Where did you find them? I looked in the dvd section at 3 locations and they weren't there. The first location I mentioned in my initial post had them where they normally keep dvds.

well i went to two different Big Lots here, the first one had them in the seasonal section, in the center of the store towards the front, the second store had them in bins (it had been much more picked through) right in front of the cash registers...

and at the second store i got confused and bought Night Court season 1 AGAIN and the Scooby Doo movies...

...so i went back to the first store and exchanged the 2nd Night Court for Semi Pro (the Will Ferrel movie).

Here are some more sets at $6 each that I found in local Big Lots stores:

Dallas - Seasons 7 & 9
The Drew Carey Show - Season 1
The West Wing - Season 1? (I think I did see that season)
The O.C - some of the later seasons (not certain which)
E.R. - a couple of the later seasons (not certain which)
Advs. of Robin Hood - Season 1 (1950s TV, Richard Greene)
Advs. of Sherlock Holmes - Season 1 (1950s TV)
Thundercats (TV - animated)

Knots Landing - I missed it, but a woman had one in her cart. She claimed to have found Seasons 1 & 2. I think I saw Animaniacs as well...! And there was a SuperFriends box, selected eps from the Zan & Jayna era.

There is an ad for some of these, like The O.C, in their current flyer. Try more than one store if possible. One location was loaded in comparison to the other! Good luck.

Night Court (sesason 1)

Thanks for listing that. I made an extra trip and found copies.

I'm amazed that people have located Wonder Woman and Lois & Clark. I can't find those at all. I've also struck out on Hanna-Barbera, except for The Scooby Doo Movies.

I've also been amazed at some of the titles being found by others. I've only been to 2 stores here in NC but with the exception of The O.C., There's been no variation as far as the tv series are concerned. I'd love to have some of the Hanna-Barbera sets but no luck in finding those. You can find some good deals at Big Lots but unfortunately, All stores don't always get the same things and these dvd titles are proof of that. I'd be interested in knowing all the different sets they did get.

Big Lots is having a sale today only, You can get a coupon in the store that will allow you to save an additional 20% off your purchase. As far as I know, All stores are participating. Just ask for your coupon when you walk in the store.

Yes! I used my 20% off coupon and -- get this -- the following were priced at $3, so I paid only $2.40 each (finally found the Hanna-Barbera sets - thanks to those who mentioned them):

Flintstones Season 3
Top Cat - Complete Series
Wacky Races - Complete Series
Pebbles & Bamm-Bamm - Complete Series
Josie and the Pussycats - Complete Series

Also - alert time - the big box set of Roots, the complete original event, was priced at $10...

Edit: According to the cashier, his store had at least one copy of a set of late 1930s Popeye cartoons (Fleischer Studios/ Paramount). Those are pretty expensive sets at suggested retail!

Zoneboy

Something told me to go back to the store where I first found these and this time they had a better selection. I picked up the following with my 20% coupon.

Lois and Clark (seasons 1-2-3)
Tales from the Crypt (seasons 4-5)
Pinky and the Brain (volumes 1 & 2)
Top Cat (complete series)
Animaniacs (volume 2)
Stephen King's Nightmares & Dreamscapes

This same location also had a few others but I didn't purchase them including:

Dallas (seasons 6, 7 & 9)
Nip/Tuck (season 4)
The O.C. (season 2)
Tracey Takes On (season 2)
Veronica Mars (season 2)
Murphy Brown (season 1)

I went to another location and their selection wasn't as good but I did pick-up Smallville (season 7 blu-ray) and Super Friends (volume 2) They also had Full House (season 5), Drew carey Show (season 1) The rest were ones that the other locations had, Dallas , Joey, The O.C. etc..

I'm planning on hitting a few other stores this week, I'd like to find as many of Hanna-Barbera collections as possible.

Pinky and the Brain volume 1 is very hard to find around here. In fact, The store I got it from only had 1 copy compared to at least 10 of volume 2.

For reasons unknown to me, The Hanna-Barbera sets, Tales from the crypt and Lois & Clark are priced at $3.00 each and the others are $6.00 but who's complaining?

When I took the $3 H-B sets to the register, I was almost afraid that they would call them out as pricing errors!

Looks like I'll be taking a drive up to Michigan to check a store there. I'll be looking for Tales from the Crypt, Lois & Clark, Murphy Brown, Full House, and Dallas Season 6 among those you've listed. Thanks for the info.

