I just read that and it just seemed odd to me that that would be true. I guess I am asking if anybody really knows if that were the case or not?

You have to remember that the wedding episode was huge back in 1974 so I'm not surprised. But Rhoda also beat MTM in 1975-76. It was ranked # 8 and MTM was #19.
