who are your fav comedic duos like jo and blair or laverne and shirley?

Definitely Laverne & Shirley!! The chemistry between Penny Marshall and CIndy Williams was great! (Even though they did have trouble on the set...) And they were great at physical comedy!

Charles In Charge's Charles and Buddy. They were hilarious! The Facts Of Life's Jo and Blair were great too.

Andy Griffith and Don Knotts- they were hillarious together!

ROBERT PIERCE and DONNY MOST if they ever would have been in a sitcom together.

Come on, Robert!!!! Make a comeback; damn it.

Jo and Blair where a great duo.

Hey CLASSIC TV MAN, I so agree with you! 'Jo and Blair' would of made a great spinoff, it would of been interesting to see if they had actually followed through with the idea.

As far as newer shows go, Jack and Karen on Will and Grace are amazing together.

Jack and Mr. Floppy had super dialog between their characters. My vote for best comedy duo.

Mr. and Mrs. Roper were so, so funny together. Norman Fell and Audra Lindley were great choices to play them. I can't think of anyone else who could!

It's Gilligan and the Skipper from Gilligan's Island. They are so funny and I don't think anyone else could ever act them like Bob Denver and Alan Hale did. Bob Denver was the perfect choice for the bumbling but sweet and loveable Gilligan and Alan Hale was pefect as the Skipper.

Women: Lucy & Ethel, hands down
Men: Felix & Oscar
Mixed: I'm not sure!

I think that the best duo is Lucy and Ethel and Jo and Blair.

Hawkeye and BJ

I would love to mention Jo and Blair, but I think back to Hawkeye and BJ and remember all their stunts (when they get Frank drunk and put the toe tag and he ends up at the front is among my favorites) Jo and Blair don't come close. If you wanted to say best duo who constantly fought then I would say Jo and Blair, but just plain comedic duo it's Hawk and BJ.

How bout Jackie Gleason and Art Carney.

Another good comic duo was Hawkeye and Trapper from the first 3 seasons of MASH. There was one episode where Trapper was in a boxing match against a huge guy from another unit. There was no way he could beat this guy. So he and Hawkeye devised this plan where one of Trapper's gloves would have ether on it. As soon this guy got a whiff of the ether, he'd be out cold. Trapper went through the entire match with his glove in the other guy's face. Of course, the guy went down and Trapper won the match.
