I was pretty confident I could name all 12.

In the pilot, Ginger was a sassy secretary played by Kit Smythe.

Then the role of Ginger was changed to a sexy movie star and the part was Jayne Mansfield’s.

But Jayne said no. Then, in both Rescue from Gilligan's Island and The Castaways on Gilligan’s Island, Ginger was Judith Baldwin.

I have no doubt that leaving out Tina Louise was totally intentional on your part. No diehard fan of G.I. is going to name all 12 (some so-called) actresses who played or had the part of Ginger and forget to name Tina. Also, what's the point of asking a trivia question and then provide the answers yourself? I could understand your doing this if sufficient time had passed without a reply but 4 minutes is ridiculous. :rolleyes:

I'm glad you caught my wordplay. Jayne Mansfield may have "had the part" of Ginger.
But of course she was never Ginger.

I don't suppose Miss Mansfield even made any test footage or we would've seen it as a DVD extra.
