LOL, not sure if that was a good move. He is not even a top 10 QB

He has a Super Bowl ring and has been playing very well the last five years.

BTW, if you claim he's not top 10, who IS?

What if Eli gets hurt? The Giants won't have any money left to get another QB!

Brees and Rivers don't have a ring, Flacco and Ryan have played just one season (and also don't have a ring).

Rosenfels?  I'm sorry, but to say that a guy who WON A SUPERBOWL should be ranked lowere than a guy who HAS NEVER PLAYED A PLAYOFF GAME?

Eli beat a Patriots team going for a perfect record; Rosenfels has more losses than wins.

Does. Not. Compute.

They gave him 97 million dollars? holy sh*t. he is not top ten.

big ben won two superbowls, and is a better QB, but doesn't make him number one, if we're going by superbowl appearences and wins. Brady is probably one of the exceptions, but superbowl wins are team related. I don't think any NFL player is worth 97 million. that is absolutely ridiculous money. you couldn't pay me, to spend $97 million.

I just noticed something. It was a GREAT day to be a "Eli", on a team with the name "Giants." Eli Whiteside of the San Francisco Giants hit a Grand Slam, for his first home run of the season, in a 10-6 win over Houston. Eli Manning of the New York Giants, earned a $97 million, $30 million guarenteed contract.

Craziness

I'll take any of McNabb's backups over Rosenfels.

Yeah, I was real surprised when I read about his contract. Not saying he don't deserve it, but that's a little too much for a QB of his calibre. I am not calling him a bad QB, just a very good QB. Maybe a top 15 QB, but definitely not a top 10 QB.
