"I’m hearing from very reliable sources that 1 VS 100 is looking to make a television network comeback. It won’t be on NBC, though. I can’t say what network it’s for just yet. 1 VS 100 reruns has been a major player for GSN, achieving big ratings for the game show network even though it has few episodes. The live XBox game also saw large numbers of people playing the game for prizes on the gaming system. I obviously can’t promise anything but last I heard it is “very likely to happen”. Keep your fingers crossed. It’s one of the best quiz shows of the past decade and got a raw deal at NBC. If handled correctly, and if the budget can be kept under control, it has the chance of being a huge hit.

UPDATE: Hole in the Wall has been picked up by Cartoon Network. It’ll work far better as a kids show than one for adults.

Network Orders 10 Episodes Of Global Game Show Phenomenon
From American Idol Producers FremantleMedia North America
How many ways can you bend your body? Cartoon Network is on a mission to find out with a 10-episode order of HOLE IN THE WALL, the global game show phenomenon produced by FremantleMedia North America. Casting is underway and production will begin shortly for this new, "twisted" half-hour game show featuring two teams of families in competition as they face down a series of moving barriers with ever-changing cut-out shapes.
Speed, agility and a hearty sense of humor are essential tools to survive HOLE IN THE WALL -one of the trickiest, fastest, funniest and
wettest shows on the planet - as contestants contort their bodies every which way to fit through the wall or else end up being swept away into a pool of water. As the rounds progress and the pace heats up, mind over matter, quick thinking, coordination, and clever teamwork play a crucial role as each team strives to maneuver through walls literally closing in on them.
HOLE IN THE WALL became an instant ratings success story on-air and online after launching on Japan's Fuji TV in July 2006, where it
continues to rank No. 1 in its timeslot. The format swiftly created waves around the world, with FremantleMedia currently producing versions in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Colombia, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Russia, Sweden and the U.K.

Great news about 1 vs. 100. I liked that show. Hopefully they can get Bob Saget and all the writers back. I think it would do well in half-hour daily syndication. Keep the last money payout system (every 10 people gets you XX dollars), make the top prize $500 K and have the same mob all week. They can tape five shows in a day that way. A different mob member becomes the "one."
