I have had the 1st, 2nd and 3rd season sets of GI for quite sometime. But I just noticed today. I was looking at the front computer generated picture of the cast for the 2nd season DVD set. Is it just me? Or does Mrs. Howell look incredible. Wow that computer photo makes her look so beautful. She even looks bvetter than Maryann. Has anyone thought this?

Is it a painting over a photograph? I've often wondered. Gilligan doesn't look quite right but the Professor is perfect, and Mrs. Howell looks about 40. A Cougar!

That's probably what Natalie Schafer looked like when she was young.

I remember when Natalie Schafer passed away in 1990 or 91(?). Throughout her career she had always kept her age pretty much a secret, and everyone from Hollywood to the media to the general public were shocked to learn she was 90. I think I remember even Dawn Wells commented she had no idea. She was significantly older than Jim Baccus.

That's probably what Natalie Schafer looked like when she was young.

To me, there's always something about Natalie that just grabs me, needless to say, I have always been a Lovey fan. Did anybody ever notice that she only colored the front half of her hair (particularly in season 2) and that the back half is still grey?? I find it irritating and wonder why on earth she did that.
