As you all probably know by now, I love posting links with many of my threads. I just enjoy sharing my favorite videos with others. You don't have to though, you can just write out your favorite moments, so don't feel any pressure to supply a link. If your favorite moment sounds interesting to me, I'll just look the video up myself. Anyway, I'm not going to post any favorite moments right now, but will later. This is possibly the most amazing feat I've ever seen in sports history. I believe this is from 2004, and is the moment where Tracy Mccgrady scored 13points against the Spurs in the games final 35 seconds, giving the Rockets a one point win. I doubt we'll ever see a feat like this in the NBA ever again. It's amazing how this happened only a few years ago, and how now because of injuries, he is a shell of his former self, who now has trouble scoring 13 points in a full game, much less in 35 seconds. Atleast he'll always have this moment to brag about though.

game 6, flyers vs. tampa bay. keith primeau scores with like a minute left to tie it, simon gagne scores in OT and flyers win. also....

game 6 semi-finals, flyers vs. toronto maple leafs. sami kapanen gets crushed on the play but roenick scores the GW, to get the flyers TO the conf. finals vs. tampa bay that year.

the phillies 161st game last year, to win the division, on the Game ending double play. rollins to utley to howard.

The high school I graduated from won the football state championship last year. Why couldn't they have done that when I was going to school there??! The best they did was in my senior year when we went 7-3, and lost in the 1st round of the playoffs!:D

Man, both you guys have my school beat. The high school I would have gone to, has a huge reputation in Oregon. Unfortunately it's an embarrassing reputation. Our varsity football team hasn't won a game since 1990 I believe. :lol: No I'm not ****ting you guys, we just absolutely suck, year after year. If and when we do finally win a game, it'll likely make the front page of the sports section of our newspaper. I'm not kidding either, us winning would be HUGE news in the State of Oregon!!!

All the great, memorable moments of the Cleveland Indians' magical carpet ride of the mid-90s/early-00s. Especially 1995 and 1997...going to the World Series twice while I was in high school (which we proceeded to LOSE, but that's another rant for another day). Everyone you'll meet in Cleveland will swear to you that the Major League movies (at least the first 2) are real - a case of life imitating art!! :D

Here is a funny baseball story - I always got a chuckle out of this, poor guy:

The Cubs were playing a national TV game, and Joe Morgan was one of the broadcasters. It was Randy Myers poster day at Wrigley Field, Myers being the Cubs closer at the time. Myers came into the game and blew the save. With the lead gone and Myers still on the mound, the Bleacher Bums began throwing their Randy Myers posters onto the field. Hundreds of rolled-up posters littered the outfield grass and the game was delayed. It was a spontaneous, heartfelt, funny statement by long-suffering fans.

When Donovan Bailey won the gold in the sprint in the 96 Olympics and DIDN'T test positve for 'roids like Ben Johnson did (and embarrassed his country in the process). You could hear the whole country cheer at that moment I swear! (We scared one of our cats so badly that he jumped a good 7 feet in the air and landed at the bottom of the basement steps - even my brother said, "Holy **** - did you see THAT?!")

We named our male dog after him!

Oh YAH! How could I forget?!! I was the biggest Blue Jays fan back from '85 to '93 (I gave up on Baseball after the strike in 94 entirely). Man we LOVED Joe Carter didn't we? What a great team that was back then - loved watching Mosely steal those bases. I used to go to the games all the time and still have the Division and World champ sweatshirts, t-shirts and a fortune in other souvenirs from then. :D

Here's another basketball moment that I will never forget. I remember when people would always say that one unapproachable sports record that would never be surpassed, was Wilt Chamberlain's 100 point game. A few years ago though, Kobe Bryant made people re-think that thought when he scored 81 points in a game. Bryant only had 25 points in the first half, but had he scored 46 points in the first half, he would have beaten the record. With Lebron James, and so many great talents in the league, I wouldn't be surprised if someone did break Chamberlain's record one day. Anyway, here's an 8 minute video of Kobe making history by scoring the second most amount of points by a single player in NBA history. Enjoy!!

Ok. I thought you always knew I lived in New Jersey. I probably told you, but you might of forgotten about it. I don't know. Still, you said since 2008. I did clearly specify that it was within the 2004-2005 school year that my hs team won it. It's all good though regardless.

And Arena football is cool. I mean, I hardly watched it when it was on and I wasn't a big big fan, but it was cool and I admit it was pretty good. Just never caught my attention or interest. I'm more a pro sports guy. Not these side sports, and collegiate sports. I do watch NCAA Men's Basketball, especially when March Madness rolls around. It is just a great time of the year and great for the game of basketball + I have a friend who plays for Sienna that I was rooting for to win last year, besides Villanova and Temple of course. I watch a little bit of college football but I don't get into it at all. I don't know the players or every team either.

I don't think anybody is ever going to get 101 or more in a game Brad. 100 points in a game for one person is absolutely remarkable and amazing. Kobe did a good job but he's a ball hog. Back in Wilt's days, teams would score 150-170 points per game, a lot of times on average. What Kobe did was fantastic and unfathomable, but he does it for himself. Wilt could lead the league in scoring, then the next year would lead the league in assists. I'm just giving my opinion on it though. I've seen that video though. Pretty awesome stuff. Youtube is one of my favorite sites and I find new, cool stuff on their each and everyday :) ;).

You may very well be right Kyle, and you bring up some great points that make you're case strong, I just think that with so many amazing players, and many of the big stars with their me first attitudes, I just wouldn't be surprised if someone beat the record eventually. Lebron James might just wake up one morning and decide, that you know what, I feel like making history tonight, and become a ball hog, and shoot everytime he gets the ball. I wouldn't put something like that past him, or a Dwayne Wade, or any number of stars. Way back when in 1969 the Knicks faced the Lakers for the NBA championship. The series was tied at games, with the deciding game to be played at the Garden. Willis Reed, our center and captain hurt his hip in game 5 and sat out game 6, which was a walk over for the Lakers. No one knew if he would suit or or play game 7. With both teams warming out, no sign of Willlis. With moments before the start of the game, Willis came hobbling down the runway to the Garden floor. The fans erupted and the Lakers stopped shooting and stared. The game began, Chamberlin did not come out to guard him and Wilis pumped in two quick jumpers. Then he came out and didn't return. What a moment. Clyde was all over the place and the Knicks triumphed.
