Every two bit performer nowadays can get them but not the real legends. Look how long it took to FINALLY get a star approved for Elizabeth Montgomery. Sadly great performers like Irene Ryan miss out on the tributes that they deserve as television icons nowadays. Unfortunately they rarely give posthumous stars and it appears to be mostly a publicity thing given the costs and everything. I would like to add that Donna Douglas certainly deserves a star as well - she's so iconic Mattel has just released a Elly May Barbie doll. Max Baer should get one, too but I doubt either would want to cough up the 15 grand for it at this point in their lives since both are essentially retired from acting. gopyle 10-22-2011, 06:35 PM Unbelievable she does not have one, considering some of those who do.
