Its been a while since ive done one all on my own... please read and review peeps!

Tuesday, January 22, 11:09 AM: Its a fairly nice day in sanfransisco. Cool but not cold, a slight breeze, and partly cloudy.

Magda sat at her desk in The Division, somewhat oblivious to the world around her. She was finishing up some paperwork for a case that her and Jin solved... Of course Jinny did absolutly no paperwork. 'She might be sober' Magda thought 'But she's still Lazy as hell'. Magda finished the last bit of work and looked up, Jinny wasn't there. She figured she was in the bathroom and just sat there doing nothing and daydreaming. She tried to Imagine her life married to gabriel, and her life not married to him. They both seemed to have the same outcome, the same good things happened and the same good things happened, but with Gabriel she had someone to share the good and bad things with... But still she had some reservations, and she knew until she figured out what they were, that marrying gabe would be a mistake... You know how when you daydream, you can sit there for a half hour thinking then snap out of it and only think you've been out of it for 30 seconds? Well thats what happened to magda. When she finally realized that she was in the division and not at Bens college graduation, she also realized Jinny still wasn't there. She figured she aughta see if she really was in the bathroom, and besides, she had to go herself. She got up and walked down the hall and into the bathroom... Jinny was sitting on the bench lost in thought... completely oblivious to time like magda was.
"Jinny? Hey Jin" Magda said, snapping Jinny out of her trance.
"Hmm, oh hi." Jinny replied
"Jin, You've been in here for like, a half hour" Mag said.
"Oh really?... I was just thinking." Jinny stated staring at a corner.
"Bout what??"
"Nothing important." Jinny answered.
"Oh comeon, it had to be a little important... you speant a half hour thinking about it." Magda said.
"Magda... I..." Jinny cut herself off and looked away from mag at the opposit wall.
"Comeon Jin you can tell me whats wrong." Magda said with an understanding tone in her voice, which came from being a mother and always saying "Comeon, you can tell me anything".
"I started drinking again..." Jinny made no eye contact.
Magda got a very dissapointed look on her face "Why? You were doing so well!"
"I just couldn't take it anymore! My dad always has alcohol in the house and its everywhere I go!" Jinny began to cry "I was trying so hard... I just cant do anything right!
"Jinny dont talk that way... You sayed sober for 3 months, now what makes you think you cant just... pretend you never started drinking again and try for 6 months!?"
"Because it'll just be a constant cycle! Get sober, get drunk! Get sober get drunK!" Jiny began "Honestly, its not worth stressing out over anyway. I've been just fine these past two weeks... And if I get sober again Ill just get drunk again... I'll just keep going in circles!" ok more?

It's been so long since I've heard people say Ur fan fic rox... Ah, I forgot how good it felt.

"Jinny... You know... honestly... ur being pretty stupid I mean, what do you want to happen this time!?!? You wanna get fired!? Or get in an accident!? Or get aids or something!?" Mag was somewhat ticked...
"Don't you even start with me Mag... I'm not in the mood for a "Booze is Bad" lacture from you... I got onna those at that god forsaken intervention!" Jinny got up and left the bathroom and went back to her desk. She pretended she was writing something but in reality she was drawing little squiggly lines and stick figures. When Magda got back from the bathroom she sat all the paperwork that wasnt done on Jinnys desk.
"Ok I know youve only been back 2 and a half weeks but... Well Im tired of doing everything, its ur turn.." she pointed to the stick figured drawn on jinnys calendar. "Your friends can help you."
Jinny decided not to argue it, she really didnt want to hear Magda be all mad today. She scribbled word on the paper so fast it was barely legible... But she didnt really care, cops and doctors werent supposed to have nice handwritng anyway. Captain walked by and kinda grabbed Jinnys hand to stop her from writing.
"Uhh, your gonna kinda have to do that over. I cant read it and I doubt anyone else will be able to... I doubt you can read it."
"I can..." Jinny squinted at the paper. "Uhh... Approx. Time of Death... Ummm... I think it says 1:05 but it might be a seven..." she dug througha bunch of papers and found one that she had written everything down on. "No... No its a seven... I think... I cant read this either."
"7:05 AM" Magda said.
"Well at least somebody knows what goin on around here... And besides, all of you, your shifts are over and I'm supposed to cut back on everyones overtime so go away before that guy get here." Captain said.
"Oh I'm free." Jinny threwthe papers in a manilla folder and shoved them into the top drawer of her desk. She walked out singing "No more overtime", a song she wrote. Magda was still putting everything in a neat orderly file.
"Captain?" she said "Can I have a word with you?"
"In my office"
Mag got up and went in and told captain that Jinny was drinking again.
"... so dont be surprised if she comes in late everyday or does something stupid like that." Magda finished.
"I really thought she was serious about quitting." Capt said sorta dissapointed. She expected that Jinny would go back to drinking as soon as she was out of rehab. Meanwhile, Jinny was about 5 miles away at a bar that nobody at the division ever goes to.

MMMMMOOOOORRRRREEEE!!!

In the few hours Jinny spent at the bar she got herself much drunker then usual... It had been a while since she got herself drunk drunk... She didnt want to admit it to herself but it felt better to be sober... At first being drunk felt ok but about an hour into it she just wanted it to all go away. Usually when she drank she was oblivious to real life but this time she was just sitting there about to pass out, loathing her self for her stupidity. She still wasnt extally sure when she wanted to be, sober or drunk. Both had their strong points. Being sober made her feel better about herself... And gave her a better sense of reality... Before rehab she was always just a little drunk... Because she was always drinking. Pretty much every day on the job... Made her feel pretty weak... Being controlled by a bottle... And sobriety made her feel like she was a touch as she acted. But sobriety was hard. There wasnt a time when she didnt think about alcohol... And being drunk was equally hard... But good in a way. She didn't have to worry about what she said or did wrong because she could always blame it on the alcohol. Of course, she didnt admit it to other people but in her own mind she didnt do anything wrong, the alcohol did. She took the last sip of her drink and got up but kinda slid back down again
"Damnit..." she slurred as she made a succesfull attemt at stnadint up. She held onto the wall and made it to the door. She walked down the street holding onto the sides of buildings for support. As she reached an alleyway she felt someone pull her into the alley... Not really very forcefully but then again, in her condition somebody could have touched her on the shoulder and she would have fallen over
"Hey Jin.. Long time no see..." The man said.
"No... Go away" Jinny could barely get the words out, much less stand up She couldn't push him away, she eeded to hold on to him to keep from falling.
"Oh come on now Jin..." He said "Remember how much fun we had last time we saw each other" Jinny was drunk but she remembered exactly what happened.
"You... You had fun... Not... me" Jinny tried her best to speak straight.
"Just come with me... I promise you you'll have the time of your life!" he said she he moved her toward his car... She tried to fight him but after about 5 seconds she passed out, so he just pushed her into the backseat and drove off. He drove a blue Mercedes that was about 10 years old, with custome liscense plated that read JOE.

9hours later Jinny woke up... Well almost woke up. She kept her eyes closed for about 5 minutes. She had forgotten eveything and assumed she was at home in her bed. She stayed still to avoid any sudden splitting headaches. After she layed there for a while she figured she aughta get up and at least try to go to work. She tried to rub her eyes but her left arm wouldnt move. She treid to move it again and relized there was something around her wrist. She opened her eyes and scremed when she relized she was handcuffed to a bed, in an apartment that looked like it had burned down and was abandones 30 years sgo. it was very very big and there was no furniture, except for the bed, no flooring, no walpaper paint. Just sooty walls with alot of water damage. There was one window, which had boards over it allowing only enough light to give the room a nice grayish glow to come through. The bed was in good condition though... Actually it was a water bed. Jinny figured that the bed was there for a reason, and that reason wasnt to sleep. She tried to get loose but the handcuffs were on pretty tight. To top that off they were hers. She heard someone come up the stairs and down the hallway, And come into the room.
"I see you're up... Acutally I heard you were up.. You scream loud." Joe said.
"It's you..." Jinny said in disbeliefe. "DAMNIT! Let me out of here now!"
"Why? What are you gonna do?" Joe held up her gun and waved it in the air "Hold me a gunpoint and arrest me? HAHA! Nice try"
"They'll find you. Pretty soon the entire police force will be looking!" Jinny knew that wasnt true. Chances are they'd just assume she were in a motel somewhere... Which she may have been. She wasn't sure. "What time is it?" she asked
"I dont know and I dont care... Its like about 1 PM..." he said, then he got this weird looking evil smile on his face "SO how long shall we make this last?"
"Make what last?" Jinny knew what he was tlaking about,
"You know." He jumped onto the bed "I'd say a good... Two hours for now." He grabbed her and pushed her down... She tried to fight him but he had obviosly taken some self defense lessons before, she couldnt fight him off.

