Needless to say, all will be stuffed.
Stormtracker TF 11-21-2012, 08:05 PM Can't believe tomorrow morning will be our 10th time doing this. Thanksgiving has been shaping up to be a very unconventional one for me this year, which is why more than ever I'm happy to see one thing staying true to it's form as always. :turkey:

Stormtracker TF 11-22-2012, 06:24 AM Morning, Sir TFio. What happened?
Well, I feel like a truck hit me this morning but I'm very happy.
Yesterday started out with me taking BF to work, and afterwards I had to go straight to the shop to get a new tire put on one of the wheels of my car. After that, it was off to take my sister over to the Hospital to spend the day with my mom.
A little after I dropped her off, me and my aunt went shopping for some groceries since there was absolutely no food around the house since my Mom has been gone. Talk about madness, I could hardly even move around in the store. It was like that Jingle All the Way movie with everybody trying to get the last of stuff for Thanksgiving dinner.
Then I rush over from there to pick BF up from work. All in all, I'm actually feeling pretty good and mostly over that whole cold, which is a miracle in its self, but on the way over there I got the call that my Mom was going to be released from the Hospital at about 9PM from my sister which obviously is a huge shock.
From there it was just madness trying to get things put together around the house to prepare for Thanksgiving actually HAPPENING, and that left me just enough time to drive back up to the hospital to pick up my Mom. I got home about 10PM, and didn't fall asleep until about midnight just running off the pure adrenaline of one of the biggest emotional roller coasters of a week in a good while.

Someday, I will fully give stuffing a try and see how it tastes. Not sure that today will be that day but maybe next year.

I told ya there was a chance of all of that happening. It's a THANKSGIVING MIRACLE!:D
Really glad to hear your Mom is doing better, my man.

I forget every year that you're the weirdo that's never had stuffing.
Stormtracker TF 11-22-2012, 06:27 AM Morning TF  , Happy Thanksgiving! What happened?
Happy Thanksgiving, man. Good to have you here for this.

Wow man, that is quite the night but that's really, really awesome to hear too. I'm glad your mom made it home. It's weird to say but that really is like a Thanksgiving miracle.
I also can't help but laugh picturing a Thanksgiving version of Jingle All The Way with you and your aunt attempting to get out of this grocery store unharmed.
Chad22 11-22-2012, 06:27 AM I actually didn't get to bed til roughly around midnight either TF, so don't feel too bad. That usual afternoon nap I take when I get home today is gonna come in handy.
The grocery store here was a madhouse too. I dunno WHY I chose to go grocery shopping on the day before Thanksgiving.
DA HOME GUY 11-22-2012, 06:28 AM I forget every year that you're the weirdo that's never had stuffing.
I actually had it once when it came with a TV dinner. It wasn't the worst thing in the world but it didn't really taste all that great either. I somehow would hope that stuffing not from a TV dinner would taste worlds better.
Stormtracker TF 11-22-2012, 06:29 AM I told ya there was a chance of all of that happening. It's a THANKSGIVING MIRACLE!:D
Really glad to hear your Mom is doing better, my man.
This literally is a MIRACLE. Two days ago my Mom was in the hospital and expected to be there for days, much less over Thanksgiving, and I had this crappy cold. Things had just unraveled extremely quickly.
Totally last minute, but it's gonna happen against all odds. My Mom is still really weak and tired, but my aunt is gonna be here to help us with everything so we can still have dinner. Definitely a huge amount to be thankful for this year.

You enjoy going to a madhouse of a grocery store because it brings holiday cheer of people rushing to get everything at the last minute. AKA my mom getting a ham yesterday.

I somehow knew everything would work out. As bad of a year as we've had, I expect that to start to change now. Only place to go is up, boys. Up to us to keep a positive attitude and have faith that things will change for the best.

It WAS like that, my aunt was having trouble walking so she got one of those cart things that you can drive around in the store and kept running into people LOL
Chad22 11-22-2012, 06:32 AM You enjoy going to a madhouse of a grocery store because it brings holiday cheer of people rushing to get everything at the last minute. AKA my mom getting a ham yesterday.
No, I really really don't.
It wasn't anything like the greatness of Black Friday shopping in 1999. Now THAT was awesome, as scary as it got at moments.

