Jinny was standing in front of the division. She said to herself:Sober 85 days huh Jin ? Yeah never thought you'd make it. Well you did. Ugh..do i really have to come here ? Yeah you do Jinny ! You work here. You've been broke the past 90 days so shut up and get to work ! I wonder if anybody missed me. Not w/ the good-bye party they gave me."

Inside the captain's office........
Cap:Mag. we got a rape adn murder over by chinatown.
Mag:Any witnesses.
Cap:Well a lady said she heard some screaming. Can't be sure..
Mag:Hey cap. Since Jinny's come back I was thinking maybe..
Cap:Magda, do you really think it's a good idea to put Jin back on the streets her first day back ?
magda just looks at the captain.
Cap:Thought so. Look you got some investigating to do and I've got a division to run..so...bye.
Mag:Yeah...

Just as Magda was walking out of the captain's office Jinny came in......

Captaing:*to herself* She's back. Well Kate let's call her in. I just hope she's really sober for good. I don't wanna suspend her again.

Captain walks out of her office.
Cap:JINNY! *motions her to come into office*

Jinny steps into the office remembering the last time she was here.

Cap:So Jin. Listen as long as your under my watch no more screwing up OK ?!
Jin:*laughs* Good to know some people never change.
Cap:And just what is that supposed to mean ?
Jin:I dunno, you're the boss you tell me.
Cap:look Jinny, it's great to have you back.
Jin:Wish I could say the same.
Cap:I see you're still upset at me for suspending you.
Jin:No really ?!?! Keen eye for detail.
Cap:Ok, you know jinny this has gone far enough. I'm warning you.
Jin:yeah *rubs forehead* look just give me my gun and badge and I'll god. Tell ya what. I'll never look at your face again. OK ? I know how happy you'll be.

Captain gets out the bag that has Jinny's stuff in it and hands it to her.Jinny takes it from her and looks at her badge and smiles. She then leaves the office.

Since the wonderful captain had not assigned her anything she had nothing to do. So she decided to just hang around till Magda or somebody came.

.......2 hours later......

Magda comes into the division and notices Jinny getting a cup of coffee (her 6th one in the past hour)
Magda walks over to Jinny

Magda thinks for a while about what to say finally she says : Hey Jin !
Jin:Oh hey ! Umm listen about earlier..
Mag:No Jin. You don't have to.
Jin:No listen Mag. I'm sorry i shouldn't have been like that. I should'nt have jumped at you after everything you did. I mean I didn't ask you to care. I didn't think anybody really did. But you did. Thanx.
Magda hugs Jinny.
Mag:I still do care Jin. I'm here for you. So wanna go to lunch ?
Jin: GREAT !!

In Jiny's car
Jin:So where we off to ? Anchorside ?
Mag gives Jin one of her oncerned looks.
Jin:Before you say it I'll stop you. Look I've been sober 85 days. Please, it's not even tempting.
Mag:Ok. Fine. Let's go

In The Anchorside Bar And Grill
Jinny walks in and looks at the bar.
Jin to herself: C'mon Jin don't drink. you can do it. Don't even think about it. Good girl.
Mag looks at Jin and thinks: God I knew this was a bad idea. Well at least I'm here.

Jinny and Magda get a table
Jin:So no more Angela huh ?
Mag:Yeah she left, she heard you were coming back.
Both Jinny and Magda laugh
Jin:Oh man I've missed this place. The place Mag the place. Not the bar not the drinks. Ok ? So don't go putting words in my mouth later.
Mag:Ok. So uh Jinny now that you're back I think there's something you should know.
Jin looks at Magda who's silent.
Jin:WHAT ?!?! C'mon you're killing me here Mag !!
Mag:Ok umm..well it's like this. *Waits a few seconds*
Jin:C'mon Mag it's not like you're telling me Teddy's gonna be working w/ us. *Jinny is laughing until she looks at Magda's face*
Jinny realizes that's what Magda was trying to say.
Jin: WHAT !?!?! THEDORE IS WORKING W/ US ?!?! HOW ? WHEN ? WHY ? WHAT ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Mag:Jin just calm down. Teddy's been assigned to all of our cases from now.
Jin:And you tell me this now ?
Mag:Well I didn't know how you'd react. I mean you broke up and you never even mentioned him. What was I supposed to do ?
Jin:I dunno you set up the intervention. Why didn't you just set up another one to tell me this ?

