Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. A very good book. You might not like it though because just about everyone in my grade hated it.

Lately? I read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire... I'm reading The Golden Compass for a second time; it's a really great book. Oh, and right now in English we're reading A Tale of Two Cities. It's pretty good so far, but I'm only on the first chapter of Book the Second.

I just finished reading The Business of Fancydancing by Sherman Alexie and Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca's La Relacion. Both for a class, and I had to write papers on them! :p I also had to read The Gender of Sexuality

Coming up for classes, I have to read:
The Flivver King
Beloved
So Far From God
Two Years in the Melting Pot
Political Process and the Development of Black Insurgency, 1930-1970
and
White Weddings: Romancing Heterosexuality in Popular Culture

....maybe I'll let you know how they were when I'm done ;)

I've been reading a series for awhile now. It is now up to it's 16th book. It is a series by Sue Grafton. They are mystery books that follow the cases of a female private eye named Kinsey Millhone. The 16th book was just realeased on hardback called "P" is for Peril.

The series follows the alphabet. Here are the books:

"A" is for Alibi
"B" is for Burglar
"C" is for Corpse
"D" is for Deadbeat
"E" is for Evidence
"F" is for Fugitive
"G" is for Gumshoe
"H" is for Homicide
"I" is for Innocent
"J" is for Judgment
"K" is for Killer
"L" is for Lawless
"M" is for Malice
"N" Is for Noose
"O" Is for Outlaw
"P" is for Peril

"G" is for Grafton is also a new book that is out. It is kinda like a biography of Kinsey Millhone.

You can find out about her books at her webpage:

Someone once talked about this book series back a lil while ago. (It may have been you...I don't remember)

I'd really like to read those. But I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Also, like ks asked, could you tell me a lil bout those books you were talkin' bout Karli? It would be really helpful. :)

I also read mainly mysteries by Mary Higgins Clark. Right now I'm reading a book by her. It has a little bit of a different turn than the rest of her books that I have read. BTW, its called "He Sees You When You Are Sleeping". It's really good so far.

It probably was :D

When I first started reading them, I found them at Wal-Mart. Now I usually buy them on the web or go to Barnes & Nobles whenever I go into town.
