Magda stood plastered to the side of a building with hr gun drawn. Jinny was about a block away. They had to surround this guy. They had been waiting to long to catch him. He deserved to be back on death row. Thomas Jenkins was his name. A convicted mass murderer who escaped from prison 2 months ago. Everytime anyone was about to catch him, he managed to slip away. Magda listened carefully. He was back there alright. Sneaking around in an alley. 'He thinks he's lost us... HA' Magda thought. She spun around and pointed her gun directly at him.
"FREEZE! SFPD! Put your hands above your head!" Magda yelled. He didn't put his hands above his head... At all. he drew his gun and pointed it at her.
"Nice try!" he said. His gun wasn't actually loaded but he was the only person who knew that.
"look bud, I'm gonna give you to the count of 3 to drop the gun----- 1!!!!!" She started.
"You don't have the guts to shoot me!" He said 'What the hell?' he thought 'Their gonna give me lethal injection anyway!'
"2!!!!" He didnt move... "LOOK YOU ARE REALLY TESTING MY PATIENCE HERE!!! Now I dont want to kill you now... So Just put down the gun... You have one more count left."
"... Who cares they;re gonna kill me anyway!" he said.
"THREE!!!!!!!!!!" Magda fired but he jumped when she said 3 and it missed him. It was dark and she could not see into the alley very far, but she heard something.
"Who's there!?" she yelled... She turned on her flashlight.
"It's me.... O God,,, You shot me..."
"Omg JINNY!"

"Yeah, it's me, Jinny! So what? You just gonna stand there and not help me?" "OMG! Jinny I am so sorry!" Magda snaps out of her shocked state and runs over to where Jinny is. "Where did I shoot you?" She asks. "First off why the hell did you shoot me?" Jinny yells. "I didn't know you were there! Where did it hit you? ANSWER ME!" Jinny rolls her eyes, "My stomach." Mag gasps, "I did? EW! OMG! Jinny I am so sorry!" "Yeah so I've heard" Jinny replies sarcastically, holding her stomach, " So, ummm, you gonna help me or call someone?" "Is it really bad?" Mag asks. "Well it wasn't but yeah, it has been since you have done nothing to help except make me talk to you and lose energy!" Magda takes a deep breath and gets out her cell phone, "OK, sorry, AGAIN! I'm calling, I'm calling for help you just sit down and rest k?" Jinny obeys and leans up against the building wall and closes her eyes and holds her stomach. Its not bleeding that much but is damageable.

A short while later the ambulance arrives and Jinny is taken to the hospital and taken away to surgery. Magda is left to sit in the office and call Kate and tell her what has happened.

"Capt. It's magda..."
"Hey magda.. Whatsup? How'd the arrest go?" Captain asked.
"it went bad, the guy got away and I shot Jinny." Magda said.
"You what???" Captain said in that "WTF!@?" voice.
"yeah she was somewhere behind the guy and he jumped when I shot and it missed him and hit her!" Magda said "This is ALL my fault... I should have checked to see if she were there."
"It's NOT your fault... if she alright?"
"I don't know... I hit her in the stomach (cap mumbles "geezus.." in the background) and she's in surgery... she could be dead for all I know." Magda said.
"Don't say that... I'll be there right away... Call my cell if anything happens in the 5 minites it will actuallu take me to get there." Captain hung up and drove to the hospital going about 60 MPH in a 15 MPH school zone... But it didn't matter because she's a cop and she can do whatever she wants... Untyil someone notices that is. A patrol officer pulled behind her whith the whole lights and sirens thing so she pulled over.
"Excuse me Ma'am.." He said "But you were going about 4 times the speed limit. I'll need to see some ID." He said. Kate handed him her wallet and he opened it up. "CAPTAIN! Hi... Oh you changed your hair it looks so nice!"
"Shut up." Captain said as she took back her badge and drove away very very fast again.
'Not to self: Fire him.' she thought.
