That's because she felt she had to separate herself from all the other unemployed people because people look down on you when you have no job. So she was trying to come in and show that she is not your typical unemployed person

I don't like being around other unemployed people because I get put in a group which is why I never ever went to a job fair. No way in hell would I be standing in line on the news to get in a building to hear NOTHING:lol: :lol:

I think that is just your own insecurities, If you're unemployed that doesn't always mean that it is your fault that you're unemployed. People are fired or laid off every day for reasons that aren't their fault.

Nope, Job fairs are great to go to because you have a lot of Businesses in one location and you have a better chance of talking to HR face to face, some do interviews on the spot. There have been people who were hired on the spot at job fairs. My aunt was laid off from DISD last year, she went to a job fair that another district was having and she walked out with offers.

Exactly! Whitley deserved to be checked. There was a major contrast between Whitley's personality and the no nonsense city worker. I thought that worked well and sparked some drama.

There was no excusing Whitley for sashaying her way in front of a whole line of people while wearing a fur coat, as if she was too good to be at the unemployment office or too good to wait in line, thinking that she was better than everyone else who was there. She was in the same situation they were in. There is never a good reason to look down on people no matter the situation because she was broke and looking for a job just like everyone else who were there.

Having that kind of an attitude will hurt rather than help you. If she was in the same situation as everyone else in the place, what made her think that she was better? Walking in a place the way she did, acting as if her sh*it don't stink did not help her at all. The same people you look down on will be the same people you'll be looking up at asking for help.

Exactly! Suppose everyone thought like that? Whitley needed a touch of reality.

To me it didn't matter that Claims Officer #5 was prepared to be nasty. Whether she was prepared or not, it worked well with Whitley's attitude. I think that CO#5 would have been less nasty if Whitley didn't pull that stunt. CO#5 obviously had Whitley's number since she'd been doing that line of work for a time.
