View Full Version : Brian, the Giants give Eli 97 million bones????? TVFactFan 08-05-2009, 07:57 PM LOL, not sure if that was a good move. He is not even a top 10 QB Big C 08-05-2009, 08:00 PM He has a Super Bowl ring and has been playing very well the last five years. BTW, if you claim he's not top 10, who IS? TVFactFan 08-05-2009, 08:03 PM He has a Super Bowl ring and has been playing very well the last five years. BTW, if you claim he's not top 10, who IS? Brady Manning Mcnabb Big Ben Rivers Brees Flacco Ryan Warner Rosenfels Marvo301 08-05-2009, 08:08 PM What if Eli gets hurt? The Giants won't have any money left to get another QB! Big C 08-05-2009, 08:23 PM Brady Manning Mcnabb Big Ben Rivers Brees Flacco Ryan Warner Rosenfels Brees and Rivers don't have a ring, Flacco and Ryan have played just one season (and also don't have a ring). Rosenfels?  I'm sorry, but to say that a guy who WON A SUPERBOWL should be ranked lowere than a guy who HAS NEVER PLAYED A PLAYOFF GAME? Eli beat a Patriots team going for a perfect record; Rosenfels has more losses than wins. Does. Not. Compute. mriggles 08-05-2009, 08:47 PM The giants will regret this contract... ELI without Plaxico = DEER IN HEADLIGHTS.... BTW LOTS OF EAGLES TALK COMING SOON ;) Waterston_Fan 08-05-2009, 08:54 PM I already posted about this!! We don't need another thread.. TVFactFan 08-05-2009, 09:00 PM I already posted about this!! We don't need another thread.. Your thread has no replies and this one is active so just post in this one Waterston_Fan 08-05-2009, 09:19 PM Your thread has no replies and this one is active so just post in this one Fine. I'll just delete that one then. Wreckless 08-05-2009, 10:24 PM They gave him 97 million dollars? holy sh*t. he is not top ten. big ben won two superbowls, and is a better QB, but doesn't make him number one, if we're going by superbowl appearences and wins. Brady is probably one of the exceptions, but superbowl wins are team related. I don't think any NFL player is worth 97 million. that is absolutely ridiculous money. you couldn't pay me, to spend $97 million. Wreckless 08-05-2009, 10:44 PM Brady Manning Mcnabb Big Ben Rivers Brees Flacco Ryan Warner Rosenfels Flacco and Rosenfels in your top 10 LOL LOL? that is the stupidest **** I've ever heard Solomon. my top 10 in order, best to worst. Brady Manning Roethlisberger McNabb Warner Brees Rivers Hasselbeck Jeff Garcia Rodgers we're going with the best in the league....hasselbeck was injured last year but is a great QB 11. Jay Cutler 12. Eli Manning 13. Romo 14. Matt Ryan 15. Pennington Wreckless 08-05-2009, 11:28 PM I just noticed something. It was a GREAT day to be a "Eli", on a team with the name "Giants." Eli Whiteside of the San Francisco Giants hit a Grand Slam, for his first home run of the season, in a 10-6 win over Houston. Eli Manning of the New York Giants, earned a $97 million, $30 million guarenteed contract.  Craziness Big C 08-06-2009, 12:38 AM I'll take any of McNabb's backups over Rosenfels. Wreckless 08-06-2009, 12:40 AM I'll take any of McNabb's backups over Rosenfels. AJ Feely >>>>>> Rosenfels GARFIELDKOOL 08-06-2009, 07:13 AM Yeah, I was real surprised when I read about his contract. Not saying he don't deserve it, but that's a little too much for a QB of his calibre. I am not calling him a bad QB, just a very good QB. Maybe a top 15 QB, but definitely not a top 10 QB. TVFactFan 08-06-2009, 07:56 PM Yeah, I was real surprised when I read about his contract. Not saying he don't deserve it, but that's a little too much for a QB of his calibre.
