The TNN epsiodes aren't that bad, while they were sped up, they only cut about a minute or so from each episode.

It doesn't matter if it was a minute or so which is still false because they cut more than that, it was that TNN would go to a commercial when a character was still talking.

Ion was so bad that I stopped watching the show on it and I was a fan of Alice. lol

I stopped watching too because of the QUALITY-lol It had nothing to do with the edits but the quality was so damm bad that the show was so unwatchable-lol

The eps from ION wasn't even worth keeping because not only was the editing awful, the quality was actually worst. Every episode looked like a VHS Copy that ION received from somewhere else:lol:

Way too much, I may have to wait to by that. I paid that amount for Different Strokes 3 days ago because it was $21.99 and I got 1 day shipping because I wanted it before saturday.

I agree that it is expensive (if i paid for it, but I have Amazon gcs earned through various projects) but considering this is made to order DVD set, I guess they fill justified in the price.

Not sure because it was in a good time slot....7pm to 8pm. Maybe it will see new life on Antenna TV.

I remember watching Alice on TNN and later on ION. The threads discussing ION and it's horrible editing are funny. Can anyone post a link to youtube that shows Alice on TNN? I want to see how the show was sped up. I don't remember TNN messing with the show that way. Not saying it didn't happen, I just don't remember. I want to check that out. ION was the worse. I wish I had been around here to throw in my two cents about the editing and the horrible overall look. I felt like I needed to put an icebag over my eyes after watching it on ION because the blurriness of the show hurt my eyes.

I was going to start a Alice collection on ION but the eps were too crappy

I am enjoying my season one set and I think the episodes look great considering they were from videotape!