Meanwhile, Magda was searching for her. Not extensively, Just at her dads house and around there, and in the bars, but she was nowhere. Magda thought at first that she souldn't tell capt about it, but then she remembered what happened last time she did that and she decided to tell her. She drove back to the division and in approximatly 5 seconds parked her car, plowed some poor rookie getting inside, ran up 2 flights of stairs and pretty much ran right into captain.
"Cap Jinnys gone..." She said out of breath.
"Uhh yeah? Shes prolly at a motel.
"yeah but captain... Remember when she had the flu and I took a day off?"
"Yeah."
"Ok well Jin didnt have the flu, I was out looking for her, she was raped, then takes to a hospital, then beat up people and taken to jail... We have to find her before she ends up getting herself in a mess like that again." Mag pleaded.
"Well in that case yes. You're in charge of this. You can have my job for a while... And I'll take yours." Cap replied.
"Huh?" mag said.
"Jinny is one of my best inspectors and... yeah well ok i think of her as a freind, and I am gonna help with this case... Whats my assignment?"
"Uhh... Work with CD... Because nates not here and check all the local bars and see is anyones seen her. Call me if anything comes up" Mag said. Capt nodded and took CD, explaining this whole ordeal to her as they left.
"Raina, ready for a real job?" Mag asked.
"YES! I'll help you find her, she's cool, I like her. I dont like rapists lets go" She said very quickly.
"Well i guess I dont have to explain the stiuation to you... Comeon."

After joe "finished" with Jinny he spent a good hour pacing around the room trying to figure out what to do... he couldnt let her go. She'd run right down to her little division and get his ass in trouble. Jinny just glared at him, and she scared him a little. This wasnt the first time he'd raped somebody but he was used to the women getting all scared and begging to leave and crying... Jinny looked like she was ready to literally bite his head off. He fiured he'd lock her in, and stay in a room on the first floor for now. He went over to the door and then tossed Jinny the handcuff key, then quickly locked the door as she unlocked ther handcufs. She pounded on the door to try to get him to come back but she got no response. She thought she could maybe climb out the window. But when she loked through a crack in the wood she realized she was on probably the 13th story.
"Oh my god.." Jinny said to herself. "I'm trapped." She dat down on the bed. "Nobodys comeing to get me." she thought, "They wont even realize I'm gone until at least tomorow.. Damnit"

Meanwhile Captain and CD were at a bar in downtown Oakland. Them and Magda and raina had checked pretty much every bar in the san fran area they'd expect Jinny to go to.
"Excuse me..." CD said to the bartender "Have you seen this woman?" She showed the bartender the same picture that Mag used the first time this had happened.
"Yes" the bartender said. She was a short woman with blond hair who looked like she belonged in "Hooters" "She was in here last night."
"Did you see her leave with anyone" capt asked
"No she just stumbled out... Come to think of it she didnt pay either." The bartender answered.
"Are you sure?" CD asked hoping she was right... if she was right then chaces were Jinny was just passed out somewhere and nobody had hurt her, on the other hand she could have been abducted after she left.
"I'm sure... But uh... She went that was " The woman pointed out the window and down the street "If thats any help."
"Yes... Thankyou. Well be back if we need anything else... Or call us if you remember anything" she handed the woman her buisness card and left.
"Somewhere that way." Capt pointed. "So that pretty much means anywhere from here to New Jersey.
"Well... Yeah..." Cd said. Captain was right. She could be anywhere... She could be at her dads house sleeping now, or she could be in new jersey... drowning or something. "Maybe we should call her dad to make sure she didnt show up."
"Alright" Captain said. She took outher cell and called Jins dad. She hadnt shown up. He didnt know exactly what happened with the rape in the past but he was worried sick. Kate tried to assure him everything would be alright but he wouldnt buy it
"Captain when I was a cop I said that to every person whos relative went missing" he said "And usually they ended up dead, raped, neaten, or just never got found"
"Well I'm not going to let that happen ok... I will find her even if I die trying ok?" Captain said... But she ot no real reply just a "Yeah" and then John hung up on her, not to be rude really, he just didn't want to talk. CD could tell from what capt said that he hadnt seen her.

Back at the abandones burnt down hell hole Jin was stuck in, Jinny was just sitting on the wondowcill stareing out. She assumed it was about 6 because the sun was starting to set... She heard someone open the door behind her. It was Joe. She almost got up to attack him but he took out eh gun, and she sat back down. He threw a pizza box on the bed.
"I thought you might want some food... I didnt know what you lied so I just got some extra cheese from pizza hut..." He said.
"When did you leave???"
"Like 3 minutes ago, theres a pizza hut across the street."
".......... So, you kidnap me... Rape me... Lock me in a room for 3 hours... And buy me pizza? WTF is up with that?" This whole situation was getting a little retarted. He didnt answer her. Her just put the gun back in his pocket and turned to leave, Jinny tried to run out the door before him but her punched her, then locked the door again... Once again Jinny pretty much tried to break the door down but it didn't work. So she once again planted herself on the bed. 'I dont believe, he ot me pizza..." she thought over and over. Eventually she ate once slice, but that was just because she thought she was gonna die if she didnt eat. Besides, what guarentee was there that he was gonna even give her anymore food?

Meanwhile the gang had met back at the station.
"Look its 7 now... In one hour we can start a missing persons report. We'll put all the police stations in the area on alert.* Captain said.
"Well what if shes not in the area anymore!?" Magda said impatiently.
"I think its a little premature to put the entire country on alert! Give it some time... We don't even know if anything bad happened, she could be fine." Captain said reassuringly. "If she doesnt turn up soon well put everyone everywhere on alert..."
"Your treayting this like any old case!" Mag said.
"... I'm doing the best I can. I dont think there's anything else we can do."

Back at hell hole central Jinny was listening through the air vents to see if she could hear anything. She didnt actually hear anything other than what she figured was a mouse. It hadf gotten dark out and the room was pitch black. Jow could havebeen standing 2 feet infront of her and she wouldnt have known it. She heard someone come into the room.
"Why wont you let me go home?" Jinny asked.
"Because, If I were to let you go now, you'd run home and tell on me, and Id get arrested and prolly get a life senrence for sexual assault... And considering you;re a police woman Id prolly be in deep ****." Jow replyed.
"Yeah... You would." Jinny felt joe put his hand on her shoulder. She turned and kicked, her eyes had adjusted to the carkness a little so she could kinda see him. She knocked him off his balance. When he hit the ground Jinnys gun, which he was holding, went off. There was silence for a few seconds before anyone spoke.
"Jinny?" Joe said... He wasnt sure if He had killed her. He got no response. the first thing that crossed his mind was "Killed cop... Death penalty..." Jinny infact was still alive, just in shock. She was hit by the bullet in the arm Right through the middle of it, She was still processing this information in her brain... Once she finally snapped back into reality she screamed from the pain.
Joe yelled "OMG!" it was shocking, he thought she was dead. Jinny was sobbing so hard you couldnt understand what she was saying. It wasnt really because it hurt that bad, but she was just so mad at him she thought she was going to explode... She just kept calling him a bastard and saying she was going to kill him over and over. She punched him really hard and knocked him out cold. She ran over to the door but it was locked... And she couldnt find the key. She searched him over and over but he didnt have it. She figured the idiot forgot about it... Or just didnt plan on leaving the room anytime soon. Instead she just stole his cell phone and used it to call magda.
"Ramirez?"
"Magda??? It's Jinny" she said whispering, so she wouldnt wake Joe up.
"Omg, Jinny where are you" Everyone in the DIvision turned to Magda.
"I don't know... In some abandones building... You have to help me.. I..." Jinny stopped taking... She felt Joe breathing right down her neck... He was right behind her.

Ok because of the impatience of same people *cough* Britt *cough* I have decided to post some more tonight.

Jinny stayed very quiet... And Joe did to.
"Jinny??? Jinny??? Hello?" Magda said frantically on the other end, Joe could hear her talking.
"Who is that?" he asked un a very low, cold sounding voice, Magda could hear him on the other line to. She hit the record button on her phone, which was usually used to record phone calls with witnesses and such,
"Nobody... It's nobody..." Jinny said very nervosely.
"Oh it's somebody... bitch... I heard them talkin... WHO IS IT!?" He was acting very psychotic now, Jinny was waiting for that... For some reason before this he was actually being nice... Of course he didn;t expect Jinny would tell anyone what was going on. Magda listened carefully... She heard a clack, which was probably the phone hitting the wall... She then heard Jinny yell something and Joe yell something. Then she heard Jinny say something about them finding her soon and that he was in deep... Then there was silence for a second and she heard Jinny scream. There was a loud noise then someone turned the phone off.
"CAAAAAAAAPTAAAAIN!" Magda screamed. Kate ran out of her office.
"WHAT!!? What is it???" She said, from the way magda yelled she expected someone was dieing out there.
"She called! Jinny called! And... the guy... he... Omg Jinny..."
"Magda calm down and tell me what happened."
"I recorded the end part... At first Jinny said she needed help and that she was trapped or something the she stopped and I heard somebody ask her who she was talking to and... here listen" Magda said as she switched on the tape. She played it back and pretty much everyone in the division listened.
"Oh my..." CD mumbled... "Where the hell is she???"
"Some abandoned building" Mag said. "Where the hell is there an abandoned building????"
"I dont know but what I do know is that every police station in the west coast will be looking for her... And everywhere else in the country will be on alert. Excuse me, I have a few phone calls to make." Captain said as she went back into her office. She notified all of the police stations in the area and asked about any abandoned buildings. She had a list of them. A very very long list of them. She got an interesting response from one police station though,
"This is LA... We have alot of abandones buildings... We have one that someone reported hearing a gunshot come from earlier but a rookie checked it out and said that there was nobody there... But he's a wuss so he probably only checked the first floor or somthing."
"... Get somebody to check that building. NOW please" Captain said.
"Look Ma'am I dont think hes have time to drive her up to LA I mean seriously, its like a 7 hour drive at least." The police chief said... his name was Bob by the way.
"Look please, would it really make that much of a diffrence," Captain pleaded.
"No. Fne I'll send someone up there... I'll call you if we find anything alright?" he still didn't think Jinny was there but he figured it was worth a shot. he said goodbye and hung up the phone and called two patrol officers over to him.
"I need you two to check out that old burnt up building on East 58th Street... There may be someone held hostage there. I just got a call from the SFPD." he said.
One of the rookies said "Sure thing" and they left. They went quickly to the burnt down building and went in..............

