No it's not still there. All the buildings were torn down and it was converted into a park after being cleaned up. I have driven by there before actually.

Are they still radioactive? I'm no physicist but I assume there is a half-life or something that would lead the remains to be safe after a while.

Is it a long period of time, like a 100 years or is it a lot sooner like 20 years. (Damn, I wish I didn't fail physics in high school. :D )

Also I have to imagine that with today's technology, ther would be a safe way to examine or even autopsy the remains. Granted it's probably too expensive to use in a case like this.
