How do I fix it, is there an free software that will fix it

there are a million different reasons that IE could be crashing - start by cleaning out all your temp files (http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard) and cache (http://atf-cleaner.en.softonic.com/download), try resetting (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737) IE (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Reset-Internet-Explorer-settings) and install the newest version (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/download-ie), and make sure you update and run your anti-malware (http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/download/67386d80390c3009534cec09bad421fd/)and antivirus (http://www.filehippo.com/download_avg_antivirus_64/) programs.

- or switch to a different browser, the one I use is Palemoon (http://www.palemoon.org/).

Or get a better browser. IE is the worst

I gave up on IE years ago! I used Google Chrome for a while but I prefer Firefox.:D
