Cabin Fever Prequel Gets Director; Early Art Revealed

The first of two planned additional Cabin Fever films has infected a director.
Heat Vision reports that Kaare Andrews (ALTITUDE) will helm the upcoming prequel to Eli Roth's 2002 flesh eating virus flick entitled Cabin Fever: Patient Zero.
Written by Jake Wade Wall, of AMUSEMENT and THE HITCHER remake, Patient Zero sees the flesh-eating virus strike the passengers of a Caribbean cruise ship after it collides with an abandoned research vessel.
This will lead into Cabin Fever: Outbreak, set on a tropical island, where much to the inhabitants' chagrin, it's not the flu.
Additionally, Shock Till You Drop unearthed some early sales art for Patient Zero.