Jinny walks out of the Bar VERY mad.

Mag:I didn't want to tell you cuz you just had the intervention and I didn't think you could handle it.
Jin:Yeah. you know what I'm gonna go home. Tell our delightful captain I'll see her at work tomorrow. And she better have something to do. cuz I am NOT gonna sit there listening to you make excuses. Got that ? Bye.
Mag:Jin wait. I have to tell you that...*Jin cuts her off*

Jinny on her walk home
To herself:God I can't believe her. Not telling me teddy's gonna be working w/ us from now on ! Geez. But I guess with the intervention and all I wouldn't have been able to handle it. I can't face Teddy. Not after what he did to me and what i did to him. I wonder if he knows ? Of course he knows. He probably saw me at the bar that night. But why ? I mean he could've called and said he hated me. I wouldn't care. I still love him though.

Jinny finally reaches her apartment and goes to the calendar.
Jin:Well 86 days now. *laughs at herself* This is my biggest acomplishment. ....Well I better get some rest.

In the morning
Jinny wakes up to find that she's behind schedule. Her alarm clock stopped at 7 am. It was now 8:30.
Jin:****! I'm late ! The cap'll never let me hear the end of it.

Jinny quickly changed her clothes and put on her boots and was out the door in 5 minutes.

AT the division
Mag:I can't believe this. She's late. I thought she'd change.
The captain walks out of her office.
Cap:Mag. Is Jin late again ?
Mag:Listen cap could you not yell at her today. I mean she was kinda mad at me when I told her about Teddy.

Just then Jinny walks in.
Jin:KINDA MAG ? KINDA ?!?!
Mag:Jin...
Jin:No Mag. I'm sorry. I just..i was a bitch. I'm sorry. it's not your fault. your right I wouldn't have been able to handle it.
Cap:Well I'll let this go. FOR NOW ! Move. You got that rape and murder to do.
Mag:Yeah.

Jinny looks at the captain.
Cap:Jinny. move !
Jin:Gladly. If I had something to do.
Cap:Your mag's partner aren't you ? Well...go do the case w/ her.
Jin:yeah....

Jin:Hey. uh you mind if I go to the bathroom. It'll be a sec. I didn't have time to go this morning ?
Mag:Sure.

Teddy walks in.

Teddy:Hey.
Mag:oh. Hey. Listen I told Jin. So you don't have to feel uncomfortable or anything.
Teddy:Ok.

Jinny comes in and doesn't notice teddy.

Jin:Alright. let's do this. *laughs* That's what the guys used to say. You know before we'd..
Mag:I get it Jin. I do.
Jin:Uh-huh. So uh who's he ?
Teddy turns around.
Jinny looks like she had just had 20 bottles of beer.
Jin:uhuh..you didn't uh you know. no one told me about uh. so uh hey !
Teddy looks calm as ever.
Teddy:Hello Inspector Exstead.
Jin:*laughs* Inspector ? You've never called me that Teddy. Well let's go got work to do.
teddy:It's Theodore.
Jin:Yeah. I know.
Teddy:I'd appreciate it if you'd call me that.
Jin:OK.
mag:Ok. Let's go. We got a rape and murder by chinatown.

(I don't know if Teddy would be able to go w/ them but in my fanfic he does.)

The car ride to the hospital where they were performing an autopsy was a quiet one.
They all step out of the car.
They walk into the doctor's office.

Mag:hey doc. What did the autopsy say ?
Doc:She was raped. badly.
Jin:Yeah. we know that.
teddy clears his throat.
Doc:As I was saying she was raped badly. And beaten up. we're taking tests to find out who's semen it is.
Mag:Thanx.
Teddy:Thanx
Jin:oh yeah. thanx for telling us all this stuff we already know !

They walk out.
Mag:Jin what's wrong ?
Jin:What's wrong ?nothing ! Everything is peachy. everything in my life has always been peachy mag.
Teddy looks very uncomfortable.
Mag:jin. Tell me. WHat is it cuz of Teddy being here.
Jin:No magda. For your 411 it's not ! Yeah it's not. ok ? can we just go ?! I'm not....let's just go.