You know this is starting to seem like a horror movie I mean... If It were a real episode id be pretty scared...

The two rookie cops preceded to ckeck every floor until the 13th. When they got there they noticed one door was locked. One guy kicked it open but was shocked to see that someone was actually in there. Joe turned and pointed the gun at them. Jinny was lying on the ground. There was alot of blood around her but the rookie couldnt see where she was bleeding from. He didnt have time. Joe shot both of them, Killing one instantly and severly injuring the other.

The Division gang was already on a 45 minute flight to LA, and 30 minutes into it. They werent even sure if that was where Jinny was, but with all the people working on the case in San fran they figured it wouldnt matter much it they left.
"God she's probably dead..." Magda said with tears in her eyes.
"Magda dont talk like that. She's fine I know she is... Shes strong. Shes not gonna die on us now." CD said, even though she to had a feeling Jinny was dead.

Back at the hell hole, about 15 minutes later, Joe had locked the doors again and taken the two rookies inside. The LAPD had surrounded the house. Someone in the area said that shots had gone off inside the building when the cops went in. Joe was looking out the window and didn't notice Jinny wake up. She went to run her hand through her hair but before it got there she realized there was blood on it... on her. She had no idea where she was bleeing from. She hurt everywhere. She looked at the gun shotwound on her arm. It was obviously what had been bleeding this entire time. She could barely feel her fingers on that hand and couldnt move her thumb or pointer finger. She was dizzy from the loss of blood. She was wearing a big button down shirt, so she ripped the bottom off and wrapped it around her arm to stop the bleeding. Joe was now aware she was awake but he didnt care. She closed her eyes for a second so the dizzyness would go away. She flashed on her mother lying there in a pool of her own blood. She could remember exactly how it smelled. It smelled exactly like it did in the room she was in. She opened her eyes and saw the two rookie cops that had been shot. She screamed.
"Shut up bitch!" Joe whispered, he didnt want the LAPD to hear him.
"Omg... omg you sick bastard... You killed them... You're getting the death penalty for that... Its a capital offense... You killed them..." her voice trailed off. She didn't expect that anyone other than her would die.
"Thats if they catch me. They wont catch me." Jinny stayed silent. She had no doubt that he was smart enough to get away from the police. She had no doubt they wouldnt find her until she was dead... She didnt know the LAPD even knew what was going on. Then Jinny heard something that restored her faith in everyone.
"This is the SFPD! COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS ABOVE YOUR HEAD!" Kates voice rang out over the loudspeaker.
"CAPTAIN!!!" Jinny jumped up to look out the window, she fet really weak but she managed to keep her balance.
"So that who you were talking to!!! WASNT IT!?!?!" Joe screamed.
"NO!" jinny lied as she backed into a wall.
"I swear..." joe started to come towards her but Jinny screamed as loud and as long as she could. Which she knew would probably get somone to come inside. Which it did.... magda, doing something that uaully only Jinny would do, ran in even though her orders were to stay put and went up too the room where they were.
"OPEN THE DOOR DAMNIT!" she yelled with no response she kicked the door open and joe pointed the gun at her to.
"I would not do that." Magda said. She shot him. She didnt kill him but she made him pass out. Jinny ran over to magda and literally jumped on her and hugged her to the point where she almost strangled Magda. She started sobbing hysterically and kind of fell down. Magda kneeled down and tryed to make her stop crying but it didnt work.

Ok now ive depressed myself and must take a vitamin... no wait I already did that... Ok wel im still depressed

The gang from The Division took Jinny to the hospital while the LAPD dealed with Joe. They gave jinny a room and ran a bunch of tests for STD's, fixed her arm up and gave her some blood because of how much she had lost. They gave her a drug to calm her down a bit, and a pain killer for her arm... Even though it only helped the pain justa bit. It still hurt when she tried to move it. She was allowed visitors but only one at a time. Magda kind of... litterally jumped up and went into the room before anyone else could. Jinny looked pretty crappy. She was very pale, and had a black eye. Her lip was a little swolen but not to bad.
"Hi Jin..." Magda said as she came in the room.
"hey..." Jinny said sleepily.
"How ya feelin?" Magda asked.
"Pretty good... considering... They gave me some drug or something and I can barely move now..." She said laughing a little.
"Yeah.. you look a little tired." Magda said.
"I dont feel tired... I just feel like a vegatable." She smiled a little then her smile faded. "Did the doc tell you? I have to have surgery on my arm... No big deal I mean... I can be awake during it if I want but they have to repair some nervs... No big deal though... Its my left hand... I dont use it that much anyway."
"Well" mag said sitting down "At least the damage is repairable"
"The physical damage is repairable. The damage on the inside isnt." Jinny said.
"Do you wanna talk?" Magda asked.
"I just dont get it thats all... Before the whole rehab thing... Something thos bad had never happened... I start drinking again for a week... And I get kidnapped and hauled off to LA at 4am. If I could go back in time I would have just takes the gun from Joe and shot myself just so I wouldnt have to go through what I went through..." Jinnys voice trailed off.
"Jin don't talk like that... Be happy you're alive."
"I know I should be..." she began "But I mean this just sucks... What if I have AIDS or somthing?"
"Jin... the chances of that are pretty slam" Magda said reassuringly.
"I know Mag... I know." Jinny closed her eyes. "Alright now I'm gettin tired.. Could you just tell the others to come back tomorow... I mean they could come in tonight but well.. I'll be sleeping so..." she was cut off by the doctor coming into the room.
"Ms Exstead we have your test results back... Im sorry ma'am you'll have to leave the room." He said to mag. "The results of all STD tests are confidential here"
"Alright." Mag said as she good up "Bye Jin..." she said and kinda kissed her on the forehead 'What is she does have something?' she thought as she left.

"Alright Jinny your test results came back positive for the antibodies in syphilis" the doctor said.
"Oh god..." Jinny mumbled.
"It's alright, syphilis is totally treatable if cought in time and well... this is in time. If we begin treatment now you wont feel any of the symptoms. We'd treat you with penicilin.."
"I'm allergic to penicilin!" Jinny began "What now??? Whats gonna happen???"
"Ok, there are many alternative tretments that work Just as well... IV ceftriaxone, 2 g a day can cure this up. You'll need to stay on it for 10-14 days. I'd say 14 just to be on the safe side" He said.
"Anything... Anything alright." Jinny started breathing heavily. She knew something like this was bound to happen.
"Because its through IV we'd prefer that you stay in the hospital for the entire 2 weeks. You can leave but you'd have to come back every day for a half hour... And once a week for a blood test for 4 weeks, just to be on the safe side." The doctor said.
"I just want to go home... And come back dialy for the treatment and just... pretend this never hapened." Jinny said.
"I'd suggest that you get some counseling. We have a psychologist that specializes in these cases on staff." He said sympathetically.
"... fine." Jinny said. She didnt want to admit it but she needed to talk to someone.
"Alright she can talk to you while you get your treatment... You just have to sign here to authorize it." he gave her a sheet of paper that was in "Doctor Language" and jinny didnt really get it but she knew that if she just signed it shed get the treatment so she scribbled her name on the line and gave it back to him.
"Alright. Your visitors can come back in, and we'll give you the medication in one hour. You can leave tomorow afternoon. We just want to make sure you react well to the treatments and all."
"Send Magda back in... " Jinny said. And the doctor did, he left and magda was standing right outside, so he just told her she could go in and left to order up the ceftriaxone.
"So Jin..." Magda wanted to say 'What were the results' but it wouldnt come out.
"So mag..." Jinny said kinda smiling. 'Hey' she thought 'At least I'm not gonna die'
"You're smiling... I assume that means good news... Your alright?" she asked.
"No I have syphilis..." Jinny said and have mag that 'Life sux sometimes' look.
"Oh god... It's curable right?" Mag asked.
"Yeah well... its curable... with some IV thing I need to take every day. ugh" Jin grimaced at the thought of any more needles... the blood test they took earlier that day made her feel sick. She never liked needles much.
"Well... At east its curable" Mag said.
"Yeah thats exactly what I was thinking... I also get a wonderful counseling... psych thingy..." Jinny said.
"Well Jinny tis good that you talk to somone about it..." she said.
"I dont think anyone out there really knows how I feel..."

"What's your problem?" Jinny snapped.
"Itas just your so secretive somtimes... I know its hard to talk about stuff like this but you keep every emotion bottled up inside and then you get mad when people don't know how you feel!!! How am I supposed to know if you just say "I dont wana talk about it" all the time???" Magda said doing the whole finger aggin thing in Jins face.
"Well how come you're such a bitch I mean just because you don't agree with everything everyone says that doesnt make them wrong!!! Maybe Ill feel better tomorow maybe all wanna talk about it tomorow I dont know so until that time get the hell out of my room!" Jinny yelled.

"Self destructive? Another words I get drunk off my ass and get myself into situations like this right? God, start drinking again after this how god damn stupid do you think I am!?" Jinny yelled. Mag started to say somrthing but Jinny cut her off "I'm sorry... I started this... I'm being a bitch.... Thing is..." jinny began "I'm not that upset about what he did to me... Im upset about what I did to me. I dont blame myself really entorely but I mean... Theres no denying if I had stuck with the whole sobriety thing I wouldnt be here... But what buggs me most is I dont trust myself. I dont think I can stop drinking."

25 minutes later

"Ow.... ow... OW!" Jinny yelled.
"Sorry... Missed the vein... Actually your veins are... well whats a good word... Messed up." The doctor said as he went to put the IV in a diffrent place. This time it went into her vein like it was supposed to.
The conversation Jinny and magda had earlier got them nowhere except into one of those "Yes you can!" "No I cant!" arguments about joining AA.
"Is it supposed to hurt?" Jinny asked... It didn't really hurt she just didn't like the idea of needles directly in her veins.
"Does it really hurt?" the doctor asked.
".... No. but isnt there anything else I can do?" Jinny pleaded.
"Penicilin." The doctor said, knowing she was allergic. He started the IV going and Jinny flared her nose at the medication... And staered at a wall for the next ten minutes. The therapist did come in, but Jinny didn't like her, so she acted very rude, and didnt actually answer any of the questions. After the treatment she made her way out of the hospital quickly. The doctor gave her a shet with all the symptoms of syphilis, so that she could make sure the treatment was working, but she didnt actually read it. She called a cab to take her back to her dads place. She had wondered why her dad never came to the hospital.
"I'm back.." Jinny said as she walked in. Her dad pretty much leaped on her and hugged her really tight. Jinnys side hurt really badly when he hugged her but she didn't want to tell him that. He hadn't hugged her since she left for college.
"Thank god you're alright" he said. He finally let go after about 3 years. "You had me scared to death."
"Sorry.... Really...." Jinny sniffled a bit and tried to keep from crying. Feelings of guilt were starting to set in...
That was all your fault Jinny and you know it. IF you had actually done something right for once then this would have never happened. It's your fault those two other cops got shot and it's your fault you got kidnapped. It's your fault everyone went through hell to find you. Its your fault everyones all stressed out. Its your fault you're sick now. Everythings your fault. You suck. I suck. Why do I have to be so stupid? Why do I have to be me? Why do I do everything wrong?? God I am dumb... I had to get drunk didn't I? I mean, if I had just come back here and drank a soda that night I would not have a million bruises, a gunshot wound, and whatever else it is that I have.
Jinny started to argue with herself in her head... Going back and fourth from "It's never the victems fault" to "Stupid me"
"Jin? Jinny??"
"Hmm... oh what?" Jinny said popping back into realitty.
"I asked if you were feeling alright." John said.
"Fine..." jinny began and then she broke down crying but said "Im fine..." one more time before she ran upstairs. She took an hour long shower, which was difficult, even with the waterproff cast thing for her arm. After that she put on a big T shirt and a pair of sweatpants to sleep in and flopped on her bed with a light still on. She started crying again, and began to blame herself for what happened. She had worked on so many cases and never really got why women blamed themselves for these things, because she'd never seen anyone at fault for anything like this... Other than herself.

Jinny eventually fell asleep. She ahd this weird dream that Joe broke out of Jail and was standing outaside of her house and nomatter what door she went to to get out he was standing outside of it. it was one of those dreams you couldn't wake up out of no matter how hard you tried. She finally did wake up but that was long after the dream had ended with her dying. She didn't plan on going to work and she knew nobody expected that of her so she just stumbled down the stars half asleep and flopped on the couch.
"Morning Jin... Sleep well?" her dad asked from the kitchen.
"Ummmmmmm... No,." she mumbled rubbing her eyes.
"Oh really?" he asked, "What seems to be the problem?"
"Uhh... Me." jinny said. "What's for breakfast?"
"Wichever pancakes I don't burn..." he said 'She's the prblem?' he thought 'What'd she do wrong?'
"Great" Jinny stumbled into the kitchen and sat down and put her head down and fell asleep within a matter of seconds but woke up when she heard a huge racket going on... Apparently her dad had set a pancake on fire and was struggling to extinguis the 4 inch wide towering inferno. At first it shoked jinny and she fell off ehr seat but her father threw some salt on the fire and put it out... Jinny got up and looked at the pancake... it loked like a big round piece of used charcoal.
"...I think I'm just gonna have some McDonalds for breakfast..." She said.
"Good idea..." he said... he left his burnt pancake there and went with jinny to McDonalds. Jinny didn't say anything but he knew she was self conscios... She looked like she had been beaten up bad... which she had, everyone was staring at her. Sonn they figured out why... Some ignorant 10 year old said "Your Jinny the Police lady right? Your on the front page!!! All about how that guy like kidnapped you when you were all drunk". Jinny just stared at her untikl she went away
Front page... niiiiiiiiice... uh huh, you are so stupid you go and get your... stupidity on the front page. Now everyone knows it was all your fault no use hiding it now. Thats probably what the newspapers say "Headline-Drunk Cop Gets Herself Raped". That is so true... I am so lame. Why do I have to be so lame??? I wouldn't be surprised if captain fired me for the sake of firing me. I suck at being a cop anyway. I don't deserve my job... I don't deserve having a dad who actually cares what happens to me... I don't deserve anything... I don't deserve life.

Jinny and her father walked back into the house about an hour later. Jinny ahd a stack of newspapers witrh her on the cover. She had read each article about 100 times over in the car. The articles actually made ti sound like it was all her fault... Bot in a direct way but it implyed that if she werent as drunk it wouldnt have happend; "Extead is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Shodokan Karate, but at the time was to intoxicated to defend herself against the alleged rapist. The inspector just finished a stint at rehab in an attemt to overcome her addiction to alcohol. Obviously it didn't work. This reases one question in my mind; if the police in this city cant protect themselves, how can the possibly protect the citys citezens?"
Jinny hated that one the most. She made a promise to herself to track down the man who wrote then and shoot him... She knew she wasn't really going to but she wanted to. She wanted to shoot everyone including herself. Everyone was ebign so nice. "Oh jinny it wasnt your fault." "Oh no Jin, the fact you were drunk off your ass had nothing to do with it.".
Bull Sh*t. They're ncie to your face... behind your back the probably bad talk you 24/7... thats ok. I don't need freinds anyway. Who cares? Nobody really cares about me. Why should they? I make everyones life so damn hard. I make my life so damn hard. Why is magda even my partner? I almost get her killed. Why do I have still have my job? I am always late and mess up every 5 minutes. Why aren't I dead yet? Shouldn't I have liver of Kidney disease or have been murdered by some guy seeking revenge for me dumping him by now? Maybe I should ditch the whole syphilis treatment thig and die a slow and painful death that way. Or just get it over with now. My guns right upstairs.
Jinny actually started to walk upstairs.
'Where are you goin?" jinnys dad asked. he knew somthing was wrong with her.
"... No where... Nowhere" She said coming back to reality.
What AM I doing? Kill myself? yes. No! Maybe... Why not? It's not like the world would end as we know it. Stopit Jinny... they love you... you know they do.................... How could they? how could they love me? Why do they love me? I don't love me. Teddy sure as hell doesn't... he never actually said it to me but he must I mean... I screwed up his... week didn't I. So far I have no decent family, no friends, no boyfreinds, and a bottle of beer. Which one do I want more? Or shall I just forget them all.
Jinny suddenly started crying again. She sat down on the stairs and leaned up against the wall. Her dad came over to hr and sat down next to her. Her put his arm around her, and let her cry on his shoulder, but she barely even noticed he was there. She was to busy trying to sort through her thoughts. After about 5 minuted John Sr kindaof sat her up straight and patted her on the back.
"Comeon... Calm down." he said soothingly.
Jinny tryed to exhale without crying and ended up letting out a sqeek.
"Come into the kitchen.. I'll try to make some hot chocolate"
"Just... Just.." jinny started still crying a little "Just don't set anything on fore this time... Alright?" she laughed a little, and did a sort of hiccup-cry.
Ok Jinny calm down... your acting like an ass again... Why are you crying? Whats wrong with you? Cant you handle life?... Why am I asking me all these questions I dont have the answers to...

