The Mindy Project sounds like some high school video art project. Or worse, this was a working title until they could create one, however no one could figure out what to call the show, so they kept it as "The Mindy Project".

I have not seen it. Is it any good? Seems like a show about a girl looking for romance, which is not my type of show. Besides, it seems of a Kelly Kapoor has her own series. Kelly was good for a few minutes, but can she carry a whole show?

Kelly Kapoor (The Office) and Dr. Mindy Lahari (Mindy Project) are nothing alike. Mindy's charachter Dr. Lahari is an OBGYN doctor. The show revolves around her friends and collegues in the office. It is a good and funny show.
