that if you didn't like the thread, why do you come back to post in it.

Then I said don't get mad at me, blame Publishers Clearing House because they made the commercial(s).

I don't look at that as "coming at you again".
