Graduated from The Rhode Island School of Design.

The fact that they're both from Rhode Island doesn't really address the question of why McFarlane likes him so much. I live in the same state as Rod Blagojevich but I doubt I'd cast him in an animated series if the chance came up. :lol:

My guess is that it's as simple as McFarlane admiring Wood's work and maybe just liking him as an outspoken and interesting person.