It almost sounds like it was out of a movie or a TV show. Knowing how important Thanksgiving is to you, it would have been incredibly sad if this didn't work out. Hopefully you and your mom both recover fully but it's awesome enough you'll all get to spend Thanksgiving together.
Chad22 11-22-2012, 06:32 AM It WAS like that, my aunt was having trouble walking so she got one of those cart things that you can drive around in the store and kept running into people LOL
LOL OH MAN
Stormtracker TF 11-22-2012, 06:33 AM You enjoy going to a madhouse of a grocery store because it brings holiday cheer of people rushing to get everything at the last minute. AKA my mom getting a ham yesterday.
I didn't even expect to have Thanksgiving at the start of yesterday, but we never got a ham. I see that more of a Christmas thing anyway, but oh well. As long as there's a Turkey.
DA HOME GUY 11-22-2012, 06:33 AM It WAS like that, my aunt was having trouble walking so she got one of those cart things that you can drive around in the store and kept running into people LOL
LOL OH MAN, even though I'm sure she did it on accident, I'm picturing her getting into this frenzy too, to get what she wants. I can easily that would be my grandmother if anyone else because she hates crowded stores.
Chad22 11-22-2012, 06:33 AM Happy Cabrera-giving!

Chad22 11-22-2012, 06:34 AM As long as there's a Turkey.
I can confirm that BF will be there.

I fully believe that. It's times like these that really get the faith going again just because it shows that not everything that glitters is gold, and just because something looks impossible at the time doesn't mean there isn't a reason for it and that it'll all work out in the end, regardless.
DA HOME GUY 11-22-2012, 06:36 AM I didn't even expect to have Thanksgiving at the start of yesterday, but we never got a ham. I see that more of a Christmas thing anyway, but oh well. As long as there's a Turkey.
One reason I'll be glad to have an at home Thanksgiving again is to have the feel of it back. My grandmother and I stick to the turkey even when we eat out but my grandfather ends up eating fish or something. While I sit there confused and saddened by this.
Stormtracker TF 11-22-2012, 06:36 AM No, I really really don't.
It wasn't anything like the greatness of Black Friday shopping in 1999. Now THAT was awesome, as scary as it got at moments.
When I was out yesterday I saw people in tents in front of places like Target and Walmart.
I guess that isn't that crazy when you consider on BF's birthday last week, I saw some crazy dude setting up a tent THEN.
Chad22 11-22-2012, 06:37 AM One reason I'll be glad to have an at home Thanksgiving again is to have the feel of it back. My grandmother and I stick to the turkey even when we eat out but my grandfather ends up eating fish or something. While I sit there confused and saddened by this.
Your Grandfather eating fish as you sit there with a sad face. :rotflmao:

Honestly, I'm just glad to have my Mom home period, forgetting Thanksgiving all together. There's a lot to be said about being under the same roof as her.
DA HOME GUY 11-22-2012, 06:37 AM Happy Cabrera-giving!

You don't get many classic songs like this anymore :(.

That sounds kinda cozy, camping out at Wal Mart.
Not worth it to miss Thanksgiving though. Unless they HAVE Thanksgiving in the tent...at Wal Mart.
Stormtracker TF 11-22-2012, 06:37 AM I can confirm that BF will be there.
I need to get him on here as soon as he wakes up, whenever that might be.
Chad22 11-22-2012, 06:38 AM Hard to believe this TFio, but tomorrow is the tenth anniversary of the day we met.
Stormtracker TF 11-22-2012, 06:38 AM LOL OH MAN, even though I'm sure she did it on accident, I'm picturing her getting into this frenzy too, to get what she wants. I can easily that would be my grandmother if anyone else because she hates crowded stores.
This is actually fairly accurate LOL
I seen this one couple fighting over a ham.
Chad22 11-22-2012, 06:39 AM You don't get many classic songs like this anymore :(.

Maybe it's me but that sounds even more awesome. Being inside of this tent as a family outside of Wal Mart eating Thanksgiving dinner. It'd be unique, that's for sure .