Otherwise, I might want to pick up the Larry King Interviews set, depending on which stars are on there. And I still haven't come across Dukes of Hazzard Season 4 or Dastardly & Muttley.

I might add that the recent Dukes of Hazzard movie with Jessica Simpson is now popping up there at $3 (cut-out, with a slash across the UPC). And my local store had a lot of public domain box sets: Western, Crime, Family, etc. -- large compilations of older material.

You might want to continue checking stores in your area as much as possible. I went back to the first location I mentioned again today and they were stocking the shelf when I arrived. Today I picked up the following for $3.00 each:

Hanna-Barbera complete series

Wacky Races
Dastardly and Muttley In Their Flying Machines
Josie and the Pussycats
The Pebbles and Bamm Bamm Show

The Adventures of Superman (seasons 5 & 6, Both for $3.00)
The Flintstones (seasons 2-3-5 & 6)
Popeye the Sailor (volume 1 1933-1938)
Everwood (season 1)

I also got Wait Till Your Father Gets Home (season 1) but it was $6 instead of $3 like the other Hanna-Barbera dvd's

Saw the following but didn't purchase:

Life Goes On (Season 1)
Tracey Takes On (season 1)

The Flintstones seasons 5 & 6 were not factory sealed, I checked the discs before buying them and they were perfect. I found 1 copy of season 5 and 2 of season 6. Seasons 2 & 3 are plentiful but no luck finding 1 & 4.

Dallas, Joey, The West Wing, The Dukes of Hazzard, Night Court , The O.C and Lois and Clark are easy to find in this area.

Went to another store today and found Animaniacs volume 1 for $6 and the following for $3

Lois and Clark seasons 1 - 4, I bought one complete set and an extra copy of season 4 to complete another that I had already started.

Batman the Animated Series volume 2

The Adventures of Superman season 2, 3 & 4

Wacky Races The complete series (another hard one to find)

Superman - The Theatrical Serials Collection

Super Friends The complete 1973 series although it's labeled volume 2

Challenge of the Super Friends season 1

Since I had 2 Lois and Clark sets, I listed one on eBay for $80.00 which is a little more than what they're usually selling for and someone bought it within 15 minutes after it was listed. I have 27 of these sets that were $3 each and this guy's purchase has covered it.

I still haven't found everything that I was looking for, but I did manage to get a couple of $3 sets today... among the TV ones I got were The Flintstones Season 1-3 and Murphy Brown Season 1. I'm still hoping to find seasons 4-6 of The Flintstones, Night Court season 1, Wait Till Your Father Gets Home, and seasons 1-5 of Tales from the Crypt. Other DVDs that I saw (but didn't get) included Growing Pains, Top Cat, Dukes of Hazzard, The West Wing, Life Goes On, The O.C., and a few others. Everything was marked $3 here, but there were a few $6 sets (The West Wing and The O.C., specifically).

I have hit 8 (out of 11) Big Lots in my area and I found a store today that had TWENTY copies of Flintstones season 1. This was in New Albany, Indiana. They obviously aren't spreading those around, because I couldn't even find that season at most stores in my area. I also found at the exact same store at least a dozen copies of Wacky Races, again, another show I couldn't find at the other stores. I found a few Dallas sets and Night Court season 1 today finally too. I wish I could find that Looney Tunes one here, I keep hearing about that one but not many people seem to have much luck finding it! In fact, we have none of the $10 sets here, and what is even more odd is the prices on the non-HB stuff varies from store to store here. For example, Murphy Brown and Dukes of Hazzard is $6 at some stores here and $3 at others.

And The West Wing season 2 is all over the place. I don't see any other season of it aside from season 2!

I haven't come across The Ben Stiller Show yet, but I'll be picking up that one for sure if I find it. I made the mistake of buying several seasons of Dallas on amazon.com a few weeks ago as I thought it was "dirt cheap" on Marketplace at $8 a season, I'm pretty sure now that what I was actually getting was resold Big Lots sets! The second store (I went on Monday) I picked up Murphy Brown, Tales From the Crypt Season 3,Larry King Live Greatest Interviews, and Popeye Volume 1. (They also had seasons 2 & 3 of The Flinstones, but I already already all of them. The third store (I'm guessing was cleaned out) I found Pebbles & Bamm Bamm/I] and [I]Josie & The Pussycats. 3 Dollars each.

From the 6 dollar sale, I found Joey, Roots: The Next Generation, Night Court Season 1Scooby Doo Mysteries, and Dukes seasons 5 & 6. Also Tracy Ulmann for 3.00. I saw several seasons of Dallas

I never saw Drew Careyor Friends which I would like to have.

There really is a mixed bag out there depending upon which store you go to. I've found some that have a huge selection with a lot of great choices and others that have virtually no DVDs at all (literally, one had probably a couple dozen DVDs, all of which were movies). It is all a matter of finding the right store.

I was wondering something. Is there anything to stop someone from buying the complete stock of say, all The Flintstones @3.00 each, and reselling it? I saw some Flintstones today, which I already own, but if I were in the business, I would have bought the entire stock! Maybe thats why some stores have nothing.

Oh you'd better believe me when I say that people are indeed doing just that. We have a Big Lots here that is next door to a flea market, and I went in there and noticed that they had none of these Warner DVDs... went next door to the flea market and saw a dealer with PLENTY of the Warner DVDs (the same ones everybody is finding at Big Lots) for $12 a set. Psst, Warner: When inventory doesn't sell, that means it's overpriced. Dropped down to it's current $3-$6-$10 levels, the inventory has mostly flown off shelves. If you actually want to be able to sell units of TV shows, you should take notes from this, whatever the circumstances that led to it.

It's also not as though the sets were intended for normal sale and wound up - their fate otherwise would have been destruction. As such, I'm not feeling particularly bad for Warner in this one.

Big Lots normally doesn't keep candy or anything else that is expired on the shelves. Anytime you see an expired item especially food, candy etc... You should bring it to the Mgr's attention and it wouldn't hurt to check on the dvd's

I was at Big Lots earlier today and they still had a gazillion Night Court season one but I found something that I've never seen on dvd and that was Shirley Temple's Storybook from 1958. Each dvd has 2 episodes and Shirley Temple appeared in several if not all of them along with many well known guest stars. The episodes I found were:

"The House of the Seven Gables" starring Robert Culp, Agnes Moorehead, Jonathan Harris and Martin Landau

"Babes in Toyland" starring Jonathan Winters, Angela Cartwright, Joe Besser, Carl Ballantine, etc...

"The Terrible Clockman" starring John Astin, Sam Jaffe, etc..

"The Emporer's New Clothes" starring Sebastian Cabot, Eli Wallach, Pernell Roberts, etc..

"Madeline" starring Imogene Coca, Ann Jillian, etc..

"Winnie the Pooh" featuring the voices of Bill, Cora and George Baird, Franz Fazakas and starring Ted Eccles as Christopher Robin

Each dvd was only $3 and this show may not be hard to find but I've never seen it on dvd until today.

I'm surprised you actually found that one, I saw that one at Big Lots about two or three years ago but haven't seen it since then. It is a decent show, really.

The thing I keep running in to at Big Lots currently is the Spin City set with 22 of Michael J. Fox's favorite episodes... this isn't one that Shout! Factory has done, but rather was released by Dreamworks and Paramount. It is going for $5 here.

Charles in Charge season 3 is basically impossible to get ahold of. Big Lots only has season 1 from what I've seen (as season 1 was the only season released by Universal), season 2 is readily available, and seasons 4 and 5 are available as on demand titles from Amazon.com. Somehow in the shuffle, season 3 (which was readily available at one point in time) got lost in the shuffle and is now out of print, going for about $100 used on various websites.

Out of print just means that they've stopped making it, but just because they stopped making it doesn't mean that there aren't still some out there. Season 1 is actually out of print too, but there are still plenty of them in the stores. I don't know what the status is on season 2.

The reason why is that their stock is almost depleted. You can still find several shows like Night Court, Joey, The West Wing, The O.C. , Kate and Allie etc... but the animated series are pretty much gone. Since Big Lots deals in close-outs and liquidations, Their stock is usually limited to what's on hand and once it's gone it that's it. My only gripe is that each store got a random allotment. It would've been nice if the stock were distributed more evenly but all things considered I think I done very well.

I don't know if there's any way of knowing how the stores received their allotments or if it was done evenly, because whose to say if a flea-market or used dvd dealer got in there and depleted the stock of the most popular titles.

By the way, I was in Big Lots today and saw Charles in Charge Season 1;Grosse Point The Complete Series and one other law show complete series, besides the movies.

I don't know if there's any way of knowing how the stores received their allotments or if it was done evenly, because whose to say if a flea-market or used dvd dealer got in there and depleted the stock of the most popular titles.

I can assure you that the distribution of the WB dvds was not done evenly. You might have one store with 20 copies of the Flintstones season 1 and another with 20 season 2 or you could've gotten lucky like I did and found a store with all 6 seasons. Flea market vendors and eBay sellers like myself bought as much as possible. I hit at least 20 stores within a 150 mile radius and bought every copy of what I knew I could sell on eBay and believe me I wasn't the only one doing it. Big Lots doesn't set limits on their items so it's first come, first serve. The whole experience hasn't been entirely great though. I traveled to stores 100 miles away only to find their stock completely gone but I went to others and the dvds had hardly been touched. In fact, One store had all their dvds on 2 huge tables in the middle of the floor and nobody was looking at them. By the time I had my buggy full the crowd rushed over to see what was going on but by then I'd just about wiped out the store. I'm keeping one copy of each set for myself but the rest are being sold on eBay and this is without a doubt the best deal I've ever seen at Big Lots

By the way, I was in Big Lots today and saw Charles in Charge Season 1;Grosse Point The Complete Series and one other law show complete series, besides the movies.

Those are plentiful around here. The only thing I can suggest to anyone is to keep looking or view their weekly circular online. You never know when a deal like this will happen.

I picked up Simon & Simon a while back at Big Lots as a blind buy (I had never watched it before) and loved it after one episode. I was kind of surprised really. I bought Coach and Magnum, P.I. today. I've always liked Coach, but I've never really watched Magnum, P.I., so maybe I'll be a big fan of that before all is said and done.

Seriously, the studios should listen up, this would be a great strategy to sell the shows... if every studio put one random season of each show at Big Lots to sell very cheap, then hook the people on the show to buy the rest at full retail. Although I'd rather get them all at Big Lots prices.

I've seen Action there before but never My Big Fat Greek Life, I'll have to look for that one. I've been seeing a ton of Jeff Foxworthy season 1, Rules of Engagement season 1, and The Best of The Steve Harvey Show lately. And I found one lonely copy of the movie Mary and Rhoda the other day, I bought it a few months ago at Big Lots but hadn't seen it there in a while.

While it isn't Big Lots, I found some interesting multi-season sets at Target today too... 21 Jump Street Seasons 3 and 4 from Mill Creek for $14.99 (which is odd because Mill Creek has "officially" only released season 1 so far!) and Here's Lucy season 1 and 2 for $19.99.

Even though it's in the public domain, I've never seen the entire series at any store and it was only $2. The quality is about an 8/10 but for two bucks I'm not complaining.

A new batch was being put out here today with some Mill Creek stuff that I hadn't seen at Big Lots. All were $5. They had 21 Jump Street season 1, Password, Match Game, Price is Right, Family Feud, Booker (21 Jump Street spinoff, the DVD set contains 20 out of 22 episodes), Hunter S1V1, Renegade S1V1, Wiseguy S1V1... those last three sets aren't really worth it because they only contain half the season. I've never seen half seasons on those shows anywhere else, which is odd.

Oh and I also saw Mill Creek's best of season 1 release of Ironside.

Isn't Tuesday's release date of Greatest American Hero, a re-release of the complete series? I see GAH for sale all the time at quite a few places. I think what you saw is an old release, but I may be wrong.

They are re-releasing season 1 and the complete series on Tuesday... the one I saw is the new one, for sure, because it had a copyright 2010 date on the box. Although season 1 and 2 HAS been available at Target (the new release) as a Target exclusive since about January or so.

Outrageous game show moments - hosted by Ben Stein
Greatest American Hero - 1st season

This is slightly off-topic because it isn't Big Lots, but Target has some ABC Studios sets on sale next week. One that caught my attention in particular was Scrubs Season 9 for $9.99. Now, there is a coupon inside some other ABC products for $10 off of certain DVD sets, and Scrubs Season 9 is one of them... so if you have bought any other recent seasons of ABC programs (LOST, Desperate Housewives, etc.) and have that coupon (it is included in many, though not all, of them), then you can get Scrubs Season 9 for free at Target on Sunday!

Yeah, I've been seeing that one a lot. Also, Jeff Foxworthy Season 1 and The Best of Steve Harvey. I did pick up something today that I think has been there for a while, but never really paid attention to... I found some three packs of ESPN DVDs. They were $3 a piece, but some of them had the complete series of The Bronx is Burning, and another had The Complete First Season (and the only) of the series Tilt. That isn't a bad price to get three DVDs, including a season set of a TV series. I've never watched those series, but for $3 (and actually I got it for $2 since they are doing a Buzz Club 5/$10 sale today), they're worth taking a look at.

