Cool! I was just a kid when it came out but my favorite song from the album was Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band took six months to make, from November 1966 to April 1967.

The Beatles made one hell of a dramatic transition, so incredibly fast. Three months ago, in August 1966, they did their last live shows in America (the final U.S. tour ended with Candlestick Park in San Francisco, CA).

And then 3 months later, the group changed dramatically, in terms of looks, and music. They no longer were the moptop sporting young lads with matching suits.

Paul McCartney had most of the ideas for "Sgt. Pepper". From the album to the songs. And Paul grew a mustache at the time because of a scar on his lip.