Jinny sat at the table in the kitchen completely lost in thought while her father made his best atempt at making hot chocolate. He sat a glass in front of jinny and sloshed some dark brown gooey stuff out of the side that did not look like hot chocolate. There were about 4,000 marshmallows floating around on the top of it. Jinny spooned a little bit of it. It was actually about the consisancy of melted chocolate.
"It's a little thick... heh..." John said stirring his around.
"Marshmallowie..." Jinny made up a word to describe the overabundance of marshmallows floating around. She ate a few of them and sipped on her chocolate goo.
"Jinny... You know you can talk to me." John said.
"I know. I just really don't want to talk right now." Jinny didnt make any eye contance when she spoke.
"Jin there's something wrong with you. I can see it. I cant really expect you to be happy... considering whats happend but.. Your
just acting really deprerssed like... You're gonn hav to talk eventually."
"When I have to I will. Besides, whether I tell the entire story to you, the newspapers or the entire world its not going to make it all go away." Jinny said as she ate the rest of her marshmallows. John decided he wasnt going to push it with her right now. 'Ill just give her some time.' he thought 'pretty soon she'll start getting back to her old self.'
"Jinny girl... I just want you to remember, No matter what happens... I'm your father and I love you to death... And this wasn't all your fault..."

Jinny took her last sip of chocolate gook and went upstairs. She sat in her room for a good hour just staring at a wall. "Im still your father and I love you to death" kept ringing inside her head over and over.
Is he lying or does he really care? he has got to be lying I mean... the way he said it. it sounded like he struggled to say I love you. I'm his daughter cant he tell me that he loves me like everyone elses dad? I mean he hasnt said something like that since I was like 19. Is he afraid to let me know someone cares or soemthing? Or is it juist that nobody cares and they're just pretending to?
John knocked on Jinnys bedroom door.
"Jinny Girl... You've gotta go for that IV thing..." John yelled through the door.
Jinny came out of her room "Could you call a taxi for me?"
Ew no... Not that again. it makes my arm all sore and weird feeling. Who cares? I'll go hang around the park for an hour and pretend I went.
"Taxi? No I'm driving you... I can still see Im not 120 years old... yet." John said trying to add some humor but Jinny didnt laugh.
Damnit... This is great... I get to have a needle full of madication shoved into my arm and up my vein, and then sit there for a half hour while that friggen plastic bag drains into my arm. Happy happy joy joy.
Jinny just went out to the car, still wearing her pajamas and went with her dad there. She figured there was no point in putting on any normal clothes. They were just going to make her change into a gown thing anyway. It was "Hospital Policy". Jinny was given a room, and the nurse actually had the nerve to tell her she was late for her appointement.
"Excuse me? late to have cetrphla whatever it is shot up my veins? uh uh, no. I am here because I don't want to die so dont tell me I'm lae... I dont even have to be here." Jinny almost, literally, bit the womans head off. the nurse just walked out. "Bitch" Jinny said to herself as she changed into her annoying hospital gown. She had barely enough time to cover her ass, when the doctor came in.
"Hello Jinny how are we doing today?" He said cheerfully.
"WE are feeling crappy." Jinny said.
"Sorry, I spend alot of time with kids and its hard making the transition from 3 year old to 30 year old." He said.
"33 now lets get this over with." jinny sat down and stuck her arm out. The doctor roled the Ib theing over and went to put it in Jinnys arm. everytime he got anywhere near her she pulled her arm a little farther away from him. Finnyally as a last resort he looked out the window and asaid "OMG" and when Jinny looked he stuck the needle in. Jinny swore on her life that she was never going to forgive him for that.

When the doctor came back to remove the IV Jinny wated until he had bent over, then she looked at the door and said "OMG!". When he turned around she kicked him in the head. Not hard but just to teach him a lesson.
"Oh haha very funny." he said rubbing his head.
"I thought so." Jinny said. he removed the IV and let her go. She signed out at the front desk and saw her dad waiting for her in the car right outside the door. He waved at her and smiled this rerally goofy looking smile. Jinny just did a sort of half smile and waved.
Lord he is so weird.
She considered that the only positive thing she had thought in the past 24 hours... Even though it really wasnt positive. She went and got in the car and her dad said
"So how'd it go?"
"It was the most exciting experince in my entire 33 years on this earth." She said sarcastically. "I think even after my 14 days are up Im gonna keep coming abck just so they can stick things in me some more!"
"... You could have just said it sucked." John said as he cranked the car. They drove home in silence and as soon as they got there, Jinny went up to her room and sat there on the bed.
"How did it go?"????????? How the hell did he think it went? He knows hospitals scare me... no he doesn't. He doesn't know anything about me.
Jinny sat in her room for the remainder of the day watching Spongebob Squarepants... Nickelodeon was the only channel that came in on that TV for some strange reason. Her television wathching was interupted when she heard the beeping of the smoke detector from the kitchen.
"Dinnertime..." she said to herself as she got up and went downstairs. The entire kitchen was engulfed in a huge white cloud. "Dad!?" she yelled.
"I'm in here!" he responded fighing his way through the smoke.
"What in the hell did you do!?!?!?!" Jinny yelled as she went into the kitchen and found him.
"I was making mashed potatoes...." he said.
From that moment on they relyed on take out food.

The next four days were not easy for Jinny. As a matter of fact they got increasingly worse. Magda came to visit her alot, and everyone called her but that didn't make her feel any better. Joe was out on Bail... Nobody figured the looser was a multi millionare who could buy his way out of anything... Including a 10 million dollar bail... He used pretty much all his money to get out, but it didn't matter. It was a known fact he was going to get lethal injection anyway. Jinny was scared to death something was going to happen to her.
Comeon Jin get real... hes not that stupid...
she told herself that over and over but she didnt really believe it. She decided her best bet was to start working again. Hangfing around with cops 24/7 aught to be a bit safer. She dialed caps #...

"Hey... it's Jin." Jinny said in a sort of monotone way. That was just how she talked to everyone now.
"Oh hi Jinny... How are you?" Captain said. She was surprised jinny actually called her.
"I'm ok... Yeah. I'm coming abck to work tomrow alright?" Jinny said.
"Are yiou sure your feeling up to it?" captian asked.
"Mentally; I dont know, Emotionally; I'll deal, Physically; I feel the exact same way I have for the past 20 years of my life." jinny said.
"Alright then... If your sure you want to."
"I'm sure. Trust me. Bye." Jinny didnt bother with waiting for a response. She just hung the phone up. The next morning she woke up earlier than usual, jutto make sure that she was going to get there on time. She "stole" her dads car... Well really just took it without asking. When she got to the Station everyone in everyhall... Even some people she;d never seen before stared at her. She pretended not to see them and rushed into the division. Everyone seemed to be so happy she was back. Jinny could tell they were pretty much faking it.
I know what they're really thinking... "omg shes back... I dont believe she came back here" "oh look its Jinny... She's so dumb" Ok so maybe not but I know they;re thinking soemthing bad about me.

Finally when everyone got settle down captain handed out cases. She only let Jinny work because she had so cleverly hidden her bandaged arm. CD and Nate got the case of some random mad rapist who was out of jail on bail and dissapeered... And Jinny and Magda got a robbery. Jinny and Magda didnt talk much in the car. Jinny was on one of her "I dont want to talk" campaigns again. Suddenly jinny had a change of heart.
"I dont believe he's out again..." She said staring out the window.
"Who?" Magda asked.
"Who? ha... Comeon... How many rapists out on bail are there around here huh?" Jinny asked.
"it might not be him jin..." Magda said.
"Captain wouldnt say his name on purpose... because she knew I'd be freaked out and you know what I am freaked out!" Jinny started yelling very very loud.
"Jinny... Calm down.." Magda said as she pulled the car over
"Calm down!?!? How can I calm down?!... I am just trying to get him out of my mind and hes everywhere..." Jinny stopped yelling and started crying. "I can't take it... Magda I'm staying with you tonight... I cant go home... I know he;s looking for me... I know hell be there...

The man showed his face, left the gun there and was a repeat offender... And he was on tape it took about 30 minutes to solve the crime and arrest him. The spent the rest of the day filling out papaerwork and taking witness statements even though they werent really needed. Jinny was sitting at her desk when she heard magda say "Jin...". She turned around and saw teddy standing there (Ya all knew that was comin.) looking kind of embarrased by the fact he was actually there. He never exactly liked the fact that he loved her even after she cheated. he was just afraid to tell her that... Thinking she might hurt him again.
"Hi..." He said.
"Umm... Hi." Jinny said.
"Can i talk to youi for a second?" he asked.
"Sure..." jinny went outside of the division to talk in that one hallway nobody ever walked in.
"Jin... I've been wanting to talk to you for a while... And I know now is probably not the best time for this... But... I wanna try and give us another chance... I'd understand if you dont wanna be in a relationship right now.." he said (Why cant next sundays episode be this way!?!?!?)
"Why do you want to be with me? Do you feel sorry for me or something?" She asked. It never crossed her mind that he might actually still have feelings for her.
"No... I still care about you." He half mumbled.
"...Why? I was the worst girlfreind ever" Jinny said.
wtf??? I like cheated on him... If I were him I would have shot me already.
"... Wel everyone makes mistakes..." he said but jiny cut him off.
"No Teddy I dont 'Just make Mistakes' I just hurt people... I cant help it its just what I do... And I cant change that... I don't deserve a good relationship... Or happiness... At least not now anyway."
"How can you say that?" he asked. "Everyone deserves a second chance..."
"Not me." She said. her eyes started to sting a little, and she finally realized she was crying. She wanted him back. She had always wanted him back... But she hated the way it made her feel to hurt him... usually she could do whatever she wanted whether it hurt someone or not, and she really didn't care. But with teddy it was different.
He doesnt deserve to be treated the way I will end up treating him... He should find someone else.
"Teddy... maybe you should Just find someone else... Someone like... Jenny or something. Somebody who wont totally screw everything up. You don't wanna be with me." Jinny said wiping away the tears.
"Jinny... U cant tell me who I wanna be with and who I don't... I still love you."
"...It can never work..." Jinny shook her head and started crying again
"Jinny... Please can we try this... I mean if you really feel that way then you wouldnt be crying. I know you must be... A wreck right now... So I wont rush you for an answer... I mean I can wait until your ready... but I just want you to consider this... Because.. if you think about it our breakup was really my fault... I should have stepped in at the bar... And..." Jinny, still in tear, cut him up.
"Just shut up already would you!?" She said. he gave her that signature teddy look...
Stop it Jinny... You cant fall for him...
"Don't look at me like that..." She said... But he didn't. They stood there for about 30 seconds Just staring.
"Damn you Teddy..." Jinny said... Then she kissed him. It was a very good kiss in Teddys opinion... Salty... but good. Finally they ended it... for oxygen purposes...
"Do you still not want to be with me?" Teddy asked...