They go to anchorside for a meal.
Teddy to Mag:You sure this is a good idea. W/ Jinny's drinking and all.
Jin:How about you ask the drunk herself ? I'm sober. Ok ? Don't worry about me. Please.

They sit and eat. This was a very quiet meal. Teddy had never seen Jinny so quiet. Just as they were about to leave a man came up to Jin.
Mag to herself:God. Now she'll start sleeping w/ strange men and then comes the drinking.

Guy:Hey Jinny.
Jin:Do I know you ?
Guy:*laughs* yeah you slept w/ me.
Suddenly it all comes back to jinny.
Jin:Slept ? You raped me !
Guy:Hey. You didn't exactly say no. You were cool w/ it.
Jin:That's cuz I was totally drunk and couldn't realize it.
Mag:Jin. maybe we should go in the car.
Jin:No. Stay. Mag when you were looking for me before you bailed me outta jail this...guy...was the one who was......
Mag:Alright let's go.
Guy:Go ? go where ? i was hoping I could get a deal. 2 ladies. I mean if you're as good as Jin then..
Jinny is very mad right now.
Jin:You know buddy. shut up.
Guy:Who's gonna make me ?
Jin:SFPD ! You're under arrest for assaulting not one but two police officers.

The guy runs real fast. Mag starts to go but Jin stops her.
Jin:Stop forget it. he's not worth it. Let's go we've got work.

In the car ride...
Teddy to himself:Jin raped ? Doesn't suprise me she must've been real drunk. But in jail ?
Jin to herself:Teddy teddy teddy. Why ? Why did he have to meet me ? His whole life is probably screwed up. Now he probably thinks the worst of me. Good going Jin.

Mag looks at Jin and raises her eyebrow (in a good way)

Jin:ok. let's go outside.

They go outside into the parking lot.

Teddy:Why ? Cuz we broke up ? You've gone through a lot of guys Jinny so this isn't a big deal for you or for me.
Jin:First of all who are you to past judgment on me and tell me how I feel when I'm not even sure !?!?!! and second of all..wait no there is no second. And what do you mean this isn't a big deal for you ?
Teddy:Like I said this isn't a big deal. We dated, we had fun, you cheated on me, we broke up.
Jin:we never officially broke up. sorta.
Teddy: What we never went to court ?
Jinny and Teddy both laugh.
Jin:I just don't want you or ME to feel uncomfortbale.

They walk back into the division.

Teddy:Ok well I'm gonna go back to the office. I'll be back in 40.

Teddy leaves.

Mag:So.....(she has that look on her face you know the one cd had when she smelled those flowers on Jinny's desk)...
Jin:No Mag. We're not getting back together.
Mag:Ok so then what did you talk about ?
Jin:I just told him you know not to feel uncomfortable.
Mag:I don't think he's the uncomfortable one.
Jin:Yeah tell me about it. It's just really annoying how he's so calm about this. Ya know ?
Mag is about to answer when the captain steps out of her office.

Cap:Hey the tests results are in. Seems that Miss Lisa Kernel was raped by her father.
Mag:By her father ?
Jin:Yeah Magda people do that.
Mag:I know that but..
Jin:But if she was raped by her father she was probably killed by him too.
Cap:Go visit him and see if you can get anything.

Inside the car

Mag:Uh yeah maybe. We were wondering if we could uhh... *Magda hadn't thought about what to say so she was lost*
Jinny jumps in
Jin:We were wondering if you have the phone numbers of her friends and some photo albums of you guys, the family.
Mrs.Kernel:Sure. Sure.

Mr.Kernel walks in
Mr.Kernel:Hello inspectors. What's up ?
Jin:We just need some of Lisa's friends' numbers. If it's not too much trouble.

Mrs.Kernel walks in w/ a piece of paper.

Mag:Well that was...

Mag laughs
mag:Yeah. I mean the guy's daughter is dead and he doesn't care if we find the guy.
Jin:Wrong he does. and he doesn't want us to. So he's a major suspect.
Mag:Why ? Cuz of what he said.
Jin:Yeah and the way eh acted. it seemed like he wanted to keep this very hush-hush. And the only reason that would be is if he raped her.
Mag:Uh-huh.
Jin:SO we'll have to call all her friends see if they know. And if they do, well let's just hope mr.kernel hasn't threatened any of em.
Mag:Yeah.

