How many of you have experienced "burn out" with your favorite shows? That is, you went through a period where you watched the episodes so many times you kind of burnt out on it for a while and needed to take a break from it to gather some perspective?
It happened to me with Barney Miller, Star Trek, and the British "Are You Being Served?" That's not to say I stopped liking the shows, just that I needed a break from them. Same thing has happened with groups I love. I went through a period in high school and college where I listened to the Beatles so often I had to get away from them for a bit. Of course, after a break it's great to come back and appreciate the greatness all over again. ;)
