(The Pittsburgh Penguins beat the NY Rangers 5-4.)
(Ralph Kramden is calling WFAN to get on the Boomer & Carlton In The Morning.)
Boomer Eiason: "What a dissappointing Islander game last night. The Islanders lost 5-4 to the Penguins. We got a caller. It is Ralph Kramden from Brooklyn."
Ralph: "Hello?"
Craig Carlton (imitating Jerry Seinfeld): "HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLO! LA, LA, LA!"
(Ralph laughs.)
Carlton: "What is on your mind Mr. Kramden buddy boy."
Ralph: "Hello guys. I am calling on my break down at the Gotham Bus Company. I saw that Islander game. What a dissapointment."
(Ed comes down.)
Ed (loudly and not knowing that Ralph is on the phone): "HEY RALPH-IE BOY!"
Ralph: "Quiet Norton. I am on the phone. I am talking to Boomer and Carlton."
Boomer: "Boy, this is a first for us."
Ed (over phone and not knowing that his voice is heard): "Boomer and Carlton. I listen to their show every day down where I work in the sewer."
Carlton: "I think I might lose my breakfast."
Ralph: "Norton, you are embarrassing me. I want to talk about that Islander game yesterday."
Ed: "Oh yeah. I was upset too. All the people down in the sewer want a Rangers/Islanders third round matchup."
Ralph (yells): "NORTON YOU NUT! YOU ARE EMBARRASSING ME."
Boomer: "Well, I think that the Penguins are a better team."
Ralph: "They are? Those Penguins players all have left feet. If I was on the ice, I would be unstoppable."
Ed (over phone and not knowing that his voice is being heard): "If you were on the ice, you would slip through the cracks."
Ralph (yells): "OKAY NORTON! PUT 'EM UP! PUT 'EM UP!"
Craig Carlton: "That takes care of him. Next call please."
(Meanwhile people break up Ralph & Ed fighting.)
(Jackie walks on stage. Audience applauds.)
Jackie: "How sweet it is."
(Audience cheers.)
Jackie: "Ladies and gentlemen, we couldn't get Boomer Eiason and Craig Carlton down here because of their job in New York. But, I am sure that they would love to be down here in Miami Beach."
(Audience cheers.)
Jackie: "And they know that the Miami Beach audiences are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!"
(Audience cheers.)
