Did he forget he was a family man? What else will kids say if their father comes home and says he got a raise? He acted like he planned on spending that extra money on himself after he announced it

You can't come home as a dad and tell your kids you got a raise and not epect them to expect something. Looks like he should have just kept the news to himself since it was only 15 dollars:lol:

Maybe he could have gotten them each a small, inexpensive gift that they needed or wanted. And he could have gotten Florida a bottle of perfume or something. This way, if he came home with a few gifts, nobody would be expecting anything else. But since he just announced his raise and didn't have any gifts, it's no surprise that the kids would want something. Sometimes James was a real bonehead.
