I posted this question a few days ago, and nobody really saw it because it was buried among several other threads . I decided to work back in, partly to push it up to the front of the line, and partly to answer my own question . In the past few days, I learned that Henry Blake was from Bloomington, Indiana, and Father Mulcahy was from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania . That leaves "Trapper John" McIntyre . Where was "Trapper John" McIntyre from ?

Charles Emerson Winchester and "Trapper John" McIntyre were both members of Boston's medical community . Imagine Charles Emerson Winchester and "Trapper John" McIntyre somehow meeting .

Henry Blake was from Bloomington, Illinois, not Indiana. He went to the University of Illinois (his I sweater) and met his wife Lorraine at Illinois Normal College.
