If I'm Ramona (Lakers fan), I'd be panicking right now.

This could hurt the team more than it could help them.

Why in the heck would the Lakers even think about picking up Artest?? I'm sorry, but I just don't get it. The Lakers are a Championship team, and have great chemistry, why even take the chance of messing that up?? And with a guy like Ron Artest no less. The guy can definitely play ball, but he's immature and unpredictable, and I can't see why the Lakers would take the chance with a guy like him. I still think the Lakers will be the best team in the league next season, but honestly, this move makes zero sense to me!!

^^ Because they think they can control him, and be even better offensively....sure they lost Ariza, and maybe Odom if they don't resign him as well, but they will be better on the offensive and defensive end, on the court.

You may be right, and it may end up being a good move, I just don't know if it's worth the risk. I'm a firm believer in the idea that if it ain't broken, don't fix it. The Lakers are obviously the best team in the league, so what's the point in changing?? I guess we'll just have to see how it turns out.

They want to be a powerhouse 65-70 win team. They get selfish, because they don't need Artest, but they want to go crazy on us, and maybe go for the 72 win record. It won't happen, but I'm just putting myself in their shows. Phil Jackson & management are crazy.

Even though the Lakers are one of my favorite teams, in a way I'm kind of hoping that the Artest trade does mess up the teams chemistry. Being a Trailblazer fan, it would only help us if this experiment failed. I'm still pissed that Turkoglu chose Toronto over Portland. Had he come to P-Town, I have no doubt that we'd be Championship contenders within a few years. We still might be, but with him, the odds would have been much better.

I wish we would of got him, but yeah, that sucks that you didn't.

I don' think Artest gets enough credit, he has been a good teammate and helped the Rockets get to the 2nd Round

That's true, he has been better behaved over the last couple seasons. I really can't argue with that.

to be fair, you love all the troublemakers, and hate all the respectable, classy guys

EX. Terrell Owens, Ron Artest, Allen Iverson etc.

Hate McNabb, hate Favre....

but I do agree with you, Artest had a great year, taking his team to the 2nd round and giving them a great boost of offense and defense, and behaved very well.....even the incident in the playoffs, in the 2nd round vs. the Lakers where the elbows were thrown, Kobe was throwing bows first.

you are hard to understand Solomon- lol

you always hated McNabb and made threads criticizing or making fun of the guy all these years, and in the last few months, for some reason you like him now. I don't know lol.

I like all 4, but those are the only athletes you like or you're just saying?

Ben Gordon leaving the Bulls to go to Detroit wasn't smart. He's gonna regret that decision because the Bulls did very well in the playoffs this year. They took Boston to 7 games and that was impressive for a young team. So it's confirmed that Rasheed Wallace is going to Boston? I heard that Orlando was interested in him also. Hedo passing up Portland for Toronto is ********.

Gordon on the Pistons with Prince, Hamilton, and the other players makes them better than the Bulls

You're joking right? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Rasheed it looks like is gonna leave and Antonio McDyess signed with the Spurs. Only good players on Detroit are Tayshaun, Richard, Rodney Stuckey and now Ben Gordon.
