I purchased a laptop from someone in Chicago on Ebay like a FOOL and it was mailed on Thursday, 9/3, 2-3 day priority and with the holiday being Monday, do you think it's a chance I can get it by Saturday?

I can't seem to get anyone normal on the phone at USPS and I know it's like 20 hours driving from Chicago to Philly. I blame myself for not choosing a seller on the eastcoast

Well I am taking into consideration that it left the post office on Friday, Monday the Post Office was closed and Chicago is not close to Philly.

The location of the seller has nothing to do with it especially where priority mail is concerned. I've shipped items to California that got there in 2 days and items on the east coast that took longer. You have every right to be mad because the seller took so long to ship it but location isn't a factor here.

Don't know why, the same laptop you would get from best buy is the same that you would get from walmart. As long as you have a warranty then it shouldn't matter. With a Used laptop if anything breaks or goes wrong you have to pay out of pocket. Which sounds better?

You'll get a refund if the seller has the funds in his account. If you file a claim, Paypal will freeze the seller's account until the matter is resolved but if he withdrew the money prior to your claim then you may be out of luck although I certainly hope not.

First of all, I really don't appreciate being called an a$$hole. I'm just trying to let you know how Paypal operates. I was in a similar situation a few years ago and Paypal could not recover the money I lost because the seller had no money in his account. The ball is now in the seller's court, He has to prove that the item was delivered and if he can't then you're certainly entitled to a refund.

My husband bought a table off of E-bay and the woman never sent it. He filed a complaint and when Paypal contacted the woman, she never responded. Paypal then refunded our money. Wouldn't you know that right afterwards, we got the table in the mail. We ended up sending it back. We could have kept it, but that would have made me feel SO dishonest!