Inside the division.
Cd:Hey Jin. This is my new partner Nate.
Nate:Hey, Jinny. Nice to meet you. heard a lot about you.
Jin:It's not true. *laughs* How you doing. Hadn't really had lunch w/ a male cop in the group since dick so uh hope you join us one day.

Magda looks concerned.
Jin:No thanx. Sober 87 days. Let's keep it that way. Besides when Magda's with me I can't really drink. *she laughs* and so does magda.

Teddy walks in.
Mag:Teddy I thought you'd be back in 40 minutes ? What happened ?
Teddy:uh I got stuck at the office.
Jin:Boss had some trouble ?
Teddy: Not exactly

Just then a blonde girl walks in (look like Blair w/ 10 years added on)

Teddy:Oh Jess ! Over here. I want you to meet some people.
Jess:Teddy darling !
Jin:Darling ? *laughs*
Teddy:Jess this is Inspectors Magda Ramirez and Jinny Exstead.
Magda, Jinny is is Jessica, my fiance.
Mag:OH...uh nice to meet you. *catches a glance at the dumbfounded Jinny.
Jess Nice to meet you too. and nice to meet you .....
Jin:It's Jinny !
Jess:Right right.
Jin:Yeah. Look we got work so if you don't mind.
Jess:Course not. I'll wait in the car Teddy.
Teddy:Just a sec.
Mag:So uh see ya tomorrow.

Magda walks away to give Jinny and Teddy a minute alone.

Teddy:So uh..
Jin:IS THAT WHY YOU WERE SO CALM ?
Teddy:Yeah.
Jin:Go figure.
Teddy:Listen Jin I don't want to hurt you.
Jin:Yeah you just want to ruin my day.
Teddy:no Jin. Listen. Hey ! That's not fair.
Jin:Not fair ? You come in here w/ less than a day fo warning and tell me you're engaged. I've just been out of rehab.
Teddy Looks suprised.
Jin:yeah that's right. me in rehab. See uh after the intervention Magda set up I figured if I went to rehab I could finally get my act together and maybe we could start to go out again and my life would be happy for once. But I see I was wrong.
teddy:You cheated on me.
Jin:Yeah i did ! *She has tears in her eyes now* You know what I don't even care. I don't know why I'm getting so worked up over you. You obviously don't care. just go. I'll see you here tomorrow.
Teddy walks out.

Mag:jin you want to talk.
Jinny pushes her away and runs into the bathroom.

ok here's more..but before i post i was watching the division "what sharp teeth you have" like 10 mins ago and jinny was telling teddy about the guy who mugged him. and she mentioned agg assault...i thought of you susan..LOL. :D

Jinny is running to the bathroom.
She remembers the last time she ran to the bathroom crying. They had just taken her mom away in a black body bag.
Jinny to herself:No don't think about that.

*she cries for about 5 mins*
Jinny to herself:SO that's why he was so calm. but I guess I'm happy for him. C'mon Jin you didn't really think you'd end up w/ him. You never get what you want. I'll call him tomorrow and tell him.

Jinny walks out and goes to her desk.
Mag:Jinny. you ok ?
Jin:Yeah I think I am. Thanx.
Mag:Listen if you want to talk.

Jin:Like whenever something happens you immediately think I'm gonna go out and get wasted.

Both Jinny and Magda laugh.
Jin:Thanx but I think I'm just gonna get a quiet night's sleep.

It's now one week later. Jinny and Magda have not gotten far in their case and they don't have any evidence to prove that Mr.Kernel killed his daughter. teddy and jinny had been spending a lot of time at work together and his fiance was not to happy about it.

In Teddy's apartment
teddy:What ?
Jess:You're alwasy w/ her. That Jinny.
Teddy:Jinny ?
Jess:Yeah the slutaholic. (combo of slut and alcoholic ! thank you. thank you..lol)
Teddy didn't like hearing what she was saying, sure it was true and he knew it yet he didn't appreciate it.
Teddy:You have no right to say that.
Jess:God why ARE you always w/ her. are you cheating on me or something ?
Teddy:Jess, I love you. I want to marry you. Jinny and I are over. Finishdo ! I love you and only you. I gotta go I'm gonna be later for work.
Jess:ok...see you at anchorside for dinner.
Teddy:Bye love you. *gives her a kiss on the cheek*
Jess:Right back at ya babe.