About 10 minutes later after they had finished their "Talk" Jinny came back into the division...
"Mag... Umm... You know what... I don't really need to stay at your place.. tonight... I... found somewhere else to stay..."

That night when Jinny got to teddys apartment, she almost wanted to leave. She was afraid. Afraid of getting too close maybe? I dont know.. Dont ask me. Before she had the chance to knock on the door teddy opened it.
"Oh um... Hello." Jinny said somewhat shocked.
"Hey." he moved aside for her to come in "I rented a movie."
Jinny walked in "Which movie?" she asked.
"I Still Know What You Did Last Summer and Jurassic Park 3... Whichever you want to see." He said.
"How about we watch both?" she said as she went toward the livingroom. His apartment was exactly the same as it always was. Big, expensive, and 10 times better than any place Jin had ever lived. He had a home entertainment system he had been "Collecting" over the years. Everytime he had some extra money saved he;d buy another item until his livingroom was full of DVD Players, VCRs, and Surround sound speakers. Jinny sat down on the couch and sunk into it. That was the one thing she found weird about his place... His couch was pure foam. Teddy popped Jurrassic Park 3 in and sat next to Jinny. 4 hours of straight gore and bloodshed later Teddy was about to throw up and Jinny was asleep. Teddy flipped off the TV and got himself some water. Jinny had a dream someone torpedoed her house and it sunk (I had that dream once)... Which caused her to wake up and fall off the foam couch onto hardwood floors, on her bad arm.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!" I swear to you I was a mile away at the time and heard her loud and clear.
"What the hell happened???" teddy asked spilling his water
"ARM! FALL PAIN! ow..." She said "I'm ok now..."
"Ohhh geez yeah I forgot about the whole arm thing..." Teddy said quitly.
"Yeah... Wonderfull doctors put a new bandage on it today and its to tight..." Jinny said.
"Ouch... How long do you have to wear it for?"
"Until the doctor sais 'Ok Im gonna take it off.'" Jinny said. She finally took off her jacket so he could see it.
"Yeah... It looks a little tight." he said. Jinny just gave him the "Oh well... Life sucks anyway" look and draped her jacket over the back of the chair.
"You know what I'm really tired... Wanna just go to bed?" Teddy asked.
"I hope your not too tired..." Jinny smiled at him seductivly. He got the picture.
"Not... that tired..."

"Shut up and kiss me" that worked finally. Jinny pulled herself in closer to him until it was not physically possible to get any closer. In her opinion that wasnt close enough. She pulled him back toward the couch and pulled him down to it with her. She pushed him back down and Jinny could feel the couch sinking down beneath their weight. She crawled ontop of him and lowered her body onto his. She broke off the kiss to pull her shirt off over her head... Teddy turned over so she would be on the bottom. His kiss traveled down her neck and stomach he began to unbutton her pants and his kiss continued down her body...
*THE NEXT MORNING!... U knew that was coming*

Jinny woke up the next morning, wrapped up n a blanket that hadn't been there the night before... She looked around. teddy wasnt anywhere. She got up and put his shirt on... Which was lying on the floor and called for him.
"Im here." he walked out of the bathroom wearing only his pants. "Shaving" he said pointing to his face. She smiled. She remembered the last time someone was stalking her and how he said that he ahd shaved everyday. jinny never expected to be with a guy like that. All through her life people saw her as one of those "Bad ass chicks" who dated the guys with multiple tattos, peircinge, and green hair... She actually dated a guy like that when she was 27 but we wont get into that. Well you know what they say... Opposites attract.
"We dont have that much time for breakfast,... Its already 6:30!" Teddy said like it was a huge problem... Jinny usually didnt get up until about 8:55 when working then 9 AM shift.
"Thats... ok really." Jinny said laughing a little.

He turned on the stove and started making pancakes... he had already mixed up the "Pancake Goo" as Jinny called it.

Teddy made some pancakes and Jinny couldnt understand how someone could make such a round pancake. She almost didnt want to cut it and mess it up... But in the end she just put lots of syrup on it and ate it.
"I still dont believe you cook.." She said
"What? I thought like... most men cooked now adays.." He replyed. Jinny flashed on one of her dads black breakfast lumps he liked to call "Cheesey Eggs". Jinny assumed somewhere in those black lumps was eggs and cheese... But with her dad you never know...
"Umm.. no." Jinny smiled and got up. She had brought an overnight bag thing with her so she;d have something to wear. She went into he bathroom and put on her black pants suit and a white t shirt underneath it. When she came out teddy said "What no leather today?" Jinny and him half smiled and half laughed then proceded to the station. When they got there it was only quarter to 8.
"Teddy... What time do you have to be at work anyway???"
"8." He said. Jinny still couldnt comprehend how anyone could wake up at the crack of dawn every single day. When they went in Teddy gave her a quick peck on the cheeck and rushed off to the elevator so he wouldnt be even one second late. Jinny grabbed herself some coffe and went upstairs. As she walked in, Nate and CD walked out. CD was yawning and Nate looked like he was about to fall over.
"Ooh... Night Shift" Jinny said.
"Wait a minute. Why are you on time this morning?" Then CD remembered... "Did teddy give you a ride this morning?" she said smiling.
"Oh shut up." Jinny laughed. She went into the division and sat at her desk. Nobody was there. Except captain. Who was so wrapped up in her paperwork she didnt even see Jinny until she went to the bathroom and came back.
"Oh Jinny.. Morning.. since when did u get here?" She asked.
"Uhh... Like 30 minutes ago... You've walked pat me about 10 times already.." jinny said.
"...Oh.. Ok... Well... Nice to see you ontime... for once." She said and went back into her office. Jinnys phone rang and she answered it.
"Exstead." nobody answered her, but she heard someone breathing.
"Hello?"
"I know where you are... I can see your every move... you cant hide from me." The voice said.
"Joe..." Jinny said...
"You cant hide... I'll get you... You cant keep running forever. This time I'll finish the job." after that all Jinny heard was a dial tone.

An hour later the Division was full of cops, whos job now was making sure Jinny stayed alive. Jinny was pulled off the streets and given desk duty. She was very very nervouse. Her leg was vibrating and she couldn't keep her hands still. Every few minutes shes pull her hair into a messy ponytail and then take it down again. Anything to keep her occupied. Or at least to keep her from crying. Was he ever going to leave her alone? Finally Jinny stuck her hair into a messy bun that most teenagers wore. It's not like it really mattered how good her hair looked today. She had way to much on her mind to care.
"Jinny.. Jin" Teddy said. Jinny stared off into space. "Jin..." he put his hand on her shoulder to get her attention. When he touched her she jumped and spun around in her swivel chair.
"I'm sorry... Didn't mean to scare you." He said as Jinny got up.
"No I just... I'm really on edge." She rubbed her forehead.
"You figure out where you're going to stay tonight?" He asked. it was obvious she couldnt stay with him. Joe "Knew where she was"
"No... Ill stay with magda. I don't think you should stay at your place either... He might show up." Jinny said.
"jin I doubt that. Even if he does why would he do anything to me?" Teddy asked
"I don't know I'm just worried about you..."
"Your the one that needs to be worried about" Teddy put his arm around her. "Comeon lets go get... A sandwich or something" teddy said.
"I'm not supposed to leave wihout anyone with me." Jinny said.
"Oh... Well I'm a lawyer and you have a gun so that must count for something" He smiled.
"Yeah well.. its only across the street so nothing bad can possibly happen." Jinny walked out with him. She knew she should have waited for magda to get back from the bathroom but, if she did that, it would totally interefere in her time with teddy. She had to admit. Going back into the anchorside for the first time was tempting. But she wasnt nearly dumb enough to get drunk again. Teddy picked out a table far away from the bar by the window. They pretty much ate in silence, when they were finished they finally started up some conversation.
"So Teddy... Hows work?"
"Umm... Well work." He said smiling a little.
"Oh what you dont like work? I thought all little nerdy men like you liked work." Jinny smiled and sipped on her soda.
"Oh yes of course. And tell me if I'm such a little nerdy man than how come you are actually dating me?" he asked.
"I dont know. Opposites attract. I'm cool and you're a nerd. Therefore. it is completely normal that we are dating." She said in a know it all voice like she actually knew what she was talking about. She looked out the window. Teddy said something but she didnt really hear him. He was standing right there. Infront of the police station. Staring right into that window smiling like he was on old boyfriend or something. Teddy said something else but jinny grabbed his arm ans squeezed it to get him to shut up. She still didnt look at him though. Her eyes were still fixated on Joe.
"It's him..." Jinny said. She hadnt even blinked since she saw him.
"What?" Teddy followed her stare right to Joe. He knew it was him he has seen pictures. He looked at Joe for less than a second before he said "Jinny come on... We've gotta get in the back now..." but Jinny didn't move. She was frozen. She was barely even breathing. Jow pulled out a gun and pointed it toward the window of the anchorside....

