You can tell Michael Gross and Meredith Baxter are genuinely friends. They are like the 80s version of Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore. I remember the romantic scenes between Steven and Elyse look real and genuine. They were a great couple to watch but I wish there were more storylines about their relationship.