Teddy arives at the division. by now he and jinny were feeling more comfortable around each other. But teddy was afraid that it was too comfortable. He knew Jinny.
Teddy to himself:But she's changed.

Jinny:Hey teddy-o ! What's up ?
Teddy:Well you're ina good mood. What's up ?
Jin:Well I think the captain is finally accepting the fact that I am not leaving. All is good ! Go me !
Teddy laughs. Ok..so uh where's magda ?

Magda walks in.
Mag:Hey. Omg !
Jin:WHAT ?!
Mag:You're here before me. How can that be ?
They all laugh.
Mag:So what did you get ?
Jin:I didn't get any.
Mag:You know that's not what I meant.
Jin:*laughs* Sorry..i couldn't turn the opportunity down. Ok well her friends say her father never let her go out. and that she came to school w/ bruises, claming she walked into a door.
Mag:so either her father hit her or...
Jin:or she as blind as a 500 year old person.
Mag:yeah..well we've got enough to convict him of the rape but the murder.
Teddy:If he raped her killing her must have been the only option for him.
Jin:yeah he's right....kill her so she wouldn't tell.
Mag:God.

Ok so now it's night time.

magda has gone home because gabriel called and told her ben had a fever.
Jin:So..what are you up to tonight ?
Teddy:Dinner w/ jess.
Jin:Ohh....

They start walking over there because jinny was supposed to meet her dad there. Little did she knew that it would be a life altering after just 30 minutes......

Jinny and Teddy walked into anchorside. Jess immediately saw them
Jess:God, why does she always have to be here. I'd say she takes about 10 mins before she gets completely drunk.
Teddy:Hey !
Jess:hey. Hello (to jinny)
Jin:hey. Well see ya tomorrow.

Jinny to herself:god she hates me. thinks i'm stealing teddy from her. whatever. Mm..he's cute ! (looks at a guy that's passing by* No jin. contol thy self. good girl. geez where's dad. he said he'd be here at 8 it's 8:30! well I'll go wait outside.

Jinny waits outside for about 45 mins.
Jinny to herself:god i hope nothing happened. jin! don't think like that. he probably stopped on the way to get some cigarrettes. yeah that's it.

Finally after waiting for an hour Jinny gives up and goes across the street to the pay phone w/-out realizing that there was one back in the bar.

Jinny was walking across the street when suddenly this car came towards her at high speed. she saw the face. it looked familiar. like....the car hit her and knocked her on the ground.

Teddy was just walking outta anchorside when this happened.

teddy:JINNY ! MY GOD ! someone call 9-1-1.
jess:teddy leave her. someone'll call. let's just go.
Teddy:GO ? GO ? i'm not going to leave her there. she could be dying.

Teddy rushes to the middle of the street. by now the car had been long gone.

Teddy:someone call 9-1-1 damn it !

A woman calls.

They take Jinny away in an ambulance. BY now she's lost a lot of blood and Teddy didn't know what to do. he called magda and told her everything.

Mag:MY god. I'll be rigth there.

Teddy gets off the phone.

Mag:well a woman got the license plate off the car and we tracked it down. the guy was drunk and he ran over a cliff. He was very drunk.

Mag:She got hit by a car. The driver was driving drunk.
Cap:My god.
Mag:She's still in there. I dunno what to do to keep me from going insane.

2 hours later.....

Doctor:Are you guys here for Ms.Exstead ?
Everybody:yeah..that's us.
Doctor:Where's her father ?
John:I paged him he should be here any minute.
Magda clears her throat.
Doctor:ok..the car hit her w/ a strong impact. you're lucky she's alvie. She has some bruises but they'll be gone in a few days. She's lost a lot of blood. But she'll be alright. She has to stay here for 2 weeks. You can go and see her now.
Everybody:thanx.

Mag:Can we all go in at the same time ?
Everybody:sure.

They walk into Jinny's room and everyone hugs her.

Jinny:John you came ?!
John:Heck ya you're my sis.
Jinny laughs.
Jinny:So uh when do I get outta here ? Where Dad ? filling some forms or something ?
Casey:He's not here yet.

