Since I was a HUGE fan of AITF, I have seen every episode at LEAST 10 times each. The thing about THAT particular epiosode is compared to the versions that MIKE, ARCHIE and GLORIA gave, Edith's version was comparatively less extreme. So therefore the audience would automatically assume that her's was closer to the truth.