I broke my usual stay-at-home Black Friday to hit a couple of Big Lots today. Every set was at $6. I shopped between about 7:30 and 10 a.m. and supplies were holding up pretty well.

Things I saw included Wild Wild West Season 3, several seasons of CSI (and I think a CSI Miami), Beverly Hillbillies Season 2 (I think), a half-season of early Gunsmoke (again Season 2 I think), and Hawaii Five-O seasons 3 and 7. Also, there were sets of Family Ties -- around seasons 1 and 4 and a set from Jag. Finally, a set of Woody Woodpecker cartoons -- the second release, 75 shorts; and the clamshell set of Star Trek Animated. And I forgot to add: There were also some Perry Mason Anniversary compilations. And Sabrina Animated.

I did pick up a few things, mostly for gifts: Season 1 Part one of The Streets of San Francisco, and one each of the following set releases: Perry Mason, The Fugitive, and Love Boat half-seasons. Out of all this stuff, Streets was in shortest supply by far. Found just 1 copy.

If the weather were better, I would get out and visit yet 2 more that are farther away. At one of those a year or so ago, a lady dropped the only copy of an S1 Knots Landing ($6) in her cart literally seconds before I got to the rack. Arrrrgh! But I did get some Dallas sets back then at $6.

Likewise, at one location I found most of the sets I previously mentioned on the other side of the store close to the electronics. This really irked me because that's where I found the Star Trek: The Animated Series sets and if I hadn't needed something from that area, I never would've seen them.

Good buy on that set. My brother already had it, otherwise I would've been sure to pick it up.

It's a good idea to look the place over. For one of my Black Friday buys, on an empty shelf far away I found a Five-O set in much better condition than the one I was about to check out with.

I used to work in a warehouse that dealt primarily in candy, and every once in a while a Big Lots buyer came by. The manager was selling him stuff like weird kiddie-type novelty candy for just $1 per case! That used to steam me because I knew for sure the employees would pay much more than that if given the chance...!

Just discovered this board a week ago. I've been collecting TV series DVDs for a while now and had no idea about Big Lots carrying cheap sets until I saw this thread. In the last few days I've hit three different BIg Lots. I picked up Hawaii five-0 seasons 6 and 7, Perry Mason Season 2 vol. 1 and Season 3 vol. 2, and THe Fugitive season 2 volume 1. I have a question about the Fugitive set however. I just bought this today and haven't opened it yet but I was just reading on amazon about how this set had replacement music when it was originally released. Apparently Paramount offerered replacement discs a while back with the original music intact but I wasn't able to figure out if they have restored the original music in the sets they sell now. I'm guessing that BIg Lots is probably selling the old set with the replacement music. Has anybody watched this set that they purchased from big lots? Which music score is it?

I would just play it and see. If you still have your receipt, you can return it.

I just got back from Big Lots from which I picked up The Untouchables s2 v1, Star Trek animated series and Woody Woodpecker and Friends--I find it very weird that on the back of Woody it says Not For Children  .

I was tempted to get Streets Of San Francisco but I have never seen the show so I passed.

I checked out yet another Big Lots on Sunday. My fourth in a week. I like how they all have a lot of the same stuff but also each store seems to have a little something different. I picked up Cannon season one volume one and Matlock season one. Neither of these were at the other Big Lots. Haven't watched any Matlock yet but watched a few Cannon and enjoyed them. THis is a show I've been wanting to check out for a while. I love 70's detective shows but this one has always eluded me until now.

Yesterday I went back to the first big lots I checked out a couple weeks ago to see what I missed. I picked up Wild Wild West season 4. They had one left. Now I have the first and last seasons only. Today I'll be visiting friends for new years. They live near a Big Lots I haven't checked out yet. Will report what I find.

Stopped at 2 stores today and didn't see anything that hasn't already been mentioned except for Dr. Katz Professional Therapist seasons 1 & 2. I also stopped at a dollar store and found a two dvd set of Decoy starring Beverly Garland. I've never heard of this series and the 10 episodes in this set are probably in the public domain but since I've never seen it, I figure it was worth a buck.