Reminds me of that one time my Mom and Dad thought it'd be "different" to eat this huge steak on Thanksgiving instead of Turkey in like 1998 or 1999.
This is a memory I would like to forget LOL
Stormtracker TF 11-22-2012, 06:40 AM Hard to believe this TFio, but tomorrow is the tenth anniversary of the day we met.
Insane, it should be a great Anniversary with the dawn of the Christmas season occurring.

That part with the black guy out in the yard grilling as the fireworks happen making that victorious stance made me laugh hard.

I've never heard of this but this is cozy. I'm still not a fan of this overly danceish sound but it actually fits here with the feel of the song. I'm laughing at the "EYYYY" after mentioning all of the food too  . Tempted to do this today when I get my food. LOL OH MAN at the guy grilling too.

That sounds SO weird to me.
And I'm the crazy non conformist guy that asks for birthday cookies cause he feels birthday cake is passe and predictable.

I hate dance music too, but I can't not laugh at a Thanksgiving version of Friday existing.
Even with the same random rapper guy.

 Eating a steak on Thanksgiving sounds weird too. If it's on the side that's one thing but taking out the turkey for that just sounds like it would be depressing.

I hope she makes a Christmas one too LOL.
Chad22 11-22-2012, 06:45 AM I hope she makes a Christmas one too LOL.
Only if it's a different girl, it has to be a different girl.
But the same rapper guy.
Chad22 11-22-2012, 06:46 AM Joe, is it just me, or does that Friday rapper guy look alot like that Sean guy we met in Chicago? LOL
DA HOME GUY 11-22-2012, 06:48 AM Joe, is it just me, or does that Friday rapper guy look alot like that Sean guy we met in Chicago? LOL
LOL OH MAN, he does. Like an older version of him. I wonder if this is his fate in a few years and his ultimate calling now.
Stormtracker TF 11-22-2012, 06:48 AM *About to put up my annual installment of the Stuffing Avatar*
Chad22 11-22-2012, 06:49 AM LOL OH MAN, he does. Like an older version of him. I wonder if this is his fate in a few years and his ultimate calling now.
He basically played the same role that guy did too LOL
*He shows up completely at random, does his thing, then disappears never to be seen again.*
This is how I will now remember Trip 4. Us as Rebecca Black and him as the rapper.

Us being Rebecca Black  . I'm picturing some song now about that trip with Sean making a random cameo in it. This has gotta happen someday if one of us ever makes millions, even if it's the only music video we ever make.

*He really was some type of imaginary figure that only we could see.*
Chad22 11-22-2012, 06:55 AM Yesterday I tried compressing all 64 episodes of The Pancake Boat Podcast cause of the enormous ammount of space it was taking up on my computer.
Something like 12 GB.
Chad22 11-22-2012, 06:56 AM *He really was some type of imaginary figure that only we could see.*
I believe it was TF that suggested he may have actually been the younger version/ghost of wise cigar smoking man from Trip 1 LOL

Well technically, they are videos LOL. These are the versions I put on Youtube.
I still have all of them in the unlikely event that Youtube decides to take them all down one day for whatever reason. I'd HATE to lose all of the hundreds of hours of content we have.
DA HOME GUY 11-22-2012, 07:00 AM I believe it was TF that suggested he may have actually been the younger version/ghost of wise cigar smoking man from Trip 1 LOL

That makes more sense but it's still huge. Even if it's only one other person, think about someone listening to all of those. They've probably lost their mind by now.

Dude, we could probably start our own talk radio station just airing reruns of this, The Sharpshooter and The Back To The Past-Cast and cover at least two weeks worth of airtime. Not an exaggeration.
Chad22 11-22-2012, 07:04 AM Eating these Christmas gumdrop things I got at the grocery store yesterday cause unlike TF, I'm a weak man and can't wait until later to eat. :(

Us starting a radio station  . We could have quite the station, especially around this time of year with holiday shows/reruns and cozy music playing to set the mood for the holiday.

DA HOME GUY 11-22-2012, 07:08 AM Eating these Christmas gumdrop things I got at the grocery store yesterday cause unlike TF, I'm a weak man and can't wait until later to eat. :(
Gumdrops don't really sound like they're going to spoil a meal. I'm hungry now but have nothing to eat. Safe to say, I'm going to be starving by the time we eat.

