Ice Cream(Supermarkets)= EDY's 2. Candy Bars= The Hershey Company 3. Cars=Toyota 4.Fast Food Restaurants(Burgers)=Burger King..... 5. I think this thread is actually more about your favorite brand of an item than your favorite monopoly. A monopoly is when there is only one name in the market place. A oligopoly is when there a few names with control of the market place. Neither the names Janice submitted or does Sitcoms fit either catogory. Sitcoms is your favorite place and I'm sure the names Janice offered are her favorites.
