(The Philadelphia Phillies beat the NY Yankees 6-1.)

(Ralph just watched the game with Ed.)

Ralph: "Oooh, those Phillies just got lucky. That's all. It's just one game."

Ed: "Yeah, they just got lucky. Those Phillies will be lucky if they win three more games."

Ralph: "Incredibly lucky. The Yankees will not lose this series Norton."

(Ed gets a call on his cell phone.)

Ed: "Hello? Oooh, it's Freddie Muller. Hello."

Fred (over phone): "Did you see that game? Those Phillies I predict will win it all."

Ralph: "Ha ha. Those Philies will never win a game this series."

Fred (over phone): "How about we make a bet? If the Phillies win, you owe me $20. If the Yanks win, I owe you $20."

Ralph: "Deal and you will lose because the Yankees own this series. They will win. Isn't that right Norton?"

Ed: "I don't know. Now that I think about it, those Phillies have proven to me that they can't beat the Yankees."

Fred (over phone): "I agree Ralph."

Ralph (yells): "GET OUT! GET OUT!"

(Ed leaves.)

McGarrity (from upstairs, yells): "HEY KRAMDEN! YOUR YANKEES LOST AGAIN. HA HA HA."

(Ralph goes to the window and sticks his head out.)

Ralph (yells): "ATTENTION EVERYONE! EVERYBODY IN THE BUILDING! LONG LIVE THE YANKEES! OTHER THAN THE PHILLIES, WHO IS IT THAT EVERYBODY HATES IN THIS BUILDING. I AM GUESSING IT IS MCGARRITY."

Everyone (yells): "KRAMDEN!"

(Ralph is upset.)

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience cheers.)

Jackie: "Thank you. GOOD NIGHT."

(Audience cheers.)
