Mary's ex, Bill (Angus Duncan), made his one and only appearance in the pilot.

Yes, he comes to Minneapolis right in the pilot to attempt to win her back. It doesn't work, of course. And the bit in that scene w/ Lou drunkenly contributing to the conversation is hilarious. "I miss you more than....roses in winter!" hehe!

Looking back, it seems like Mary really didn't "miss much" by dumping this guy. Seemed like a real dud to me. :lol:
