Ralph Kramden, a NY Giant fan? (Part 5) (The championship parade)
(Ralph & Ed are in attendance watching the NY Giants championship parade down the Canyon of Heroes section in New York.)
Ed: “What a parade. This parade was long overdue.”
Ralph: “Yes. It’s been too long since New York has had a championship parade. The last time it was the NY Yankees winning their World Series. That was two and years and three months. Now, it’s the Giants turn.”
Ed: “Hey, I think I see that crazy female Giants fan named Reby Sky. She is scandilly-dressed huh? Va-va-va-voom!”
(Ralph sees her.)
Ralph: “Oooooh, she’s the good one.”
Ed: “It’s too bad that the Giants didn’t win here in New York. I don’t hate Indianappolis but it would be nice if they won in MetLife Stadium.”
Ralph: “Yeah, let’s hope when the Super Bowl is held here in 2004, the Giants win. But, I wouldn’t mind if they won the Super Bowl again in Miami Beach. I heard that the Miami Beach audiences are the greatest in the world.”
(Audience cheers.)
Ralph: “Incidentally, how did you get out of work?”
Ed: “Who am I going to call? I just wrote a note saying that I wouldn’t be in and dropped it down the nearest manhole.”
Ralph: “I told my boss. He was all right with it. But that Joe Fenstablau, he was upset that the Giants won. He said that I was the biggest Giants fan of all. Am I really the biggest Giants fan of all?”
Ed: “Well, Ralph you are the biggest Giant fan of all…literally.”
Ralph (yells): “OKAY NORTON! PUT ‘EM UP! PUT ‘EM UP!”
(Everyone in the crowd tries to control the situation.)
Eli Manning: “Look at that fat guy trying to hurt that skinny guy.”
Tom Coughlin: “That guy needs to go on a diet soon.”
(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)
Jackie: “Thank you. Time to introduce the cast. First, Eli Manning.”
(The audience applauds as Eli comes on stage and shakes Jackie’s hand.)
Jackie: "Oooh boy, what a grip.”
(Audience laughs.)
Jackie: “Tom Coughlin."
(The audience applauds as Tom comes on stage and shakes Jackie’s hand.)
Jackie: "Art Carney."
(The audience applauds as Art comes on stage and shakes Jackie's hand.)
Jackie: "The Miami Beach audiences are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!"
(Audience cheers.)
