Interesting. Just watched that episode - had never seen it before. HOWEVER, that actually isn't the one. In "Troll", Sam has an outage that requires an emergency overhaul; the episode I have in mind, as stated, is merely a routine witchcraft spruce-up. No power failures, just a requirement to have it polished.