"JINNY!" Teddy yelled to snap her out of her trance. Her gabbed her arm and pulled her back. Joe shot at the window narrowly missing Teddys head. Him and Jinny dove onto the ground as a shower of sharp broken glass poured down on the table and them. She drew her gun and jumped back onto the seat and crawled to the window, cutting the side of her right thigh, her knees, and her hands with chards of glass. She pointed her gun out the window but Joe was nowhere to be found. She relaxed her mucles a bit and sunk down onto the glass. She dint even feel it poking into her knees. She watched as every police officer she had ever worked with ran into the street looking around to see what had happened, but it didn't matter. He had ducked into an alley somewhere and had dissapeered.
"Jinny are you alright???" Teddy asked.
"I'm. fine." Jinny said. She got up and finally realized there were little pieces of glass stuck in her legs and her palms. Nothing serious though. Just a bunch of little scratches.
"We are going back into the police station... Now..." He grabbed her arm and hurried back across the street. Jinny was still in shock from what had happened. Captain decided to wait on repremanding her for leaving the division without magda. She wanted Jinny to go to a hospital to have the cuts checked out but she refused. Captain called in a volunteer rescue squad person just to make sure she was alright. She said Jinny was shocked, but not in shock. She took Jinny into the bathroom and removed all the little peices of glass with a tweezer.
"Jinny why did you leave without me?" magda asked pacing around.
"I don't know... I didnt think anything was gona happen... AH!" Jinny slid back across the bench and hit the wall. The volunteer had been working at this one piece of glass in hr knee that would not come loose.
"It was your choice not to go to the hospital." She said and slid over to Jinnys knee again.
"I spend enough time in hospitals... everyday. And I hate them." Jinny winced and slammed herself back against the wall as the woman finally got the last piece of glass out.
"Well you can calm down now I'm done. You just need some bandages and you'll be fine. The woman put some antibiotic ointment on. Since Jinny was going to be at the hospital later that day she skipped the lecture on how important getting a shot would be, finguring a doctor would give her one anyway. Which he did. Along with drawing blood and giving her the IV thing and spending practically 20 minutes trying to convince her to get some counseling. Jinny refused that and went home with Raina. it was the one place jinny didn't expect Joe to be.
"So Jinny... How are you feeling?" Raina asked in the car Trying to start somekind of conversation.
"Uhhh... How do you think Im feeling right now Raina?!" jinny snapped staring out the window.
"Nevermind..." Raina just let it pass
".....Oh alright I'm sorry Ok... This is just getting really irritating next thing you know they're gonna fly me to Miami to get me away from this guy!" Jinny said.
"I doubt that. hes not very professional. He was just standing out in public... Someone must have seen him after he shot the... window. He cant run forever."
"No... he cant but... Well what if he 'finishes the job' before someone finds him?" Jinny finally made some eye contact.
"Don't think that way. Try to be a little optomistic."
"I am. It's not working."
Raina pulled up infront of her apartment building. it wasn't the nicest of places. Well considering she lived "downtown" it was but for the rest of the world it was crappy. her apartment was disgustingly messy... But no worse than Jinnys was.
"Nice apartment" jinny said making her way through all the clothes on the floor.
"Well... yeah I didnt expect any company." Raina picked up a few of the things and tossed them into the bedroom.
"I can see that" Jinny sat down on the couch.
"You want anything?" Raina asked.
"Yes... I want to know what the hell that is." Jinny pointed to some half eaten food on a plate that looked like month old macaronia and cheese.
"... So would I."

Interesting part shall come after this.

DANA MOOOOOOOOOOOOORE! PLEASE! I WANT MORE!

That night Jinny got the couch. Raina insisted that Jinny take the bed and that she would sleep on the couch, but Jinny was afraid to see what kind of mess was in the bedroom. Raina seemed to be more nervose than Jinny was. She got up everytime anything in the apartment made a sound.
"Jin... did you hear that?" She asked poking her head out of her room.
"No raina I did not hear that... Go to sleep!" Jinny moaned and rolled over.
"Maybe I should check in the kitchen just to make sure"
"Shut up... And sleep. If anyone should be nervose it should be me... I need sleep. Like the rest of the world... Please let me sleep..." Jinny was now officially irritated. Jinny rolled over and closed her eyes. Raina walked towards the kitchen and knocked a candle holder onto a plate which fell and didnt break but made this really loud noise.
"......... What the hell is wrong with you" jinny rolled back over. She started laughing when she saw that raina was wearing a shirt with a pink bunnie on it and pink pants with little hopping white bunnies on it.
"Oh ha-ha very funny" There was another sound from the kitchen "You see I told you!" she whispered. barely making and noise. Jinny got up and walked over to the kitchen door. She turned around to see where Raina was and bumped her head against rainas. She mouthed 'back up' and pushed her back. Jinny opened the door of the kitchen a little bit and looked in. There was nothing in there.
"Now are you happy???" She said pushing the door open.
"Well it sure sounded like there was something in here." Raina walked in and looked around a little. She turned back and her and jinny returned to their designated sleeping areas... well almost. Jinny sat on the couch and raina opened the bedroom door. Joe was standing right there.
"Oh god.." Raina tried to slam the door but Joe rammed up against it and pushed her back away from it. Jinny jumped up but fell backwards over something.
"How the hell did you get here!?" Jinny screamed. Joe looked at raina.
"The one in the bunny pajamas left her window open. I was just waiting for her to get up and leave so I could come in." he said. Jinny shot raina a 'look' and didn't say anything. Joe pulled a gun from behind his back, which raina recognized to be hers, and pointed it at Jinny.
"Oh no you don't!" Raina grabbed his arm from the side just as the gun went off. Jinny heard it whiz past her ear. Raina struggled with Joe for a second... he punched her in the stomach and she fell back, smashing her head on an end table by the couch. In these few seconds Jinny grabbed her gun and pointed it at Joe.
"Put the gun down NOW! I swear I will Kill you." Jinny gritted her teeth.
"No you wont... you dont have the guts to kill me." He said. He pointed his gun at her. They stood there for a few seconds. Waiting for the other other to do or say something. Raina tried to get up, but she slumped back down unconscious.
"Ok Joe... I'm gonna be nice,and do what I do with all the criminals I end up shooting. I'll give you till the count of 3... to put down the god damn gun! Starting Now! One!" Jinny said. Her eyes shifted to raina for a second, who was not moving.
"You're not gonna do it... I know your not. You're just a slut... A slut who thinks she's scary." Joe said... he didnt actually believe that. He knew she would shoot him. He could tell. He'd never seen anyone look at him with so much hatrid before.
"Two!"
Joe held onto the gun for dear life. He put his finger on the trigger. Waiting for her to say 3. SO he could shoot. Even if she did shoot him... or kill him... At least there would be a chance, the bullet he shot would hit her. Jinny glared at him. She squinted her eyes a little and grit her teeth to the point where she almost chipped her front teeth. Usually when Jinny was about to shoot someone, she always thought on the inside, that there was some good in this person... But she had to do it, because it was her job. He didn't put the gun down so it was his fault. But no matter how deep Jinny looked there was not one part of her that felt sorry for Joe. She didnt hesitate for one second. She didnt re-think what she was going to do. For one second in her life she was completely void of all human emotions other than the hate and fear she had felt for the past week.
"Three." Both Jinny and Joe shot at each other.....

The initail shock of being shot threw jinny backwards. She fell onto the coffee table and rolled off it so she was in between the couch and the table. She stayed motionless. Every little move she made hurt. Everytime she inhaled it hurt. She closed her eyes tightly, everything seemed to be swirling around. She didn't hear anyone moving. She assumed she hit Joe. She had no idea what happened to Raina... WHen she turned around she was on the ground. Jinny knew she had to call someone... Either that or she was gonna die... And raina maybe. Depended on how bad off she was. Jinny opened her eyes and tried to push herslef up. There was a sharp pain in her chest, where she had been hit, which forced her to stop. Her body felt like it weighed 100 pounds more than it really did. No matter how much she breathed in, she still felt like she had been holding her breath.
I can't die here... That's what Joe wanted to happen... I am not gonna let him win... I cat do that. Even if he dies to.
She closed her eyes and quickly pushed herself into a sitting postition. Everything in the room spun around for a few seconds. She leaned up against the couch because otherwise she couldnt sit up. She grabbed her jacket off the couch and got her phone out of the pocket. Her phone felt very heavy, she could barely keep a hold on it. She could feel herself getting closer to dieing. She dialed the only number she could think of. Magda's work #. She knew Mag was working the double shift. She looked at Raina while the phone was ringing. Her head was bleeding pretty badly... Jinny pushed her a little, with no response.
"Ramirez" magda yawned.
"Mag..." Jinny didnt sound like Jinny... She couldn't really talk. She just whispered, which she found painful.
"...Who is this? Jin is that you?" Magda asked.
"Yes... He shot me."
"Jinny!? What!? Omg... Where are you!?" Magda screamed.
"Rainas... Raina's bleeding and she looks dead and I..." Jinny didn't have enough energy to go on. "Just get help... Everyone in here is dieing right now." jinny droped the phone and slumed over and finally fell to her side. Magda yelled Jinny a few times into the phone, but there was no response, so she hung up and called 911. Rainas apartment was silent... Except for the faint sound of the dial tone of Jinnys phone.

Magda and Captain sat in the waiting room of Muhlenberg Hospital (if theres one in NJ there can damn well be one in SF!!!!!) waiting for CD and Nate to get there. Magda felt sorry for the doctors there. The hospital was jam-packed. The waiting room had run out of seats. There were crying babies and people coughing everywhere. The doctors were running every which way through the ER. Magda could saw about 7 million doctors enter and leave the room Jinny was in. She didnt know where raina went. AT least she hadn't been shot. She was probably going to be fine with a few stiches. Then again that could have been the case for Jinny. Nobody knew yet. Magda felt a blast of cold air hit her from behind. She turned around and saw CD and Nate coming through the door.
"Omg, I just got your message are they alright?" Cd said running over to Magda.
"I.. I don't know... They wheeled raina off down the hall and took Jinny into ER 1..." Magda pointed to the door down the hall and to the left. Just then a bunch of doctors left the room. Magda couldnt tell what had happened from just looking at them. They didnt look very sad, but they were sure as hell not happy.
"Something bad happened..." Nate said. "Something bad HAD to have happened"

"Exstead" The doctor said removing his gloves. The entire cop group yelled yes at the same time. "Big group" the doctor said.
"Is Jinny alright? What about Raina?" Magda asked impatiently
"Officer Washington will be fine she sustained a concussion, which has led to minor memory loss but that should subside soon... Inspector Exstead is a different story..."
"What happened to her?" captain asked
"She was shot, as you all know... The bullet puncured her left lung and is causing massive internal bleeding and a shortage of oxygen. She has slipped into an almost comatose state... Normall we would hold off on any surgery until she has improved but thats just not possible. Its the only way to stop the bleeding. She's in surgery 1 right now..." He said
"Well... Is she gonna be alright?" Nate asked.
"... We're not sure. As of now we dont suspect much brain damage from the lack of oxygen but because of the amount of blood she lost and the fact that she wasnt int he greatest of health to begin with... I'm sorry... But theres only a 50/50 chance of her survival as of now."
"omg" Cd started bting her nails...
"I'm very sorry... I'll keep you posted if there is any more information on her condition." The doctor walked back down the hall toward the ER.

The surgery on Jinnys lung, in total, took 4 hours. Including the many complications that slowed them down. Her heart stopped twice, and had to be shocked to revive her. After the surgery was complete and Jinny was set up in a room, and was ready for visitors, the time the Inspectors and the Captain had spent in the hospital had totaled to 5 hours. Magda and Kate were the only ones still awake. Kate dosed off once in a while, but Magda could not sleep. The thought of losing her partner, and her best freind ate away at her insides. She couldnt believe this was taking so long. She was ready to rip her hair out. What if she was dead? Or dying? Or still in surgery? Or perfectly fine sitting in a room wide awake watching some cheesey 80's movie? Someone had to know something.
"Excuse me... Ma'am?" The doctor said to Magda. His talking was enough to wake kate up, who was halfway sleeping. She poked Nate and CD to get them up.
"Yes?" Magda stood up.
"She's out of surgery... There were a few complications but everything is fine now. Her condition is still unstable. She needs a respirator to breath right now. In time her lungs will heal and she will be able to breath on her own. She needed quite a bit of blood, and it was difficult to find her exact type... But we got just enough to keep her going... At this point her heart should be able to make up for the blood we couldnt supply... We've had a shortage... And nobody seems to be willing to donate now... There was a rush in september... Since then there have been barely any doners... Anyway... We wont know about brain damage until she wakes up... As of now there seems to be nothing serious... But we'll have to wait and see... She can have visitors now." He said. Captain looked at Magda who had the mose depressed look on her face.
"Mag... Why don't you go first?" Captain asked sympathetically. Magda looked up at her and gave her a half smile.
"Thanks" she said. She followed the doctor down the hall and into the elevator, to the second floor. The second floor was still considered the ER, because the hospital was huge, and usually had an overlaod of patients.
"It's right in here." the doctor pointed to the door. Magda nodded and said thanks, very quitly... Almost inaudible... She walked into the room and closed the door behind her. The room was dimly light, and most of the light was supplied by the screen of Jinnys heart monitor, casting a purpleish light on everything. Magda froze once she saw Jinny. She looked so different, so weak, so helpless. Magda rubbed her throught, and tried to imagine what it would feel like to wake up after being shot, with a tube shoved down your throaght. It couldn't be very pleasant... if anything frightening. Lying in a dark room alone, hooked up to an annoying beeping machine, and a respirator, with an IV stuck in your arm, and bandages wrapped around your torso to the point where you'd think you were a living mummy. Magda pushed those thoughts out of her mind, and walked over to Jinny. She was very pale, there were circles under her eyes, which looked sunken into their sockets. Her face looked thinner than it used to... Even in the short time betwen the rape and now Jinny had lost some weight from all the stress... She ate twice as much but still dropped the weight at an unsafe rate. Magda picked up her hand, which felt completely lifeless. If itwerent for the heart monitor, Magda would have thought jinny was dead.
"I guess--- I guess now isnt the best time to ask you how your feeling is it?" Magda laugned a little and sat in the chair by the bed, still holding Jinnys hand. "No... I guess not." Her smile faded. She rubed her thumb against jinnys hand a little. She saw Jinny was still wering that silver band.
You'd think they'd take it off... so it didnt get lost.
she thought. She tried to take it off, but it moved about a centimeter before getting stuck. "No wonder you never take this thing off..." she gave up on it. "Jinny, I dont exactly know what to say.. Don't die Jinny... Please... You cant leave me now. You cant leave any of us. We all love you so much Jinny... You were in surgery for 5 hours. We were worried sick. I was so afriad something had happened. Thank god it didn't. I would have died to... If you had. Not physically but on the inside. You're my one true freind Jinny. My best freind. Please be ok." Magda started to cry, but she didn't let go of Jinnys hand. She wasnt going to. And she wasnt going to leave either. She was going to be there when Jinny woke up. So she wouldnt have to sit all alone in that room and wonder where everyone was.

I'm never going to figure out why you like this story so much... I guess it would depress you a bit to know we're nearing the end.

"Magda... Comeon mag wake up." Cd whispered. She shook Magdas shoulders from behind a bit to wake her up. She sat up straight out of her slouched position. She was still very groggy, she mumbled something that sounded like "azllae what?" CD just pulled her up out of the chair.
"It's 4 AM, you need to sleep. We all do. Comeon." CD steered magda towards the door. Magda was still out of it. She just allowed herself to be pushed out of the door and down the hall. Magda finally snapped out of it in the car. CD informed her that Jinnys condition was improving, but she would be out for atleast another 4 days. She wasn't the healthyest person the doctors had ever seen. Her drinking and diet were factors. For the last 10 years she had been living off of soda beer and cheese doodles. CD dropped Magda off at her house, where Gabe was taking care of ben.
"How is she?" Gabe asked as Magda walked in.
"How do you think?" Magda snapped. She flopped down on the couch and leaned back. Gabriel didn't say anything else. Magda looked down, mad at herself for being so mean to him. he meant well.
"She'll be out for a few days. She'll probably be alright." Magda said quietly.
"What about the guy who did this to her?"
"I dont know." Magda started. "I didn't ask... I really don't care. I saw them take him away when they picked up Jinny and Raina. Captain called me after she called 911... And raina only lives down the street so I got there when he paramedics did.... He's probably dead now. She shot him in the head."
"ouch.." Gabe said. Not to be funny or as a joke. It just seemed like the right thing to say.

He expected her to push him back, or to shrink down into the corner of the couch so it would be nearly impossible to give her just a peck on the forhead. He waited about 3 seonds. She turned to face him. Both of them were reluctant to give in and actually kiss the other one. It was a sign of weakness in a strange way. Letting the other person know love was still a possibility? That they wanted one another? Hell no. It would further complicate things. Gabriel finally leaned in, and gave her a short kiss on the lips. Completely null and void of passion, love and and tounge action. he leaned back away from her and started towards the door.
"See you tomorow. I'm picking up ben in the morning. Remember?" Gabe picked his coat up off a chair and put it on.
"It..."