Mag:It's not. Jinny I'm sorry. He was drunk he ran over a cliff and bled to death. If he hadn't bled to death there were many other factors that would've killed him.

John Casey and Jinny all hug each other. Jinny still cannot believe this is happening. First her mother and now her father.

Magda, Teddy, Kate, CD, and Nate look at the family hugging each other for comfort.

John Sr.'s Funeral......
Jinny was the first one at the church. She saw the coffin. They were not able to have an open casket because of the accident and the damage it had done. Jinny kept thinking that it would look exactly like her mom's head....

Jinny walks up to the coffin and starts talking.
Jinny:Dad. Why ? why ? You know better to drink and drive. Was it my fault ? Because of that dinner you never showed up to ? Did you have something to hide ? you think this might bring you closer to mom ? or bring us closer ? I almost died. Damn you. Why did you lave me....Why ?

By now Jinny is crying very hard and cannot control herself.

Casey walks through the door and sees Jinny down by their father's coffin.

Casey runs towards her.

Casey:jin. Jinny. It's ok.
They hug.

After 20 minutes people start arriving. John Jr. has just entered the church. He goes and hugs Jinny, shakes hands with Casey and then sits down.

.......ok the services are over and they are burrying him.....


Jinny sees the coffin being lowered into the ground. She saw her father's face in her mind. And all of a sudden a flashback hit her. Her mom's funeral. They were burrying her. Jinny started feeling sick. Not because she was remembering her mom's head with all the blood. She grabbed out for Casey.

Casey:jin, what's wrong ?
Jin:i uh..uh...

Suddenly Jinny fainted.

*chanting as she does the agging funger dance*

Everyone's worried expressions go away.

The funeral is over....

Casey:Jinny, i know this is hard on you. it's hard on all of us. but *gets cut off*
Jinny:He died cuz of me. If i didn't tell him to meet me for the dinner... this never would've..
Casey:NO ! Jinny. he was stupid. he made the mistake of driking and driving and got 2 people hurt. he has to live w/ that.
Jinny:Yeah..i don't exactly see him living casey. you know what i'm sorry.
John Jr. comes up to them
JohnJr:hey guys. think we should say something.
Jinny:oh yeah like the funeral wasn't enough.
Casey:jinny..

BUt it's too late. Jinny hugs casey and runs to her car..crying. She starts driving. She's going really fast, about 80 mph. She passes Anchorside and decides to go have something to eat.

She gets out of the car and looks at the middle of the street where she was hit. By her dad.

Jinny walks into Anchorside.

Jinny to herself:It's just one drink. One drink. C'mon if I've been sober for like 90 days or whatver the hell it's been I can certainly handle one ity bitty drink.

Jinny to the bartender:Beer..draft.

After Jinny's had her like 15th drink she starts thinking.

Jinny to herself:You know Jinnygirl..*laughs* what dad used to call me...i'm glad you decided to have a few good ol drinks. God I miss this. *looks at a really hot guy who looks like he would be good* MMM ! you can say that again.

She and the guy's eyes meet and they start walking off together. Jinny already knows how this night is going to end but at this point nothing can get worse...or can it ??

Magda had gone to the bar looking for inny. SHe knew she would go there but she hoped she was wrong. the bartender told her that she and a guy went to a motel. Since there was no other motel for another 50 miles Magda decided it was this one.

She walks up into the lobby.

Magda to the bellboy:Hey. I nned to know if a couple came here. the woman had black shoulder-length hair, white skin, was wearing a leather jacket..look here's a pic.
Bellboy:I'm sorry I'm not allowed to give that information out.
Magda:YEAH ? Well this is a police emergency !

Magda goes up three flights. There is no elevator.

The guy runs....Magda tries to run after him but he was too fats.

She comes back to the room..Jinny is dressed by now.

Magda:Ok...she had had a birthday party the day she was killed. everyone left but she was still in the pool. I'm guessing he raped her after he drowned her and then beat her up just to make sure she was dead.
Teddy:So you guys going by the house.
Mag:Yeah.

The drive to the kernel's house. Magda has an arrest warrant for Mr.kernel.

Magda knocks on the door. Mrs.Kernel answers the door.

Mrs.Kernel:Hello officers. what can I help you w/ ?
Jinny:Is your husband here ?
Mrs.Kernel:Uh..yeah. why ?
Magda holds arrest warrent out.
Magda:Because we have a warrent for his arrest.

