Brieannas21 08-26-2012, 12:37 AM they all go to the Central Cafe for the last time...............right? No, we never see them in the coffee shop again. TVFactFan 08-26-2012, 12:48 AM No, we never see them in the coffee shop again. Well what the hell is the purpose of the DVD? Brieannas21 08-26-2012, 01:01 AM Well what the hell is the purpose of the DVD? To watch. I believe Central Perk was the first part of the set that was taken down, so they couldn't shoot the last scene in Central Perk. It would have been nice to end it at the Coffee shop but the real heart of the sitcom was Monica's apartment. I loved the ending, I think it would have been a bit corny ending it at the coffee shop, it would have been expected. TVFactFan 08-26-2012, 01:05 AM To watch. Brieannas21 08-26-2012, 01:08 AM So there are no NEW scenes on the DVD that was not seen on NBC? New scenes? Like other unedited DVD's? The only one I can think of is the one that was edited due to Sept 11th. TVFactFan 08-26-2012, 01:10 AM New scenes? Like other unedited DVD's? The only one I can think of is the one that edited due to Sept 11th. For current shows, when they are releases on DVD, there are scenes that are on the DVD that was not shown on Network TV For example the Office has tons of scenes on the DVD that I never saw on NBC Brieannas21 08-26-2012, 01:18 AM For current shows, when they are releases on DVD, there are scenes that are on the DVD that was not shown on Network TV For example the Office has tons of scenes on the DVD that I never saw on NBC Cut scenes, I'm sure there are some, I've never compared the DVD's to syndicated episodes and I can't compare them to NBC origninal episodes because I didn't tape those  . Like I said the only one that I can think of is the Episode that was cut due to Sept 11th. That is the only one that comes to mind. At least that's how I remember it. TVFactFan 08-26-2012, 01:25 PM I thought the last scene of Friends ended with them all walking down the hall in their apartment building. At least that's how I remember it. It did but I was hoping it was something extra on the DVD because I refused to accept that a 10 year sitcom can end with them walking down the hall Brieannas21 08-26-2012, 03:28 PM It did but I was hoping it was something extra on the DVD because I refused to accept that a 10 year sitcom can end with them walking down the hall Well accept it  it ended with the camera panning the apartment. The End  TVFactFan 08-26-2012, 03:35 PM Well accept it  it ended with the camera panning the apartment. The End  Worst ending of a sitcom in TV history:lol: Brieannas21 08-26-2012, 03:43 PM Worst ending of a sitcom in TV history:lol: It was better than The Jeffersons. TVFactFan 08-26-2012, 03:52 PM It was better than The Jeffersons. You can't compare to the Jeffersons because that show didn't have a finale You can only compare it to Alice One Day at a Time Mash Cheers cosby Show Brieannas21 08-26-2012, 03:59 PM You can't compare to the Jeffersons because that show didn't have a finale My point exactly. I think Friends ended the way it should have. It wasn't the worst ending. I can tell you some sitcom endings that stunk. |