I think you got a good deal there. I'm pretty familiar with old detective shows and a Beverly Garland fan to boot so I'm very surprised that I've never heard of this show either. I just looked it up on imdb and amazon. The comments were very positive. Apparently it was on just one season (57-58) and there are 39 half hour episodes. Garland was the first policewoman on television (move over Angie Dickinson). I've hit five Big Lots in the last two weeks and haven't seen hide nor hair of this. No Dr. Katz either. I would've grabbed all these up. I checked out my fifth big lots last night. Struck out. They barely had any tv sets and the little they had was all the same from other stores I've checked out. However, the evening wasn't a total loss. I checked out the mall nearby. The FYE store in the mall had both season 1 volumes of the Fugitive for 15 bucks apiece. These were at the top of my list so I grabbed them up. Also picked up a two pack of American Dad volumes 3 & 4 at Target for 10 bucks. They had other two packs for 10 bucks that others may be interested in (21 jump street, Get Smart). I'm not a big fan of either of those shows. Can't remember what else.

I doubt you'll see it at Big Lots because that's not where I saw it. I found this at a store called Mighty Dollar which currently has stores in NC and KY. The company that produced the set, is offering it for $9.98. I got to Mighty Dollar about 10 minutes before closing and only looked briefly at the dvds. They had 3 racks of them and if this one hadn't been in the first row I went through, I probably wouldn't have found it.

Thanks for the tip regarding Decoy. I'm a Garland fan and didn't know it was out. She looked great in that series from what I've seen. It's also worth getting the film D.O.A., which has Beverly along with Pamela Britton -- not too hard to find for $1.

Sorry Zoneboy. Didn't pay attention to your post when you mentioned Mighty Dollar. Don't have that store but I will still keep a lookout for Decoy when I go to other dollar stores. As you say, they are public domain and, like most public domain stuff, it looks like a few companies have released the episodes. I already have D.O.A. Great film.

On another note......Are there any fans out there of Jake and the Fatman? I keep seeing these sets at Big Lots and passing them up (even though I love detective shows and William Conrad) because I've never seen the show and never remember hearing positve things about it. Is it worth watching?

It's sounds like different states have different stuff. Jake and the Fatman is in every Big Lots around here but much of the stuff you've said you've found I haven't seen. For example, I believe you posted that you found season 1 volume 2 of Cannon. I just keep seeing volume 1 over and over again but no sign of volume 2. I believe you or someone mentioned other volumes of the fugitive. In the five big lots I've been to I've run into about 30 copies of season 2 volume 1 but never a trace of any others. Also, would love to find Dr. Katz. Would also love to find another perry mason volume other than season 2 volume 1.

Regarding The Fugitive: The one you found seems to be the common one if not the only one.
Regarding Perry Mason: Season 3 - Vol. 2 is also around (all-plastic packaging) in addition to the one you've located. And Zoneboy reported finding Season 4 - Vol. 1. Also once saw an Ironside compilation (not a season set).

I've never seen Cannon at a Big Lots, but have spotted Jake & The Fatman numerous times.

I also wanted to report seeing a Rawhide half-season set -- just one copy out of 3 stores I've checked. One of the stores still had a lot of Taxi (S1, S5) and Melrose Place.

Hey Biff, do you live in Michigan? You seem to have a lot of the same stuff. Or maybe they are pretty similiar all around the country. I've seen that Cannon set in two different Big Lots. I did run into one copy of Perry Mason season 3 volume 2. I almost missed it because it was mixed in with all the movies ( I found Wild Wild West season 4 the same way). I also discovered the Rawhide set in one store. Most of the Big Lots I checked seem to have loads of Taxi (diff. seasons), Melrose, and Beverly Hills 90210. Probably a good thing I'm not into those shows. Have to draw the line somewhere. Another one I see all over the place is Mod Squad. Wish I could find the Untouchables set again. I saw it a couple weeks ago and passed on it. Now they all seem to have disappeared.

Last week I picked up Laverne & Shirley S4 and Odd Couple S4 also Hawaii Five-0 Seasons 4-6. Noticed a lot of Jake and the Fatman, CSI sets and CSI: NY sets in stock this week. There were still plenty of Gomer Pyle, Untouchables, Mod Squad, Cheers and Taxi sets - multiple seasons.

Hit a couple of Big Lots in the last few days. Hadn't been to one in over a month so I was curious what was on offer tv wise. Both stores had new tv show sets but they were previously viewed sets with no main case (the individual disc cases were wrapped in cellophane). On the plus side, the sets were only 6 dollars apiece. Among the offerings were seasons of 24, My Name is Earl, Seinfield, Prison Break, and others. These used sets seem to be all more recent shows. Has anybody seen this at their local big lots? I'm curious if they are doing this nationwide.