Mr.Kernel comes down the stairs he sees the two inspectors and tries to make a run for it but luckily Jinny was faster.

Jinny while cuffing him:Mr.Kernel you're under arrest for the rape and murder of your daughter. You ahve the right to remain silent anything you say can and will be hel against you in a court of law. you have the right to an attorney if you cannot afford one the court will appoint one for you free of charge. do you understand these rights that have been given to you ?
Mr.Kernel just looks at the wall
Jinny:HEY ! Do you or do not understand ?
Mr.Kernel:yeah. call my lawyer *to his wife*

The leave.

Mrs.Kernel dials their attorneys office and explains everything. he says he'll meet her at the police station and to not worry he can get him out.

Mrs.Kernel to herself:RAPED AND KILLED MY BABY ? no this this isn't happening. my god. what kind of father..father.hell he wasn't a father. i wonder if he raped her all those times i woke and didn't find him next to me ? that bastard. i'm gonna settle this once and for all. the police are gonna take weeks, months, maybe years to..no he did the crime now he's gonna face the..where's the gun ? where the hell is something ? *just then she saw a picture of her daughter* my baby. baby *she's crying.* don't worry i'll make him pay. that damn bastard. oh baby. i'm soo sorry. it's my fault. oooooooo *image the scene when jinny started cryign in her apratment in intervention...that's what her crying sounded like*...

Magda walks in....

Teddy walks in and heared what jinny said.

Mrs.kernel:you know what no ! you come into our homes tell us our daughter was raped AND killed and then you say my husband's responisble and take him away. lead me to him.

Magda:Mrs.ker-
mrs.kernal:NOW ! before i splatter your brains all over the floor.

Magda:Ok ok...jin stay behind her..come w/ me.

They take her into the questioning room. Kate sees them.

Mrs.kernel looks at her husband.

Mr.kernel is about to say something but gets cut off.

Okay..so there's not much else to write about. but i guess i will end my fanfic today. i have another idea for one and i may start it today...i dunno. i have to study for a vocab test. i usually fail those but last week i got 100 % and i don't wanna fail tomorrow and have the teacher think i cheated or something last week. lol. :D so here's the end of it ! enjoy !

Jinny goes over to her desk and rubs her forehead.Magda goes over to her.

magda:hey-is interrupted by teddy.

they go outside.

Teddy:jin..me and jess broke up last night, the engagment's off. i wanted you to be the first to know.
Jinny looks shocked. she knew teddy hadn't been spending much time with her and there was also that threat she made to jinny. but she just didn't think teddy would break it off.
Jinny:I'm sorry. *hugs him*
Jinny:you wanna talk ?
Teddy:uh..no. nope. not really. to tell you the truth i didn't like her that much either.
Jinny laughs:Then why marry her ?
Teddy:i thought i was in love w/ her..but...
Jinny:but what teddy ? you know you can tell me.
Teddy:but i every time i saw her instead of seeing her i saw you jinny.
Jinny lookes speechless. She hadn't thought about teddy in that way for a long while.

Jinny hugs Teddy. As she's pulling away from him Teddy draws her closer and their lips meet.

Jinny goes inside to tell mag and get her stuff. Teddy is in the car.

Magda:Oh hey jin...listen I know since your dad's death and all you haven't really felt at peace. i dunno if you ever have. but i've got you babe. *sings* Jinny laughs
JInny:Hey uh mag you mind if we talk later. me and teddy are going on a date.
Magda:what about jess ?
Jinny:Jess who ?
Magda and Jinny laugh.
Magda:it's good to see you laugh again jin.
jinny:yeah...we'll talk later. k ?
Magda:ok.

Jinny walking out of the division thinking to herself:Jinnygirl. You lost your father less than a month ago and he almost killed you. in a way it was the greatest thing that could've happened. if it hadn't i wouldn't be w/ teddy. *looks up at the sky* thanx dad. i'll never forget you. now you can be w/ mom all the time..just like you wanted. *smiles* i think i'm gonna be ok now. if i stay away from alcholo for a while. who knows. maybe i'll join aa. *thinks* nah !
she gets into teddy's car and they ride off to anchorside......(even though it's across the street).....
