Good question. Unfortunantely I don't have the answer. I haven't even logged into myspace in over three years.

I'd say you've just about given up this site too. You're not a regular anymore.

I have this site saved on my browser so it would take a lot for me to leave this site-lol
I been on the All in the Family Board all weekend since I'm watching the DVD's
Brad Russ 07-10-2011, 06:21 PM I'm here on S.O. to stay. I'll be posting on this site forever, and will never leave again. This place is like home to me, and even though it's much slower then it use to be, I can say with certainty that I'm here for the long haul. The only way I'll stop posting here is if my computer breaks down, or if the site is discontinued.
Janice 07-10-2011, 07:15 PM Well, you guys are two of my favorite people in all of cyberspace, so I'm glad you're here. If you ever leave, just promise me you'll say good-bye.

Zoneboy 07-10-2011, 07:22 PM Why would anyone stop visiting certain websites just because of youtube and facebook? I doubt I can sell my wares on those 2 sites.

I was unaware of it. I had to think for a minute and realize that I had not went to ebay in 2 years. And it has a lot to do with the poularity of Youtube and Facebook.
Youtube brings a lot of people to facebook to discuss certain videos
Mr. Television 07-10-2011, 07:28 PM I only go to about 5 or 6 sites regularly. I can't say that I've left any sites for Youtube.

I like Youtube. I've found some very rare shows over there that I hadn't seen since I was a kid. It sure brings back alot of memories. lol

Awww, you are so sweet Janice. :D This is why I'm never going to leave this site again, because of all the awesome people like you! Most of the people here are so incredibly genuine, and just overall good people. I'd say that about 95% of my online friends come from S.O., and I want them in my life FOREVER!! Thanks Janice for reminding me of what I love so much about this place!

I think this is the main reason why Facebook is popular
"you get to talk to several of your friends and family at the same time and the site is easily accessible on your phone."
Torgo 07-11-2011, 07:51 PM I haven't stopped going to any sites because of them, I mainly use Youtube if there's a rare movie on there I want to see, or to post a link to trailer.
Facebook has been great though to keep up with family and friends that live out of state(and country)

I felt the same way a couple years ago, but someone got me to sign up, and at first I didn't care for it, but now I'm an addict. Iv'e also had a handful of friends who were skeptical about Facebook, but I talked them into joining, and now they are even more addicted than I am. lol
ekkostar 07-12-2011, 08:48 PM Wikipedia has well compiled episode guides, right down to the production numbers on each episode. After I found that out I stopped going to TV.com, which was previously TV Tome.
I remember when I used to edit a page on TV Tome. Good times.

What does Wikipedia have to do with the thread tite?
Janice 07-12-2011, 09:16 PM I associate FB with gossip. I don't care, but I don't want to read smack about me or people I care about. It's just childish nonsense as far as I'm concerned. This site is enough for me.

I know what you mean Janice, that's one of the things that I don't like about Facebook. I'll be honest though, I really can't put anybody down for it, considering the fact that I've gotten myself mixed up in that kind of nonsense in the last couple weeks. I'm just so paranoid lately. I never use names, but most of my friends know who I'm talking about. Definitely a side of me that I hate, and am trying to change. Fortunately with my friends, they don't usually use Facebook to tear people down. 99% of the messages are positive, but that 1 percent is one percent too much in my view. I really respect the fact that you're a loyal SO'er. :) You never left this site, and I know that most people cannot make that claim. Sitcoms Online without you, would be like peanut butter without jelly. It just isn't the same. I remember a few years ago there was a thread where many people said they'd never leave SO, but unfortunately those people are mostly gone now. I agree though, as much as I enjoy Facebook, it doesn't even hold a candle to SO as far as I'm concerned. Even though things here have slowed down considerably, I will still always prefer it to Facebook, or to any other site for that matter.
