let'swatchtv 07-03-2012, 04:33 PM well since Mr. Griffith passed away today at the age of 86 i want to do a battle of two of Andy Griffith's classic hit shows The Andy Griffith Show & Matlock now i know these are two different genres in the entertainmanet world of course The Andy Griffith Show is a good-hearted sitcom while Matlock was more of a hard-boiled law drama but which do you think Andy Griffith shine in the most?
let me know by your honest votes and comments below

R.I.P
ANDREW SAMUEL "ANDY" GRIFFITH

I was born in 1982.So,i just never really saw it much.Except for once in awhile on Nick at nite.I thought it was funny. But i just haven't seen enough. To really get into it.
Mr. Television 07-03-2012, 05:19 PM I liked both shows but I think TAGS was one of the best sitcoms of all time. All the characters just flowed together and Andy was the perfect man to be at the center of it all.

Aunt Bee 10-24-2012, 11:30 PM I never watched Matlock, but since The Andy Griffith Show is my all time favorite show I have to say Andy Griffith shined in the show after the same name.

I figured you would say TAGS for which of course is an-all time classic.
and not to be rude but as for your "Matlock" problem I suggest that you may want to by the DVD's to see it or maybe see the reruns on WGN or someting like that.