They should have her do one of these every year. Hey, isn't CM Punk going to be at the Chicago Thanksgiving Day parade? I read something about that and the idea of that sounds humorous. It won't happen but imagine him in one of those sweaters  .

He is, but unfortunately I doubt either of us will get to see that since it is just Chicago. At the rate things were going a few weeks ago, I probably felt like I WOULD be sitting there in Chicago today watching Punk on the parade.

As much as that would be horrible to not be with your family. I really wonder what Thanksgiving at the Rodeway would be like.

I was there so long they probably WOULD have considered me a part of the Rodeway family.
Chad22 11-22-2012, 07:16 AM LOL OH MAN, TF. Is Taylor holding up a giant box of stuffing, or is she actually in a costume that looks like a box of stuffing?

I have that and agree with you wholeheartedly. It will be the first thing I listen to tonight at midnight.
She needs to put out a new one though, this one has been out since like 2007 or 2008 I think. I'm pretty sure they only sell it or sold it at Target.

To be honest, the idea of spending Thanksgiving anywhere but either here or with you guys somewhere sounds like the most depressing thing ever, regardless of the weather.
If we were all in Chicago, it wouldn't be so bad. That'd be fun actually.

I remember that night very well. We were about to get the first snow of the year and it was starting to snow a little when we were posting those themes.
This Thanksgiving could not be much more different in that regard, the all time record for Thanksgiving is 65 and we're expecting a high of 62. A little nudge and we could tie or break it.

I remember just about everything about that year.
Us doing this for the first time for no real reason, those ABC shows coming on in the afternoon, me watching the Even Stevens Movie that night on Disney Channel, us watching all those random 70's TV openings long before Youtube ever existed, and me eating so much that I actually DID wake up in vomit the next morning and very likely could have died.
Good times.

I'm just glad to be here and have my Mom here. I feel like I've spent the majority of the last 3 days outside away from home except to sleep.
I'm sure one day when we're all living in the same neighborhood, we'll probably all leave for our family's houses and be in the same boat. And from there we'll get on here and have our traditional Thanksgiving morning.

Besides, I've lived here for so long now I don't think I'll ever forget every last detail, good AND bad, about this house. It's been so long I almost want out of here just for that sole reason.

Chad22 11-22-2012, 08:31 AM I know, man. 10 years. Kids who were born on that day are 10 years old now. Soon they'll be teenagers. http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa5/CDoody/PeterVanFace.gif
The most depressing part of this is that some of those kids born in 2002 probably have better dating lives than we do.

I LOVED Grandma and Grandpa on there. They were my favorite parts.
I can't remember the name of that short guy right now, but that one episode where he admits to liking large women and puts up hundreds of posters of some plus-sized model on his walls makes me laugh much harder now than I did back then LOL

Such a classic day in our history.
I don't think it started there though, I'm pretty sure we were on at 5 AM that year and that was the start of this tradition. I think it was just in some normal thread though.
We didn't know what this would become yet.

In a sense that is depressing on our end but it also is depressing on their end to think of losing your innocence that young. When I was 10 years old the last thing on my mind was going out on a date.

That actually is exactly what happened. I can't find the thread, but I think it was in one of those SPAM JAM things and you told me to make an official Thanksgiving party thread or something, so I did.

Not me. I've liked girls since as far back as I can remember.
I remember in kindergarten I used to sit behind this really cute girl and kept touching her all day. Not inappropriately, just you know, touching her. Girls fascinated me, especially cute ones like her.
One time she turned around and hit me. This set the tone for the rest of my life.

I coulda sworn though that we started doing the 5 AM thing in 2003. I remember us on MSN the night before talking about doing it.

I have no idea but considering I went to bed at like 2:30AM I guess that was really early.
I KNOW for a fact we got up at 5AM in 2004, though. I remember creating that original Stove Top avatar at like midnight and rushing to try to get to bed so I could get up on time. I guess we just remembered it as being up earlier than we actually were in 2003, so we got up even earlier in 2004.

Plus, I'm not totally sure I'd fly home for Thanksgiving since it's very expensive to fly to Maine and I'd have to do it again the next month for Christmas.
