Wow, now that is scary! We have this joke going around at work. They put up these signs everywhere that have a big STOP sign on them. In big letters it gives the symptoms of flu and swine flu and says "If you're sick, be prepared to stay at home except to go to medical appointments." Problem is that our attendance policy is so strict that you can be fired for missing more than a few days of work-for any reason-even with a doctor's note. The good thing about perfect attendance is that every month you go without calling in sick, you get $50 extra dollars. As of this month, I"ve gotten perfect attendance for an entire year! I think if I can go all the way to December I get a LOT of extra money in my check!!
