I'm a fan of Keeping Up Appearances -- the cast is wonderful!!
I've read that Patricia Routledge did a second series -- Hetty Wainthropp Investigates.
Has anyone seen any episodes??

I've seen them and while there were some Hyacinth moments here and there, IMO, they were somewhat disappointing. Oh, and they featured Dominic Monaghan in his first role as a teen shoplifter Hetty recruited to help her with the legwork.
They were disappointing to me for the reason that conclusions were abruptly reached and what became of the perps/victims often got swept under the rug for Hetty to be able to pull some kind of antic at the end.

I liked Hetty Wainthropp just for the fact that Patricia Rutledge was in it. I thought the stories were entertaining but not as good as KUA. BTW my ten year old daughter loves KUA.

Thank you both for your reviews -- they are much appreciated.
Maybe I will see if my local bookstore can order just a few episodes -- doesn't sound like I want to go overboard.
Happy to hear that ten-year-olds enjoy KUA -- it is a funny show!
Thanx again. Lee

The PBS station here occasionally shows it.It's an OK show,a bit of a light drama with a little humor mixed in.Keep in mind though the character she plays and the show is nothing like Hyacinth and "Keeping Up Appearances".
