Penny Lane 02-15-2011, 12:15 PM Since I spend a lot of my internet time on Facebook lately I rarely come here or anywhere else for that matter anymore. That just stinks! I really miss you all here as I have been a member since 2001. Is anybody else neglecting SO because of facebook? I want to stay connected here so I will attempt to visit more often. I see though that a lot of my old friends aren't here much anymore either. But I realize that time moves on as we do. But Facebook has reconnected me with some old friends whom I have lost touch with so that's a good thing! HELLO AGAIN SITCOMS ONLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MrCleveland 02-15-2011, 02:40 PM I've been here before Facebook, during Facebook, and even after Facebook.
I think Facebook makes me want to call-up old friends, as a matter of fact!
Marvo301 02-15-2011, 02:54 PM Hi Penny Lane! I visit both here and facebook every day. But I probably spend more time at facebook.
tv star collector 02-15-2011, 03:45 PM I guess I'm the exception, because I probably spend more time here than on
Facebook.

Hi Marlene, and good to see you, SO friend. For many months last year, I wasn't on SO very much, but for the last few months I've been on several times. I'm also on FB; I like both SO and FB, except that I don't get to stay on either one for much time. It's turning out to be my busiest year at work yet. My goal is to at least visit each one daily even if for a few minutes. Besides FB, SO is the only board I've stayed with (like five or six years this April). I feel comfortable with the people on SO. As for FB, my goal has been to connect with family and relatives mainly, but also some friends (I have a few SO friends on FB). For me, FB's a vehicle to reconnect and stay in touch, and share something of myself and what I'm about, and learn something about other people. I don't usually post status's, play games, copy status's, join causes--it's just not my personality. Some people just post, stream-of-consciousness style, whatever is on their mind. That's fine; it's just not my thing. I plan to continue with both SO and FB. Take care, Marlene.
Family Ties Forever! 02-15-2011, 11:56 PM Facebook is too hard to see and not "my cup of tea." I have no interest for Myspace, Twitter, Livejournal, Facebook, blogs, etc.
PlayOn 02-16-2011, 02:52 AM I spend most of my time on Facebook as well. That and FarmVille. lol. But I do come here from time to time everyday.
Nighthawk76 02-17-2011, 07:22 PM I spend more of my free time on Facebook. Its a great way to connect with people. Also, where as SO focuses more on sitcoms, Facebook has sites for all sorts of shows, movies, music, literature...
Also, most of my best SO buddies like Billie, Cathy, Mattie, Kim, Jude, Kristen and Andrea don't post as much here anymore, if they post at all.
Brieannas21 02-17-2011, 09:18 PM I too have started to spend more time on Facebook. I don't know what happened with me, the beginning of last year I was hardly ever on Facebook, and now I'm a bit addicted.

What is your username, Brieanna?
Crimson and Clover 02-17-2011, 11:48 PM I spend a lot of time on facebook
I check Sitcoms Online 2-3 times a week, but I'm on Facebook multiple times a day. Nothing against SO; Facebook just has more to offer.
ZeldaGilroy 02-18-2011, 04:04 AM I spend too much time on facebook. I was always one of those anti-facebook people who thought it was ridiculous and couldn't understand the appeal. Finally a friend convinced me to get on, and I was instantly hooked. I post there way more than I do here.
I've been thinking of limiting my time online in general though. I think I need to explore other methods of entertainment.

Who are you on Facebook?
Schmoopie 02-20-2011, 10:22 AM I left SO for a long while but decided to come back and I'm happy to be here. I usually post on Facebook, but I've been coming here pretty regularly for the past few weeks. It's nice to have the option of doing both, though.

Exactly!!!
spunkygirl 02-21-2011, 02:52 AM I flove Facebook, I'm addicted to it
If anyone wants to be a FB friend, PM me :)
Miss Lisa 02-23-2011, 11:05 PM I wouldn't say that I am addicted to FB. Although there are some people that I believe are. In my psych class, we had to give up something for a week. I and five others chose FB. Only one person made it through that week without getting onto FB. My problem is that I had to get volunteers and send things out for my project and some of my friends could only get the information they needed through fb. If my grade hadn't depended on certain people helping me, I wouldn't have gotten on in the first place.
My point is that even though a lot of people love fb, I think people are becoming dependent on it. I'm guilty of making plans and letting everyone know what is going on through fb. There are other ways to contact people, its just that no one wants to use them.
rachelstevens 02-26-2011, 08:50 AM With the popularity of Facebook does not disappear, and millions of users, every year, it is not surprising that many online entrepreneurs get the chance and makes the social sites as their way to catapult their business, their desired goal of success. In recognition of the importance of Facebook fan page, Web marketers should use the right steps to increase the impact of SEO efforts.
